Came into the store on the weekend and immediately regretted walking in. The manager, analise, was so rude to an employee, threatening to cut their shifts simply because they are a “casual worker”. I immediately asked if the worker was okay, but they just shrugged it off, complaining this kind of treatment happens often. This is not how you treat employees. The worker complained she micro manages too much and always disrespects the staff, treating them less than. That’s only their experience, i’ve been shopping here for a while, and everytime i see analise she always seems to be on a power trip. It raises the question of who gave her this much responsibility? It’s clearly gotten to her head she feels the need to take control of every little thing. The worker who helped me over the weekend was lovely, however i noticed a team member, who i saw was mentioned in another review, luke, was being quite negative toward this team member. Clearly the workplace culture is not very good and needs improvement, and should work on addressing and keeping your conflicts behind the scene.

The store is a ripoff. I called luke from rebel castle hill and told him that the helmet they are selling for a 109 is available everywhere else for $65. He said we will price match with total sports Australia and asked me to come to the store. Once I go there he tells me that total sports Australia is a scam and I must check the trustpilot reviews of that store. Turns out rebel has a trust pilot score of 2.1 and of course they don't price match. It's just a marketing gimmick. Avoid unless it's a last minute buy.

I recently took my son to find new running shoes, and Josh was incredibly helpful. He not only provided great options within our budget but also pointed out that my son's feet are wider than average, recommending a better style for his needs—even when it meant choosing a more affordable pair than what we initially selected. We're very happy with the service and will definitely be returning. Highly satisfied customers!

Amazing customer service

Worst service. I went in and returned a pair of shoes purchased online. Return slip issued. After not receiving the refund after over 9 days called the store to follow up. First person I spoke to try to palm it off asking me to call the bank! Asked for evidence of payment of refund being made no answer. Then comes Annalise apparently the store manager. Get told that rebel issuing the return slip sufficient evidence that return was done and yet again I asked for evidence of refund being done given the docket indicated it could take up to 2 days for the refund so the docket is not indication that the refund was done!!! Apparently asking questions is considered being rude and she hung up. Looked up online for a support number and after speaking to their operations team got told that they just then organised and had the refund approved. Asked why it took 9 days to approve and why the store lied that the refund was processed on their end. No response besides saying they didn’t know what happened. Rebel needs to train their staff better on how to support customer calls and take the initiative to call up their operations teams in such instances. Never again am I shopping at this store.

No customer service to speak of and product selection patchy

Went in today to exchange a pair of shoes which were tearing at the mesh.The store manager in-spite of them being 9 months old helped me by giving me another new shoe in place.Her service and customer service was exceptional.Wish there were more people like her, who served with a smile and made sure you left the store with a smile.

The team here were super helpful. I ordered some stuff online that were the incorrect sizes and had to rush in after work just before closing to exchange (as a former retail worker I know how annoying that can be) but was met with such a helpful sales assistant (I'm sorry I didn't catch her name) that was a superstar and helped me exchange and order in the correct sizes and was positive and kept the experience great even with some added technical difficulties. Will be shopping here again.

Awful customer service

First time that i have ever been at Castle Towers Rebel and it is the best Rebel store that i have ever been to. The staff were very kind and patient. Most of this store's items are almost never out of stock. From here i picked up some Football boots.

I recently visited Rebel to exchange a pair of soccer boots and had an appalling experience. The manager on site, a lady, rudely refused to process the exchange. Firstly, when we initially purchased the boots, it was clear they had been used and were definitely not new as advertised. Secondly, the boots were too large for our needs. Despite these legitimate issues, the manager shockingly accused me of lying and completely dismissed my concerns. This level of customer service is utterly unacceptable. It’s outrageous and infuriating to be treated with such blatant disrespect and disregard. Rebel’s management clearly lacks professionalism and basic customer service skills. I will never shop at Rebel again, and I strongly advise others to avoid this store if they value honesty and decent treatment.

Very poor service, I was waiting on the line to buy a socks that the attendant already said that I was able to buy my size and get to delivery at the store, so I can collect, because I leave in a big building I don’t feel comfortable receiving in my address they said I couldn’t do that at end. Very hard make the costumer to wait in the line, then say no when before it was said yes. I would much appreciate it if the staff know what the rules are so this can not happen with nobody else.

All staff are friendly. With the help of staff it’s easy to find item what I’m searching for thanks rebel for quality product and quality service.

Wide range of shoes and well stocked in all sizes. Josh was an absolute pleasure to be helped by. He was very helpful, patient and served us with a smile throughout.

Just bought a pair of toddler shoes from this location. Product was fine but the store manager was terrible, she was on a power trip. It felt like they'd hired their own Karen. Story is the price for the shoe was incorrectly marked, 2 staff members took accountability for it but at the register she went on a rant about how she's the store manager and she doesn't approve giving $10 off. We debated (no raised voices) but after losing the argument and agreeing to honour the display price she threatened me (not violently) to kick me out of the store, as if I was a violent person. It was wild because she'd already agreed to the display price but I wouldn't accept her weirdly blaming ME for the incorrect sale sign so I guess she went power trip mode. The whole experience was awful. I won't be going back to this store location unless that manager is changed or retrained. Not all Rebel is like this, I recommend skipping Castle Hill and going to Rebel Broadway or Parramatta.

Overpriced as hell

I had a very disappointing experience at Rebel shop in Castle Towers due to the unwelcoming behavior of the team leader. My first impression was extremely negative, and I was quite dissatisfied with the service.

I was that painful customer that turned up looking for match day netball that had only arrived at the Castle Hill branch that day. All the staff were extremely helpful and friendly even though they were working past closing time. Ball located and happy daughter. Thank you!

Just went to this store, found most of the staff pleasant and helpful, the only thing that let it down was the cashier, who asked if I could give my phone number, I declined to do so, as I don't wish to be bothered by companies sending me blurb or annoying me with phone calls or emails. I've just patronised their store by giving them my business, why do I have to supply my phone number? After saying no, she looked at her fellow cashier and gave the eyeroll to him like I was some kind of weird jerk. Good store, but the staff need to show more respect to customers, give the eyerolls a miss.

Customer service is always attentive n make you feel welcomed each time n their knowledge on any product is a bonus you come back as a happy shopper!

Friendly staff, but the store layout is confusing. The sections aren’t clearly named and myself and even a convo I overheard couldn’t find specific clothing sections. I ended up just buying fitness pants from Target

Good supplies for all other sports except golf. Very limited selections specially in golf wear/apparel.

Great range for most areas. Not a bargain hunting place, but when you need something specific they will have options. Tend to have adequate staff numbers.

I asked twice stuff to help with a shoes (bring us different sizes to try) before someone come to help. When he brought a couple of pairs and disappeared again! Like you have to hunt for the help!

Be careful when checking what stock is in store. Often I'd find something I like online and check if it's available in store so I can try it on. I found that the Rebel website isn't always accurate. It may say an item is available at that store, but when you get there, you'll find they don't stock it.

Nice store

Just waited 25 minutes for assistance on shoe fitting after speaking with 3 different store staff only for all of them to disappear out in the back room and not return, absolute joke.

EDIT: in my last few visits I have found service staff to be much more responsive, if this continues I will likely change this review entirely. ----- Service staff needs to be a bit more attentive and proactive in offering help. Most times I go here I don't get offered service at all. To be fair to the floor staff though, it does- at times - look like there aren't enough of them, and you can't really blame management either, given they get enough business to feel as though extra floor staff for improved service isn't worth the investment. Also, in the interest of fairness the last time I went I was asked if I wanted help almost as soon as I walked in... I do tend to find this is an exception to the usual experience however.

I had a very good experience buying shoes and they helped me find my fit. The 25kg barbells are very fun to curl in my opinion.

Been here multiple times in last 3 Thursday late shopping. Hardly any staff and what floor staff they do have are not interested in customer service. If that is what they call service then I am happy to take my money elsewhere.

Great staff especially Patrick and Lyndal. Rebel Castle Hill would be my first sporting shop before any other.

A bit pricey but not many alternatives around. Good customer service and they can provide an advise what to choose. Also, good variety.
