Fantastic watering hole. Great views, attentive staff, welcoming and kind service. The menu looks interesting also, and we look forward to trying it out. Thankyou for the free Coopers hat. The prices of your mercury draughts are pretty intense by a good few bucks, so for that reason there's a star missing. Look forward to visiting again!

Great barra and salmon fish cakes. Chips good too. Husband had beef and guiness pie. All good. Highly recommend.

Called into Cock’nBull for lunch today, what a great little pub. Great atmosphere and the food was just divine, Irish stew and Guinness pie, highly recommend if you are coming to Launceston.

Amazing place

Nice little professional UK style pub. Just had a pot of Coopers original ale. Bit strange that they don't have any James boag's on tap but still a nice pub for a drink.

Was pretty quiet on a Monday night but had a good win on the pokies!

Great British pub in the heart of Launceston; a must for any visitors to the town (and Guiness lovers) Pound-for-pound, very few things beat a British pub and the Cock n bull is an absolute home run. The vibe of this place feels as though it's been ripped right out of the UK and placed in Launceston The food served is traditional, and delicious. The beers (and most importantly, the Guiness) is absolute class too. Combine this with friendly staff and you have a great combination Would recommend it to anyone passing through - top tier!

I've always liked this pub and stop in if in the area..The pub looks amazing and has been updated but still holds the old traditional pub feel. Service was fantastic and friendly staff. Locals keen for a chat to and everyone was promoting the upstairs dining area. Highly recommend stopping in for a cold one or a meal.

Good food, good beer

It was very average meal. The portions are big, but the quality were low. Dry meat, chips cooked in old oil, unloved salad, and a lemon cheesecake with seasonal berries that didn't taste lemon at all and have only one strawberry. I regret paying $14 for this dessert. I will not be back.

Just Visiting. Came across the C&B Hotel. WOW! What a place to be. Great atmosphere, excellent staff, very friendly and great meals at a very reasonable price. We came from Geelong in Victoria. This is as good as any pub there. Richard, Meryl and daughter Nicole, Cheers

Two of us dropped in for lunch. Bangers & mash ordered from the menu and Buttered Chicken from the specials, with a Coopers Ale & Thatchers Cider. A lemon tart & icecream for dessert. All was very tasty. Staff friendly and efficient. Prices seem to be reasonable for typical pub food. We enjoyed the 70s-80s-90s music too. Parking at rear of pub. Onsite 🚻

Came in for snack and yaps with the girls on our overnight stay! Chips did take about 40 minutes to come out but pub was nice and got excellent service from Max

Food was heavily overpriced for an oso bucco which was tough and tasted like it had been put in the microwave! Not going back!

Had a wonderful dinner with my wife here last night and its just oozes good classic pub food with wonderful customer service to boot. The two servers(behind the bar and zipping about tables and upstairs) who dealt with us during our time there had a smile on their face the whole evening and were lovely every interaction. For our meals the portions were good, prices were not over the top and quick to come out. We got there at 6.45pm and left by 7.30pm on a friday night which was great. We will be back

Nice enough pub with a pokies area. Quiet time when I was there during afternoon.

Stopped in for a drink and feed, had the Beef and Guinness pie with chips and veg. The chips were pub standard chips (always a crowd pleaser). The veg was cooked perfectly, alittle crunch but not too hard. The pie blew my mind. From the crunchy pastry to the perfectly cooked filling. Tender meat full of flavour and surely will not disappoint. With the lingering after-taste this hidden gem should definitely be on your bucket list.

Alan the owner accidentally overcharged me. I just paid the bill without looking at the receipt. After 30 minutes he came back with $20 bucks and a few coins, and told me he accidentally overcharged me. He was very apologetic for the oversite. This sort of service, is excellent! The food and service was excellent! I’m definetly coming back! Highly recommend!

Great pub with friendly and accommodating staff. Lots of vegetarian options on the menu and one of the staff went out of their way to check with the chef if the pastry could be done Vegan. Highly appreciated the chef doing this, excellent food and good vibes.

Went there earlier today for the lamb roast and beef schnitzel with my wife. Fantastic way to start our trip to Tassie. Bar staff went above and beyond. Very friendly. Highly recommended!

Friendly staff, good prices and nice atmosphere.

The food has generous portions for affordable prices. We had the chicken parmi and battered fish and chips both were very tasty. Standard wait time, this is not fast food so don’t expect lightning fast food. Well worth it though, great pub food.

Al is a living legend. Best pub in Launceston. Also the best Guinness in Launny.

I have eaten here before, but this place is definitely advanced significantly since a year ago. Steak is so hit and miss these days, but chef Al really nailed the sirloin. He was also polite and accommodating. I will be eating here for all pub meals from now on. I haven’t found any pubs in Launceston, thus far, who have come close to today’s quality.

The service was excellent. Thanks Madi! 😊 The chicken parmigianas were perfect. I love that we had the option of mash and veg or chips and salad. The sticky date pudding was yummy. And the music was fantastic. But what most impressed me was this brilliant British Pub actually had a zero beer - a Heineken zero ! My favourite. YAY! As an adult who doesn’t drink alcohol, you feel like a second class citizen at most venues. It’s coke, sprite or a ginger beer if you’re lucky. Loads of alcoholic beers, but not ONE zero beer. So 10/10 to this place. We are from NSW and will definitely come back here!!

Was quite busy had to wait an hour for food. Drinks were sublime, food in the end was okay. My pumpkin was cooked oddly though. Didn't taste that good. Due to lateness of our mains we didn't have time for dessert. Atmosphere and warmth was delightful. An experience worth having but food and the food service could be, and should be, improved.

Arrived here after a pretty horrid day travelling and left in a great mood, reasonably priced, only had the chips but they were great and the highlight for me, the bartender was so kind, I didn’t grab his name but thank you! Would Defo recommend and will be back if I’m in the area again
