Stayed for one night here and I couldn’t be happier with the staff and the accommodation! Such a cheap place to stay compared to anywhere else and you sure get good value for money! Free soft drinks 🥰🥰They were so so lovely here, easy going and my room was also very clean and comfortable. Thankyou so so much!

Accommodation was comfortable and clean. The beds are super comfy! Staff were extremely helpful and do everything to make your stay a good one. Meals were excellent. They make the best Avo Smash breakfast!

On November 26, I booked a room at the Banktown Hotel and paid on Agoda, but when I arrived to check in, the receptionist asked me to give him my credit card to keep. I did not agree, so they did not let me check in and I had to lose the money I had paid. Agoda's policy requires not providing credit card information to the hotel. I have stayed at many hotels but no one has asked me to keep my credit card. I lost money and had to rent another hotel. Everyone should not rent this hotel.

$22 Steak and wings on thursday night was so good, as it also came with a drink. value for food was great. The steak was cooked well and the wings were good.

Great local pub in the heart of Bankstown. Great location, great layout and overall decor and cleanliness. Beers are cold, sports are on and the food is amazing. Well priced and delicious

Terrible customer services, I ordered a coffee, the staff told me, I'm busy ,but never return to my order, then I found she is playing porkies with her friend Please respect your customer and provide simple service Thank you Peter

They dont have scotch fillet. Served with flat and large piece of meat and with transparent membrane in between lol and they claim its scotch fillet 😂😂😂. The restuarant was empty btw.

Great pub in the heart of Bankstown with great lunch specials.

Food is good affordable

The rooms are located above Bankstown Pub so don't expect to find better than 3 star accommodation. Rooms are tiny and bathrooms roomy (at least the room I had) and clean - but a bit stuffy when first entering. The beds are SUPER soft, so not recommended if you have a bad back. ;-(. However, this is the cheapest and most convenient to train station hotel in Bankstown.

Public bar & outdoor seating & tables a great place to people watch and meet friendly locals. Met Gazza" a friendly local gentleman who stopped by for a chat. Apparently I look like "Angie" One of the managers. Sure it's a compliment or else I'm never setting foot in this place again! 🤣🥰😬"

Rooms are clean and modern, bed comfy. Good value

I was so impressed by the rooms! I've stayed at some hotel pubs before and they can be hit or miss, but these are very fresh and clean, with lovely bathrooms and comfy beds. It was also nice and quiet as the hotel isn't immediately above the main bar so you only get a bit of noise from the street. Really can't beat the quality for the price, I am extremely happy with my stay.

Only went to resturan for feed

Very disappointed. Was looking forward to staying here but when I rang to confirm check in time on the day, a staff member told me x3 times checking on the phone I had no booking and they had no rooms available/even tho I spelt my name out . I knew I had a booking but couldn’t find my confirmation. I had to find urgent other accomodation. Later it was confirmed by traveloka they did have a booking under my name . Bankstown hotel said I was a no show-despite it being their staff mistake and will not refund.

Fantastic hotel and close to everything in each direction you take. Train station on 2 minute walk with plenty of surrounding shops for huge of amount of food outlets,drinks,haircuts,ect ect the list goes on..major shopping centre less then 5 min walk(kmart,coles,big-W,woolworths ect)||Easy check-in friendly hotel staff|Room was fantastic for just under a week stay for a function over at the sports club|Comfortable bed with decent pillow,very clean room and bathroom were it looks like its brandnew or renovated or cleaned well after each patron,kettle,tv aircon in rooms usb outlet in the wall.Did bring earplugs for my stay as it is next to the road where you might get sound of traffic or the pedisatrian walk beeps allnight which i was warned about earlier anyhows.||Easy check out with a drop box on the wall on the way out for early morning departures.

Very delicious food and reasonable prices. As a starter we had Tomato bruschetta and salt pepper squid which was 👌. For mains I had a zucchini salad from weekly specials which was perfect for this warm weather and my mate had a chicken mushroom risotto. Great customer service, spacious, nice and clean. Highly recommended to spend some quality time with your friends and family. See you soon Bankstown Hotel.

What a fantastic place to stay. The rooms are fantastic and next level for a pub room. Lots of room with a great little balcony. Check in was awesome, shout out to the young girl who checked us in. Food was perfect and other staff are great. 5 star pub and we will be back.

Very accommodating staff. Great tasting food. Not overly busy. Great for place for dinner and drinks with family and friends

A friendly place to stay with renovated rooms and a convenient location.

I had Breakfast here on its first day, asked for Poached eggs as part of the Big Breakfast, it presented well with Tomato, mushrooms, hash browns a sausage, 2 poached eggs and bacon on sour dough toast, unfortunately the eggs they were over cooked, also there was 2 very small thin pieces of bacon and everything was cold, except the Hashbrowns. Cost @ $20 It was the first day and I was the very first customer so I thought it would have been much better.

Excellent schnitzel and beer battered fish fingers. The chips and salad were also great. Great value at lunch special price of $16. Central location, spacious and good service

Nicely renovated, friendly staff, no lift tho and no fridges in the room, this needs to be fixed as it's a hassle to go up and down for ice if wanting to keep drinks cold in the room

Hotel is a mixed bag, but if you want a local drink is friendly and is prone to local police doing drug checks.

The room was decorated so well and tidy as for the price. It’s located not far from Bankstown train station and also around with plenty restaurants. Not recommend for those who have issues with noises since the ground floor is a bar which is very noisy.
