Please don't advertise 100yr ol aged steak, and then serve me rump. Bought this 3 times before over the past 2 months and that steak melted in my mouth, tender and delish, today not so much. Wanted to ask for my money back it was that disappointing. But alas, I will return because their prawn sauce is the bomb, and the bar staff are cool. Not sure bout paying 26 bucks for the aged steak again though, if they just gonna serve me the rump. No i did not finish my steak! Do better chef 🙁

nice hotel, great staff, good coffee, drinks & food.. i would give 5 stars if you let customers & staff breath more oxygen - get all smokers outside, whatever the weather; like most pubs :)

Cheap and cheerful says it all - good value for money (relatively) if you’re after a pub-style meal, and you get large portion sizes. Pork chops are definitely my fav - can easily share one plate between the wife and I (unless you’re big eaters). The salad dressing is awesome. Certainly the atmosphere is nothing to write home about, but good enough.

I don’t recommend that everyone eat your lunch or dinner at there. While my friend and I ate our meals tonight, a staff suddenly said have you finished your meals? Would you continue to eat your dinner or take away? It’s really made me confused. Hello? My friend and I were eating my dinner. We still had a lot of food didn’t finish. I knew the dinner time would be many costumers. So she wanted to take the plates to clean. But we were costumer, too. I don’t understand why the woman treated us so impolitely.

Great welcome and atmosphere

Went there today about11.30am at VIP room, after play about 20mins feel like having coffee but no staffs around I assumed they probably busy So I left my machine on reserved then walked to bar for ordering my drink In VIP room bar has no staff I looked through window saw one staff standing on other side( other room has bar connected devices by glass wall) but wasn’t sure she see me coz didn’t seem she would come to get my order so I walked to the other side to see her to order my drink Me : “ hi, can I please get a coffee?” Staff : “ what coffee?” With not very friendly void and attitude Me : “a cappuccino “ Staff : “ Sugar?? “ with giving me a very aggressive looks I started to be unhappy then said “one” Then walked back to my machine Been more than 5mins I didn’t get my coffee then I walk to bar again and she was on other side of the counter pointing to my coffee that she left it on the counter This is way so rude and unprofessional how she acts and how she treats customers like this! Not first time about this young staff that rude to customers coz I seen it before but just didn’t think will experience it myself. Won’t go back again!!

Not a Pub person normally, being a Tuesday evening and the local Restaurants were having a Night off, I tried the Berala Hotel. WOW, what a sensational Experience; Delicious foods, great Service, wonderful Atmosphere..... If you're hungry and you enjoy delicious foods with quality Service to match, you must visit the Berala Hotel. THANK ME LATER!!!

Affordable price and the food is fully loaded. Pork chop still had some crunch to it. The mushroom sauce was the best!!! Lamb was pretty good as well. Not very packed and the service is pretty quick. Heaty lunch. Opens till 10pm.

I recently had lunch at Berala Hotel. Whilst the food was delicious, the air conditioner wasn't working as it should and we couldn't wait to leave. Why can't these people get it right. I wouldn't go there again on a hot day. So disappointing 😞

Great value food this cost $16.48 paid on card was huge portion and very tasty. This is what pub food should be.

My friend and I had lunch on a Monday at Berala Hotel. The meals are quite big and reasonably priced, although neither of us liked the chips. The other sides of rice and salad were better options in our opinion. Not a big variety of wine at the bar. The barmaid did go around to the other bar to accommodate our choice. I would visit again

Food was huge and scrumptious. Customer service was on point. Great venue for large groups to eat. Prices very fair.

They don't have details of what's included within the meals. For example bacon with chicken parmigiana. If you're allergic to something it's best to ask what's in the meal as they don't have it listed.

Expensive beers and at times dodgy patrons and the service hasn't at times been the best but you can have a gamble and buy drinks end of story .

Berala is a nice small suburb in developing, Berala hotel is close to all amenities, with accommodation upstairs and bar and lounge downstairs, plenty parking lots available.

I was a weekly customer of this for so long ,today I ordered the 2 grilled chicken plate . Firstly i found this rotten salad (as shown in the 2nd photo). While i almost finished my lunch i found a peace of steel which is a very dangerous chocking hazard. I walked to the staff with my food to show it . The girl on the counter called the kitchen staff and stated talking by a different language which is extremely rude for hospitality business like this. I didn’t get any apologies from anyone and ended up getting refund for my food. Which i am not happy for cause i came out with a half empty stomach.I will surely escalate it for the sake of other locals.

Pathetic results from some particular staff/managers who look to be on the way/phased out otherwise good pub for a feed & drink IMO

I poured water into the Pokie machine because I put 3,000 dollars in with no free games or any return and they kicked me out since February 2022.

The place stucked🚬🥴

Its like a second home.
