Sydney Star Kebab Bankstown

Went for late lunch and was greeted by 2 of the sweetest ladies. Food was delicious, fresh and very affordable. Will now probably make a weekly trip. Parking is very close at Marion St carpark.

Decided to make a home made kebab so I went instore and although they looked like they had packed up for the night I asked if I can make an order which they said yes to. I ordered a medium container of just kebab meat for $25 (the meat was stored in a tray not off the rotating machine) and 4 slices of kebab bread which were $1 each. Got home, opened the bag and found all the slices of bread were ripped down the middle, the lady had folded them in half and because they were stale and they ripped, then thinking things couldn't get worse I open the container of meat and found a cockroach inside

Randomly stopped by here and had a HSP after seeing a movie. Really enjoyed it, and the people working there were really lovely.

Kebabs are good

I went here as a first time customer for dinner on the 8th of August 2023. Their snack pack is big and tasted great with great quality beef, chips and sauce. I would definitely recommend this place. Overall: 10/10

The best kebab place in bakstown

Tasty kebabs and HSPs at a competitive price compared to other kebab shops in the area. I like coming here because the workers are friendly and it's never too busy at any time of day.

Wow best service best kebab man I’ve ever met in my life they are gorgeous I recommended highly their kebabs slap harder then the pokies I was playing tonight, I live in Canberra and the hostility is unmatched. These angels were sent from god. You guys saved me from worst hangover of my life. I will never forget you. Atmosphere service food and blokes bloody 5/5 I’m eating this thing 2 hours later and it’s still the best kebab Ive stuffed in my mouth. The sauce to meat to vegetable ratio is unmated. If you ever come here bring a spare pair of undies.

Decent kebabs and sticks with chips and cheese. Value for money is ok so worth a try if you in the area.

Great kebabs, their chicken kebab is the best.

Great food,the sources are fantastic. Staff are great in the food is awesome. Try it. My favourite chicken kebab with chips sources are beautiful by choice three sources. The best. If you ever get a chance to eat here you won’t be disappointed. Yum Yum Yum Yum

Best snack pack!! Fresh fried chips and soft tender meat with great flavours. The lady even made a small version of it when requested.

The Mixed Kebab with the Lot was fantastic. Highly recommended.

Was in the area with the family and dropped on for a quick lunch. What a great place, if you’re ever in Bankstown and want a genuine Turkish meal do yourself a favour and drop in. Street parking out front. Freshly made food and light and tasty. Thanks for the Birthday treat! Authentic cuisine highly recommended.

I try to order from phone, and this old man first told be theres a 45 minute wait, told me he cant hear me 20 times then for no reason said he’s not delivering to us bc im “rude”

$16 for mixed hap. They fried the chips on the spot and cooked the meat, so it tasted better than most places 👍

Compared to other restaurants in Bankstown, I found the kebabs here to be really delicious. If you feel really hungry, add chips to it or if you are with a family; a nice supreme pizza would go well along with that. Plus, the cost of the meals are pretty cheap for a meal that is guaranteed to make you full.

A great local kebab shop - have tried their HSP, their pizza, their kebab plate ... and plenty of their hot chips. The HSP sauce ratio is always on point. The kebab plate is decent although wish it came with tabbouleh rather than shredded lettuce. The pizza is great as they reheat it for you on the grill. And the chips - they're always freshly fried and never disappoint! IG: @shazlikesponies

Had my first HSP since wisdom teeth surgery. Money can't buy happiness but it can buy you a HSP with garlic bbq chilli sauce.

The only good Turkish place to indulge in Kebab nearby the Bankstown train station. The shop owner/Keeper is very welcoming and doesn't mind to hit up a convo with you

By far the worst pizza I have ever had ordered a supreme pizza the ham on the pizza tasted like plastic, when you grab the pizza the complete fillings fall off the base disgusting pizza highly don’t recommend to get a pizza from here.

RIP Sydney Star Kebab, Bankstown 👎 We (3 of us) went there last night to get 3 kebabs. We have placed the order by ticking the boxes ourselves even though the guy kept on rushing us (see below). I have asked for few other ingredients which weren’t mentioned there but rather the man started arguing loud saying why u haven’t until I said it’s not there to tick then he wrote and said that’s how I should. It was embarrassing for me as there were only few people dining in staring at the same time I was confused if I did anything to offend him. To me I felt like he was drunk or something that time so to avoid further argument, I kept it silent. His Colleague even didn’t bother standing up for us, like he was enjoying watching it. Then he started arguing with my Hubby with his order as well simply for no reason. I told him just take whatever we ordered and never come back this time as I saw my Hubby got annoyed & frustrated wondering WTH but he still won’t stop and continuing when at a point we had to say we are your customer, what’s wrong? Time we failed to stop him as he was getting louder and louder for nothing, we were like let’s go hoping he will just hand over the food for us to pay & go but instead he’s like ‘I won’t give you so go’ although one of our order was already made! We had to leave and I still can’t find a reason or to take this matter further as I believe he certainly owes us an apology as we have been living there over 3yrs so been going there too. There are not the only kebab shop in Bankstown also have worst humus & tabouli compared to any other.. I still can’t figure out WTH was his problem :( Background - we are regular there as it’s next to where we live to purchase hot chips for my son and kebabs for the family thus we usually overlook if any mistake by them with our order even though few times they missed ingredients which we requested verbally when placing the order. They commented few times as my kebab usually filled with chilli but never took it negatively. Anyways, just to avoid any mistake, I usually tick the boxes on the pack myself & ask for other that are not mentioned. We even laugh at their silly jokes.

Came to this place by accident.. Soo glad I did, the falafel roll was huge! And by far one of the best I’ve ever had. The garlic sauce is the best I’ve had in Sydney. Fast and friendly service too. I’ll definitely be back!
