Too crowded

Decent enough as one off during lunch but not worth it for the weekend dinner price. Something about the atnosphere makes me not hungry when I'm there.

Cashier crew very rude, management not professional......Extremely bad service experiences!!! Food ok but many other buffet better with better price. All crews bad face all the times. If management keep on doing this, they will be behind the market.

The admin deleted a previous 1 star review of a perfectly entitled opinion about the quality and service of their buffet. Now, I am here to double-down. The food genuinely tastes horrific even for an affordable price. To understand the extent of the distaste, it wouldn't be fair on my dog to feed them the food that was offered. Service wasn't any better. The staff took awhile to remove our plates from our table and even, at times, we took it upon ourselves to return the plates even though it wasn't explicitly mentioned or any visible signs that we had to return them ourselves. Either the staff are blind, willfully ignorant or they don't have the competency to do their jobs (I'll even add that the night we went, the buffet wasn't full or packed so that isn't a viable excuse). Genuinely a terrible experience.

I used to love this place and would often bring the kids for a wonderful family buffet. However, my most recent visit was disappointing. The roast beef was dry and lacked flavor, most of the machines were out of order, and the desserts appeared to lack any effort or care. While it's still an affordable option for a buffet, the overall quality of the food has unfortunately declined significantly.

This place is awesome, I wasn't keen on going to a buffet, but the food is really good top quality stuff and its a good price as well especially kids

Nothing in the hot food section was a standout for me except the pumkin soup it was nice ,the desserts were ok the crème brûlée and icecream was the best pick ,the only thing that was good was the seating area it was very roomy and comfortable ,but I think the food is a bit better at the Marconi club so we will stick to that one even though it is always crowded .

General buffet foods. Reasonable price for lunch. It offers some Chinese dim sum, steamed foods, BBQ meats, and western style foods. But the tastes are very general.

Excellent place. There’s a variety of cuisines, ranging from Italian to Chinese. They have a few salads and sushis. Whether you’re a salad fan, or craving for sushi or lasagna, Bankstown Buffet would have it! Try this place out if you haven’t yet already.

Free parking up stairs. No time limit. Very diverse array of food. No disabling with children running wild and touching all the food but over all, it was OK.

Standard buffet experience. Decent selection, very busy on Friday/ Saturday night.

Myself and my brother in law got food poisoning from this place. Honestly St Mary’s RSL and Penrith RSL is so much better. I definitely won’t be coming back here.

We went during the new year and there’s lion dance performance !!! The kids were so excited and the food was really nice ! Great place for family gatherings !!

It's one of the best cheaper buffets in Sydney. New environment, high clean standard and variation of dishes. Start from $22,80/pp for buffet on lunch service 11,30AM to 2PM and $33,80/pp for dinner (weekdays rate) What you need is to bring your photo ID/passport and a membership Bankstown RSL. If you don't have a membership, you can register at the front desk with a small fee. Parking is available on the basement for free.

Recommend one of best seafood I ate in NSW

On entry the older Asian man was so unbelievably rude, this man needs to learn customer service and how to speak ro people.i was ready to leave then, which i wish I had of. The food was old and very scarce on the sushi train. Very limited desserts, the chocolate fountain tasted like ice cream topping chocolate. Def not going back.

Great buffet. Surprised with its higher than average quality food. For the price, and the Variety of hot and cold food and dessert options. Recommended.

Great place to eat and all the staff was friendly in side . But the service front he front desk from the buffet was rude .they need be more friendly people more inviting people. But everything else is ok .

Was a good place to go. But since the updated of the place. It pretty crap. Large groups will be placed very far from the food. The toilet is closed where we were placed. Have to walk all the way back the front counter to go to the toilet. Alcohol is placed inside an aeroplane crate, not your normal drink counter. Foods is gone downhill. Wouldn't be coming again. The prawn were very bad.

A great buffet experience! The food was delicious, and the refills were prompt. It was quite crowded during lunch, but we still had a wonderful time with family. Keep in mind, there's a $10 membership fee and an additional $4.50 for soft drinks.

There's a great selection of food including seafood, Asian dishes, pasta, ravioli, and a variety of desserts. Staff are very efficient and focus on getting people inside the buffet restaurant.

Not happy with the Customer service. Food is usual as the other buffets. I prefer dinner over lunch. They take longer to refill foods during lunch time. Dinner is more better as u pay more.

Went for a Xmas lunch, great buffet, good variety available, good value, seniors discounted. Plenty free parking on premises.

For the price, you really can't expect much. It's standard and there aren't any better options.

Rude staff were extremely impatience and audacious.

To begin with the staff for entry are rude as hell. I paid for the full buffet and all the machines are out of service.

The Mog Champ sends his regards. It's good value for food especially if you like to have a variety in your meals. I believe they have a generous selection of different things and neatly spaced out. The service is quick and friendly, they take your plates quite soon after you're done with them and it's generally clean with nothing I can complain about. Thanks for the food Star! Quality mid here

Had the weekday (Monday) dinner here. Tried a bit of everything, unfortunately there was nearly nothing I wanted seconds of except the mussels in white wine sauce and fried fish balls. The prawns didn’t seem all that fresh and were small vanamei prawns. Only other seafood was small pipis. Save your money if you are on the fence, everything else is subpar decent restaurant quality.

Extremely rude. horrible customer service. I kindly asked about the buffet and the lady said you need to get out now. no reason nothing.

Nothing outstanding and the food is passable. Service wasn't friendly but the place was nice and clean. This was dinner on weekday $36.8 for non member.

Honestly, pretty good buffet lunch for its price, as of writing it was 26.80 for non members, I don’t think you can find that for a buffet in Sydney anymore. It is a buffet for your true locals and with such, the food quality isn’t really something you would be looking exceptionally for, again if I am I would’ve rather gone epicurean or harvest in the city, it is ok, very much a hit or miss (40/60 ratio?) my rating is skewed to my standards of food and food consistency, atmosphere was great, service was passable. The verdict would be: for a regular family outing looking for passable food in the local area on the average weekend? it does a job, just don’t be too fussy!

Need to pay $10 to become a member before dine in here. Food was bad. Not refilling the food No option in sushi area. dirty cutlery. Not worth with the money. Not recommended.

Yummy food for everyone

This place used to be decent pre-covid. I had low expectations but somehow it was worse. The meats were dry and everything just tasted sad. I wouldn't go back there even if someone paid me. For $35, I'd rather get something else that tastes nicer and better value for good quality food.

Nice assorted buffet. Clean and beautiful place. Free car park at Marion Street. Good service. You can only get access if you go with a member. A place to visit with the family. I will surely visit again.
