My go to shop for electronics. The staff are always helpful and know where the things I need are, always quick on the phone and remember when i go in to pick up parts. The staff knows their stuff and has helped me with choosing the correct parts I need and not the ones I thought I needed. The prices are agreeable and the quality of the products are great, the staff is awsome.

Got what I needed and staff were knowledgeable

I went to buy a battery for my garage remote. The assistant said he is not allowed to help customers change a battery (although he had the tool right there in the drawer & had to open it to find battery size). As an older lady, I would have thought manners & courtesy would prevail, but in this instance, it did not. Chivalry is dead in Jaycar.

Bought a Jaycar soundbar for our TV set and, although the sound quality was fair when paired to my iPhone, I couldn’t connect to the TV because no HDMI cable was included. No mention online that you need to purchase a cable. The remote came with batteries. FIGURE?? Being Xmas, I’m stuck on Day 1 of a 4 day public holiday period 😤 and no cables. Where is your attention to detail Jaycar?

can’t remember which staff member helped me but he was amazing!! there was a specific item that connects to gas stove i needed that was custom made and the store didn’t have the exact replica, the staff member showed me an alternative way to replicate the item and even did it for me. He saved myself from needing to call an electrician as his method worked, very grateful!

Shop is amazing but closing doors earlier than closing time an not answering phones 🙃 great service an all, but don't close doors before 5:25

Jaycar Bankstown really defines the customer experience in retail and I am not even kidding. Tower of a man walked up and offered to help, knew exactly what kind of transformer I needed and told me the one I was looking for was overkill - I cant tell you how much I dont enjoy going into shops these days but Jaycar Bankstown is an amazing experience .

Didn't have the part I wanted at Bankstown, but went out of their way to try and get it by the next day. Great customer service!

Bankstown guys know what they are talking about! Good and easy search for some very weird batteries. Picked up a few other bits and pieces at the same time. Happy customer.

Needed help with wiring and circuits and Jonathan was very friendly, kind and knowledgeable. He explained as well as demonstrated any aspects of wiring and circuits that I needed to know which was very helpful. Highly rated!

Emile the assistant store manager is a legend!! Give the man a raise! 👏👏 Emile helped us come up with a motorised setup for a rotating skirt project. Went above and beyond to setup and demonstrate the circuit in store for us to ensure the assembly worked for my end use whilst explaining options.

Turned up 15 minutes before close.... I think these guys were keen to lock up and get out on the dot. Normally shop at the Croydon store, will continue to do so. The team there are much more customer focused and tech savvy.

I’ve had the absolute worst ever experience with this junky shop. (Jaycar Bankstown) I purchased an item online and received an email of confirmation to collect. Next day I went to the shop to pick it up , when the worst ever sales person “selim”asked me with an attitude “why didn’t you call before you come in , the item is out of stock”. Then he offered me a refund. I got surprised when he gave me a docket to sign saying (I’ve already collected the item )!! Of course I refused to sign it as it is a false document for me to sign, then he asked me for my credit card in order to refund the money. Very calmly I said I paid through paypal and you should refund it the same way. He got angry and asked me to leave the store or he will call the cops for me for “trespassing”. I said to him i’m not trespassing i am here in response to your email to collect the item. He called the cops, and i called Jaycar head office They regret what he did from a - z , apologised for what he did and refund my money instantly on my paypal. That took nearly 2 hours of my time, just because jaycar are advertising an item online that isn’t physically available in store. It was the worst experience with Jaycar. This experience will demonstrate how one bad bug can affect the whole box of fruit.

The Advertised Car park sale was infact an in store sale, BUT, the prices on the tickets of goods were ALL the same price ie: sale price $ 149.99, normal price $149.99, no reductions at all .

The products are not the best. I bought a vehicle camera with a 7” screen. It was providing a blurry image. Very bad quality. My cheap dash cam is doing way better than this expensive useless camera. I should have bought something from eBay or Amazon cheaper and better. Yes all made in China same same.

As a proud member of the Nerd Perks club, you can probably imagine how much I enjoy browsing Jaycar. I was in a hurry today, though, with three specific items I needed; I was helped by Amit, who was friendly and very knowledgeable about the items in stock. In addition to immediately showing me the locations of the products I was after, he noticed that the other staff on registers were helping other customers who needed more detailed explanations, so he took the initiative to open another register so I could complete my transaction and be on my way. Outstanding customer service, in my opinion!

The staff know what they're talking about, and give honest advice, even to the point of recommending that you don't buy a particular product if in their opinion it won't do what you think it will. It's also easy to park there - not always a given in crowded Sydney.
