Had a lovely meal here just before Christmas. Nice open venue with plenty of room and a great menu. Easy, free parking

Food, drinks, and comfort were all great, with one exception. No Cocktails.

Couldn't find parking spot in carpark. They were out of what I wanted to order.I ordered something else which I had to chase up because everyone else had been served their order but mine hadn't come. I tried to order dessert but they had run out of everything. I ordered coffee and waited 20 minutes for it as did everyone else. I was with a reserved group of people, so knowing there would be a large group I would have thought that extra desserts would have been catered for especially as there are large groups wanting to celebrate Christmas. If there is anyone managing the kitchen, they need a good shake up. I am not a member but paid what I consider a premium price for my meal. I have no intention of becoming a member after today. Came here last Christmas and couldn't get what was on the menu on that occasion either.

I went with my daughter and we waited 40 minutes because they forgot our food. The place was empty and we noticed that there was no movement in the kitchen so I asked and they told us that they forgot it.

I had lunch there today and the snitty was as tough as could be, too hard to cut, very dry. Disappointed as pointed it out and the waiter wasnt interested. Never again.

We regularly come here, like every month, and the food is always great!!! Today I tried the Tuesday Special which was steak - absolutely yum and the same price for members and non-members. Service is always A+. Much better than some similar clubs.

Online shows closing at 9:30 but staff keep pushing us to leave at 8:30 its not like other rsl clubs disappointed

Great customer service. Was welcomed as soon as we arrived. Food delicious 😋 😍 The Prawn twisters as a starter delicious. Grilled Barramundi so beautifully cooked. Definitely recommend this place. We joined up as members. So good

This club is ok but could improve. We’ve been members for years. Our friends and family use to visit twice a week for a meal but the last year or longer we’ve dramatically dropped our attendance. Mainly the bistro has dropped the ball. The menu was reduced which understandably as a business you need to look after yourself, but talk to the patrons and keep what was selling! All the good stuff was taken out… then occasionally the specials board put back what everyone was after but then they are always ‘sold out’. We’ve been dining elsewhere now days. Another small thing, why aren’t condiments like tomato sauce complementary? I’m sorry $2 for tomato sauce is ridiculous, it doesn’t even state it on the menu. Look at the other local clubs and pubs, it’s all complementary. Another suggestion for the meat raffle, offer more than 10 prizes on a Friday night or change it up by having the raffle on another quiet day to get more patrons through the door. Ps keep the bowling greens, they are the best around.

The chef must hate steak, who puts Chinese five spice on a steaks. Stop doing this.

Great local sports & entertainment facility

Nice place. Friendly staff. Even gave a refund when it rained during bowls.

I’ve came here on and off over the years, then once a month since January 2024 then once a week for the last 3 weeks and have found to be perfect, but sadly this time not so good. Asked for scotch fillet with veg, but I got a flank steak and veg, which I did get stuck into nether the less because I was staving at the time, but found them both to be extremely salty and even though I tried just couldn’t finish the meal. Hopefully next time will be better.

The bowls were great and the food was delicious, however they seemed very understaffed as our food took nearly an hour and a half. We were given no explanation or apology for the wait time.

Nice surroundings a quiet day few diners attended the food is average and no desert selection was available due to delivery delays On the whole a nice clean and friendly place good staff and easy parking

Great bowling spot with cheap beers (more so if you're a member).

Sad to say the fish now being served is far inferior to the wholesome fillets served not so long ago .

My friend won a voucher for a meal here & invited me to join her. The club is a small, tidy, old style building with typical bowling club facilities. We were surprised to find the service was exceptional & the food was amazing! Our only complaint was that it was too cold inside on a cool, rainy day.

Not busy. Easy parking most days. Nice food. Nicefor a lunch date.

Terrible service and facilities. Ordered steak and chips and when the meal arrived it wasn’t even hot. The meat was seasoned and when I took it back they would not replace it as I didn’t request no seasoning. Told staff it doesn’t say the meat is seasoned in the menu. Absolutely disrespectful staff at this club.

Update ***** Redemption!. Great meal. Great service on our next visit. The prior poor review was just a one off. Back to 5 stars again ***** Really enjoyed our meal, but sadly our order seemed to get lost in the queue. It was quite a busy night fir staff with trivia upstairs, but people arriving after us were getting served prior. 57 minute wait fie snitty//burger /steak meals. They were very apologetic. Think this is a one off error . Food was great, as always .

Waited over an hour for meals. Seafood bouillabaisse was mostly soup with shells and no one pippi or muscul to ear. Pasta dishes were tiny. Grille Salmon was ok, but bery plain & the mash very dry. When staff were poliwtly asked we got a shrug if the shoulders.Very disappointing.

Lack of vegetarian options, especially no vegetarian burger to compliment the “Barefoot Bowls, Burgers, Beers or Bubbly” deal is disheartening- especially when there was a halloumi burger on the menu just last year. However, staff were friendly and extremely accomodating. Should out to Luke (I think it was) behind the bar for his exceptional service and understanding. Met another staff member around the greens looking for a patron from the previous day’s lost keys. Could definitely feel a genuine sense of empathy and kindness from them.

Having four burgers, of which are two chicken and two beef, with another two meat sandwich options while having no Vegetarian options is behind the times. There are 54 items on the menu, 5 of them are vegetarian disregarding the Sides. As a vegetarian I shouldn’t have to resort to buying steamed vegetables for $12 if I don’t like or couldn’t eat certain ingredients in the 5 options available. The pumpkin salad was nice enough, could have done with a little more feta and definitely wouldn’t want to pay more than $17 for it. Food came out quite quickly and staff were hospitable. However, the lack of Veg/vegan options is why I am giving such a poor rating.

Excellent service from the friendly and efficient staff at Fitzroy Lane. We had a lovely and well cooked meal and a great menu. Will definitely be back for another meal very soon. A great local club for the Pennant Hills area.

There werent many people there, didn't feel surreal and the music was WAY too loud.

I did not know this club existed until yesterday, this club is beautiful. The service and food is very good, will go again.

Lunch time service has become very poor. My friends, colleagues and I will now be patronizing alternate lunch venues in the area.

Booked for 10 people for Mother’s Day lunch, 6x steaks were tough as tyres, lobster tail was canned lobster meat and kids nuggets were rock hard. Beer was flat and tasted off. Don’t know what to say other than we collectively will never return to this poor excuse for a club. Massive let down. DO NOT TRY PEOPLE

Barefoot bowls for a good time, or become a member to enjoy it regulary. Food and atmosphere is always enjoyable. A place i would reccomend for families and friends

This for the Fitzroy Lane restaurant: Wouldn’t be going back in a hurry. Great venue but the food is not so great. Size of cannelloni meal was more like a kids meal. The enamel bowl it was served in had a chip on the side. The burgers are so small - had to share my chicken Schnitz meal with my son who was still hungry after his burger meal. Back to Penno pub we go as the food there is tasty and decent sized . Meal type Dinner

Why can't they serve you a drink at 9.30 on a Friday night? There are still people in there playing the pokies.

It had a nice relaxed atmosphere after major renovations. The restaurant has a wood fired oven for great pizzas.

Lawn bowls is fun

It’s a quiet place to meet friends and have some food and drinks. I has a spaghetti and was good.

I first came here for lawn balls for a birthday and then secondly for an engagement party function but I have been coming back here ever since. The food especially is divine. It doesn't matter what you order, it's always a hit!

We held a birthday party including barefoot bowls with up to 50 guests. Everyone had a great time. Despite usually being a tough crowd to please, comments by everyone was that the food was great, the service was excellent and the bowls was fun.

The staff were friendly and helpful but the food was pretty dreadful. The steak was very tough we even had trouble cutting it with a steak knife. The vegetables and garlic bread had a sour taste like rancid butter- didn’t eat much of them and the fish was dry and also had a rancid flavour. I wondered if they were cooked in old oil. The coffee was fine. Definitely not recommended.

Asked for nexium steak but got it well done. Sent it back and once again it was wrong, was cooked even more than the previous one.
