I visited Lakemba club on Monday for the public holiday. Got a schnitzel sandwich from Jenny in the cafe and a beer from Amy in the bar. I was greeted with a smile and friendly conversation. Chicken was crispy and made fresh. Beer was perfectly poured with good head on it. Outstanding service from both these girls, they deserve a raise

Nice little venue. Clean and tidy. Good place to get a basic meal.

I always enjoy coming here. Friendly staff and relaxed atmosphere. The bistro is great and changes the menu regularly. Food and drink prices are comparable to other clubs of this ilk, maybe even a little cheaper.

Good afternoon members of Lakemba club, And in actual fact Canterbury leagues club, The manager of Lakemba club needs to resign for making recommendations without consulting its members I was turned back from the club because I don’t have a silver or gold cards ! The manager advised that the directors signed off to allow the other members to be kicked out of its venue ! I understand that Ramadan is a massive festival but as a member who attended the club at 6 pm for dinner I was told I cannot park in the members club ! All members should stop attending Lakemba club so the manager can learn a lesson to emails its members so they know of these changes. The manager said it’s the advertising team ! I said no ! It’s you who made that decision needs to send the email to your patrons! The manager needs to resign for his stuff up! Do not go to the club ! They do not deserve our money !

Wow i totally agree with the last reviewer , I was also told i couldnt park my car in the members car park. Security told me that i needed silver or gold card. The club lost me as a member ! Vote for new management in lakemba What a disappointment! Go to bankstown sports club at least the staff are way friendly compared to lakemba plus always parking even around 12 o’clock NYE what a Joke -.- r they for real !!!

The seafood plater here is unreal and everything is responsibly priced too; if you want to go to a quieter club for a feed, drink and a slap but with the same quality as its daddy club, Canterbury, go here

Highly recommended for the quality of the staff and service you receive

As far as a smaller version of its mother club goes it’s great, a lot of elderly locals access this club because of the following points: - practicality (close to home) - access (wheel-chair, handrail) - taxi / Uber and family parking (pick-up / drop-off points) directly out front Staff / Management: worked on-site long-term and are very understanding, caring and as numbers are not to extremes they really do understand patronage. - which in-turn puts peace of mind within all persons dropping off patrons who frequent the club. - Security Team: Constantly make sure rules: - Accessibility and in-house are adhered to but also display true qualities: Empathetic and very Caring and as I’ve observed always on hand to assist those that require it. - Kitchen (Wow - big changes and so, so nice) - Patronage: Very diverse and a good mix of blended cultures that really all get on. What a lovely little friendly club! From the great food and service in the cafe, to the very friendly, warm, polite 2 lovely ladies calling the Bingo. A great experience, will definitely be back again.

The Lakemba Club Cafe is like my 2nd family. The quality of the sandwiches, snacks and coffee is just the best. You must get service from the ladies. There you get service with care, looked after and flexibility with the order. The staff are so friendly they treat me like a member of their family. The Lakemba Club Cafe is my absolute favourite place and the Bistro under the new chef even better. If I could give it more than 5 stars I would :)

All good in service and comfort. But sadly that they can never gain a proper management at their restaurant!!!!!! Amazing .... As soon as they gain a proper chef and management for the restaurant? The sooner we'll start to enjoy our most of our meals there???! Pitty that they don't have any Prawns dishes on offer!!!!!!!!! Another loss of old and new visitors for the new restaurant??? Cheers

Quaint little club, staff friendly, related to Canterbury Leagues. I went for the Chess club meeting on Mondays.

Love this club. They have the BEST toasted sandwiches in town.

We had a meal on Tuesday night at the Five Spice & it was great.

The night shift security guard should be replaced. I am here for gambling not here for sit tight and look at the screen.the front desk reception lady is nice.

I dined in the Club's Coffee Shop. I ordered fish & chips with a salad. It was a quick delicious meal because I had another appointment. The staff were great and looked after me, despite the COVID-19 restrictions. I recommend The Lakemba Club for a meal if you are attending to business in Lakemba.

There are so many exciting things have been added to the new development of Lakemba club. However, meeting rooms are not quite standard. Outside music always take away the focus of the meeting. Other than this, Lakemba club is an exciting place to spend your times with friends and colleagues.

Lakeba is the best place too go any time good serves and fast.

This club is a gem. Alcohol prices very reasonable and their restaurant, Five Spices, that serves delicious Malaysian and Singaporean cuisine is one of the best I've been to. This club is highly recommended.

So Bertie was feeling restless, so we headed to the Lakemba Club to try the Five Spices restaurant within. Ordering a lighter meal as we nailed a big lunch, the roti with curry sauce was the clear winner. Next time - A couple of cold drinks and an order of roti will be it. New favourite salty beer . Salt and pepper squid tentacles - ok. A bit over fried. Will try something else next time. Chicken ginger shallots - appreciate the generous serve and it was all chicken, only a little bit of onion 👍 . Will hit this up again as there is an offer of two mains, two drinks and two desserts for $39 (members). Fried ice cream to be reviewed next time. 😀
