Very loud and noisy but food was delicious

A good meal spoilt by the venue sounding like an out of control kindergarten. The noisiest club I think I've ever visited for dinner, with parents letting their kids run riot despite there being a play area inside. If you are going there for dinner book from 8pm onwards.

If you have child please book the playground as well priori you go there! It’s doesn’t matter if you have booked a table already. Without playground booked, no play. I can understand the limited number of kids, but it must be expressed when you are arranging your booking. It was the first time ever I experienced it: need to book a table for dinner plus a play spot. All the playgrounds area we’ve been around were for free. At Tradies you still have to pay $5 to play (which is nothing), but the no empathy with a 4y old for me was enough: tonight was definitely our first and last time there. My 4y old cried a lot of course, he couldn’t understand why he was the first in line refused to entry while all the other kids were allowed to get in. After a while they came back saying there a spot for him, and I know it was ‘cause I said I was going to review them. My son stayed there for literally 10m and then he came to our table hungry and that’s it. He didn’t want to play there anymore. All the stress was caused because the manager was so cruel and didn’t have any respect with my son’s feeling. If she had given him a piece of paper to colour until they find some spot for him, my son would be more than happy. But no, they let him crying over and over. They don’t have any empathy with kids/family at all. Please do a favour to yourself, and don't waste your energy and family time there never ever more!

We had a pleasure of celebrating kids birthday in Tradies Caringbah. I was looking for a place that have play space, fun birthday activities and cater for food. The idea was for the kids to have fun while the parents relax and mingle. The place was perfect as it ticks all the boxes. The staffs and the Events team was very helpful and the service was excellent. The price of the party package was reasonable considering the food, entertainment, and the great service provided. The fact that they handled everything —made it much easier for the parents. We felt like we got good value for our money, especially since everything was so well organized. Overall, the kids' birthday celebration at Tradies Caringbah was very fun. It provided a perfect mix of fun, yummy food, and smooth, hassle-free service. The children were engaged and had a blast, while the parents could relax and enjoy the party. I would highly recommend this venue for anyone looking to host kids’ birthday celebration.

A nicely located club and pub on the second floor where you can enjoy delicious food together or just hang around with friends in a clean and nicely decorated building. There is council car park around so you can have an easy place to park your car nearby. The staff here is helpful and friendly. There are indoor children playground but will incur an additional cost to enter. There are some power points for you to charge your electronic devices whole enjoying the nice scenery from the large window.

We had the seafood platter, it was plentiful fresh and delicious. The service given by Joseph was warm and friendly he made us feel like we were home. Thanks guys for a fantastic experience, we will be back with others.

At about 5 o’clock 25/5/2024 this evening we visited Caringbah Tradies. While having a drink we were playing the poker machines. We pressed the drink button, however the waiter didn’t come for sometime. I cancelled it. The waiter arrived. The waiter took our order, picked up two presumably empty glasses and spilled one full glass of apple cider over me. He grunted a sort of apology and proceeded to go for our order. I was soaked through with cider. He brought our drinks back. I thought a ‘complementary’ drink would be in order. But no, he got some sort of cloth and almost threw it at me. I asked for a damp one as the cider was sticky everywhere and that came …freezing. I first joined the trade union club when you needed to be a member of a union. I found the attitude of this staff member less than acceptable. I traveled two hour to my home by train wet through and sticky. I don’t need to keep an ongoing membership of this club as we live way out of area but it is close when we visit family members.I do so as it has been part of our history and culture. If this is the way you treat members and visitors Highfields is just around the corner.

Very nice club food was good

Hard to review an establishment that refuses entry because of our location. Despite driving 31km from Bundeena to enjoy a meal there with friends, we were told we had to join the club because we lived close. Thankfully there are plenty of other choices nearby that can understand the intent behind the rules

A great spot for a tasty counter meal with a supervised playroom for children. Would be great to see the addition of one or two weekday lunch slots for the playroom in future

Taking an active 2 year old anywhere for lunch is hard enough. Usually your local tradies is the best bet offering play room/equipment for them. Upon arrival our son sees this cool looking play equipment only to be told he MUST be 3 and up to enter... So naturally he is upset and so are we. We still tried to entertain him but its hard when they are that age so he proceeded to run around a bit and we felt very judged by the staff. All in all, this tradies did NOT feel family friendly.

Very good food and service

Did a course in the upstairs rooms. Welcoming and friendly place. Staff were helpful in setting up room and escorting people to the location. Parking was a little difficult so plan for a little more time to find a parking spot if you are going to be a few hours or more.

We were a group of 33 including kids and everyone of us were happy with our meals including kids meals. The service was exceptional, staff very friendly especially Phill (Duty Manager) and Lara as well as all waiting staff. Play space was also a hit. Will definitely be back.

Had my son’s birthday and christening there. Lovely view, the staff were very helpful and accommodating pre and on the day of event. The 2 course meal were delicious. Sonya, our host was very helpful. Guests were very happy, we had a great time!

Nice little place. Good for famlies with kids as it has a kids play area. Plenty of parking on the street or carpark behind. Food was pretty good also.

Food was excellent and staff very pleasant. A bit less children playground in the body of the restaurant would have been great particularly given there is a children play area.

We love eating at The Tradies, Caringbah as the staff are so accommodating and friendly to make sure your visit is memorable.

No longer any cider on tap at this venue, they took it out. :-(

We had a fabulous Birthday Party here & the venue for the 3 year old toddlers was just perfect. They were able to play in the play area which was supervised by staff. The food platters were delicious & very well organised. Great morning & can highly recommend this venue. Plenty of parking outside too.

One of our favourite places to have a relaxing drink and delicious meal. Atmosphere is warm and inviting, food is wonderful, but above all, some of the best customer service I have experienced for a while. Keep up the good work. 😊

Amazing area, brand new fit out and staff really friendly. Kids area looks so fun but we hadn't pre booked so unfortunately the kids weren't able to enjoy it. Pre book if you're keen to visit with little ones.
