Came here on Sunday just before midday for a casual pub lunch. The pub was showing the UFC on their tv screens. The service was attentive and the food was impressive. I ordered the parmigiana which was a huge portion and even the crunchy chips had a special seasoning to it. Always love to experience when a pub prides themselves on the quality of their food.

We walked past the other cafes in the area but knew we wanted pub food - extremely good choice on our end. Big portions, value for money and GREAT service from the team (manager and waitresses included) on Sunday 23/02. Asked for ice water and came in a jug with ice, asked us if we enjoyed the meal, placed the meals with a massive smile. Little details made our first visit quite memorable. Will definitely be back. We ordered the Southern Fried Chicken Burger and Parmi which were both great but would love to come back for their weekday specials like Monday steak night for $20.

Super dooper place for a night out with friends! Gabbi provided us with some fantastic service and an overall great vibe. Definitely will be dining here again soon

Good beer and great food. Irish chicken parmi is not much spicy and the beef ragu is one of the bets we ever had.

Spent New Years Eve at this place. I ordered the battered barramundi the fish was thick with a light batter compared to many other places l have tried it was amazing. The staff were fantastic so a shout out to them for being there on NYE. We travelled to be here and will be back. Prices were better than our local hotel alot cheaper!

Really great staff and trivia on Tuesday nights. The food is good- I got the Irish spice bag which was good but I wouldn’t get excited about it. The curry sauce tasted like it was from a proper British chippy

Regular at cookies for years now great Pub

Attended last night with a group to casually celebrate a birthday. The food was excellent and the portions were generous. The chicken wings were finger-licking good. The highlight of the night was the staff, all of them were so lovely and happy to have a chat. Big shoutout to the gentleman behind the bar, the cocktails were on point and was so kind and patient explaining the drinks. Thanks for a great night!

Best pub in the Strathfield area. Food has always been great when we have visited and the customer service is 10/10. Great variety of dishes offered on the menu. They do a fabulous Sunday roast. Love the vibe of this place!

Good atmosphere and interesting red wine

Had Father’s Day lunch there today. Ordered two roasts and two kids meals. Really appreciated the kids meals came out early. It was great that they got to start eating before our meals came out. They didn’t have to sit waiting and hungry. They also eat slowly. So we all finished at the same time. The roast wasn’t quite what I was expecting. It was so much more. So. Much. Meat. It tasted brilliant and it was so huge I couldn’t fit it all in. Really enjoyed our Father’s Day lunch.

I frequent this place often because of the incredible service provided by Ricky, Isabel, and Holly. They are absolutely delightful and always ensure a wonderful experience. Their attentive service truly sets this place apart. Unfortunately, my recent visit was marred by a negative encounter with Kayla. She was incredibly rude and had an attitude when we requested kids meals due to wanting smaller portions Shockingly, she refused to serve us and even discussed us disparagingly with other staff members afterward. Despite this unfortunate incident, Ricky, Isabel, and Holly consistently make my visits enjoyable. They deserve all the praise for their outstanding service. Hence, I rate this place 4 stars primarily due to their excellent service, despite the disappointing experience with Kayla.

Potato wedges is good

Booked for 16 people for mothers day and found our booking was nor registered at all. We frequent Cookies often but were extremely disappointed that they stuffed up such a large booking leaving us and our 90 year old mother with nowhere to go. Thank God for the Thai restaurant across the road who, with how extremely busy they were, managed to put us on a outside table collecting chairs from different tables to seat and serve us a great meal. Great pub that has meal deals on every night. Can vouch for the wings and the schnitty/parmy being 10/10. Service is always friendly and with a smile. Atmosphere can be a bit loud if it’s busy but to be expected in a pub. Overall would recommend and I’m keen to try more of the menu. Every meal I’ve had here so far has been a hit. Consistency is there !

QR code ordering - pay by card through the online ordering system. Guinness with steak Guinness has a black void colour. Bitter bite, with lingering crude sweetness and frothy foam. ‘Guinness’ is a stout that originated in an Irish Brewery and accompanied the steak incredibly well. I had some time to burn so I went for the additions of ‘lemon calamari’, ‘onion rings’, salad, chips with no salt, ‘creamy prawns’ and rare steak with mushroom sauce. Sticky date pudding, was soft and generous size. Comfortable booth seats, high stools and large dining tables fit in with the industrial look and exposed brick of the factory district within North Strathfield. The establishment can compete with Outback Steakhouse, both in quality and price. ** Close by is a Dog Park - 'Allen St Reserve' ** popular amongst locals with a secured black gate boundary and raised platforms and ramps for dogs. Levelled concrete walkway passes through the parks. Dog poo bags available. Short walk from North Strathfield station.

We come for trivia and have dinner as well. Works out well for us as the Tuesday special is all schnitzels are $19 and they are generous size servings. Their burgers are humongous too. Extremely disappointing service marred our dining experience. Despite upfront payment, we were left to fend for ourselves, retrieving drinks and orders. Our shared plates for five, including Arancini balls, Bruschetta, beef ribs, Buffalo wings, and a kids' meal, lacked coordination. The kids' juice am didn’t arrive at all, prompting us to fetch water independently. Surprisingly, the standout was the garlic bread. Struggling to obtain quarter plates and tissues, my husband had to intervene. Miscommunication at the restaurant added to our frustration. There seemed to be a disconnect between the waiter and the counter staff regarding table arrangements, resulting in an undesirable dining experience. We're avid restaurant-goers, but this experience ensures we won't return!

Quick to take your money, but complain about the meal. Different story. Yep the manager isn’t available until Monday! No one else is clearly able to make a decision. Other meals were great but ribs were awful I lifted my ribs up and all the yellow fat slopped back on to the plate. Clearly hidden Bright yellow pulp. Ridiculous amounts half of my ribs was fat that could not be consumed. Thought I was going to vomit. Mine was the best out of the two. Best part is that when you say refund… They walk off with the meal and leave you with nothing, so even if you wanted to eat your chips and coleslaw you can’t and then offer a drink So left hungry! Great service… no! Very disappointing considering that every other meal I’ve had there has been excellent.

Had the Monday night $20 rump steak special. It was the toughest steak I had ever attempted to eat. I think the steer died of old age. I have eaten here before and meals have been very good, but not today.

Absolute worst pub I've been to, we came as a work party 15 people. No one had even had a drink and within 10 mins they asked us to leave??? No one caused any problems we don't understand?? Defiantly wont be back for Xmas parties, it's a loss for them.

The staff are so awesome and friendly. The food is delicious and a really good price. Highly recommend this place. If im ever in sydney again I'll be back here. Wish I could take this place back to Adelaide.
