Welcome to CAMPSIE RSL
CAMPSIE RSL GROUP History
On 10th September, 1928, the Campsie RSL Sub-branch was officially recognized as a duly established Sub-Branch of the RSL. However, it was a Club without a home. Various building committees worked tirelessly raising funds, and after 22 years, they were able to purchase an army hut to use as club rooms. Under the chairmanship of Mr C. Stemple, the Club was officially opened on 1st April 1950.
Today, Campsie RSL Sub Branch Club Ltd prides itself on being an integral part of such a diverse and thriving community as Campsie. Through its work and support of local charities, schools, and organizations, we hope to continue being so for many years to come.
History
Under the chairmanship of Mr C. Stemple, the Club was officially opened on 1st April 1950 at 35 Anglo Road, Campsie.
- Trading hours:
- Monday to Friday: 4pm to 6.15pm and 7.30pm to 11pm
- Saturdays: 11am to 1.30pm and 2pm to 6.15pm and 7.30pm to 11pm
- Purchase of two poker machines with denominations of 6d and 1.
- In 1951, at the first AGM, they had a total of 60 members.
- The Club was run by volunteer labour until 1955.
- In April 1957, a liquor license was granted with the licensee being the Secretary Manager, Mr W. Allen.
- After many more building committees and extensions, the Club as we know it today was officially opened on 13th December 1969, by the Hon. R.W. Askin, Premier of NSW.

Our Re-Branding Journey
At Campsie RSL, we pride ourselves on our heritage, customer service, and commitment to the Community. While we were very aware of our character, we were not sure our brand reflected it appropriately. We are also developing at a rapid pace and need a brand that can be widely and instantly recognized throughout the entire community.
To that end, we decided to take a good hard look at our brand. We started with meetings of the Board and Management to discuss our strategies, who we really are, and the set of principles and core values we live by. It was imperative these were reflected in the new brand.
We discussed at length our current brand and what it said about us and what we wanted the new brand to say. From here, we took a look at what we wanted it to look like, what elements we thought needed to be included to portray our heritage and our future.
Our new logo brings with it a whole new color palette and imagery guidelines. You will see a change in our advertising and print material, stationary, and signage. We hope you like it!
Our New Logo – A Rationale
Upon deciding how we want to be perceived in the community, we developed a new logo.
- The main Campsie logo is a strong C, indicating the strong reliability of Campsie RSL within the community.
- The flames within the C are an acknowledgment to our RSL heritage – the eternal flame will always burn for those who made the ultimate sacrifice for their country.
- The colors for the logo are indicative of strength and our multi-cultural community.
- Finally, the tagline is a clear statement of our priorities: Club…Community….Commitment.
Putting our community first. The community is always at the heart of all our business decisions. Our commitment to providing the very best facilities and developments to the Campsie community is steadfast and resolute.
Our new logo says exactly who we are and what we do.

装修較陳舊,我只喜歡偶尔来吃點心,而自带茶葉。這里的點心有些像香港的味道。而晚餐考慮,就不是前三名了。
Free parking for members
bad service.. not goood security guard
Love it
Don’t go there if you want a peaceful fun night. Customer are allowed to slam machines to the point you’re so annoyed you have to leave. Managers will not do anything about it. Save yourself the trouble go to a club where you will have a good night this is not the club to go to. Lily one of the managers needs a review as well! Terribly rude, such a disrespectful person !
Fantastic
Everyone seems to come for yum cha, but try their dinner. Very good Cantonese cuisine which was tasty and delicious. The coral trout done 2 ways, the Shantong chicken and cockles in XO sauce were just some of their very good dishes.
Stupid and foolish very small but not good very crowd and can't find parking
Good service beer nice and cold. Food good
Very rude staff. We sat at the Chinese restaurant for 15 minutes and were ignored. I would not pay for the membership if I knew it would be this bad.
Great yum cha restaurant in Campsie in the RSL club, plenty of parking behind the restaurant. The variety of food ordered was splendid and the service were very friendly despite we had a big group with little and big kids! Portions are generous and fresh so will return again if we are in the area!
Gina very friendly waitress. I will come again thank GINA for me
A great yum chai restaurant at Campsie with a 90-minutes dining limit for fast turnover. They serve delicious dim sum.

Traditional yum cha
Customers need polite service, so they will like tasting more food. Some old steamers really need replace.
The best Chinese restaurant. Opened my eyes for the first time. And I am Asian, so it means special. The best dim sims in my life.
Its a very hard to win club don't know why maybe because they bet high amounts. Staff are nice and helpful .
If I could give NO stars I would! The minute myself and my 3 children walked into this club the staff were rude. The lady at the service desk asked me and my minors for ID as soon as I gave my ID she asked ID for my 14 and 11 year old I told her they’re minors! 🚩 The security guard who worked Saturday 21/9/24 at 5pm to be exact looked me and my kids up and down like we were filth. That was ok I signed in and proceeded to head up to the restaurant where we had a birthday booking. Waited for the family for about 5 minutes the security guard come upstairs walked around and eye balled me and my kids the entire time. Super uncomfortable. We went into the restaurant to wait as there is no where for families to sit in this club. NO WHERE this place isn’t kid friendly. 15 mins in I receive a phone call to come out as the club refused entry to a couple of my family as they had no ID. Sweet as we go to leave my kids are waiting at the bottom for me as I hop off the escalator the security guard come right up to my face throwing his hands up at me these were his words “what’s your problem you go to the bathroom but you said you go to the restaurant, what are you doing to me and my club”. My reply “excuse me? I didn’t use the bathroom me and my kids sat in the restaurant waiting for my family you refused to let in and now we are leaving”. He proceeded to go on that I used the club bathrooms which we didn’t. Anyway even if I did use the bathrooms what is it to the security guard? You don’t understand how belittled I was in that moment surrounded around patrons watching this securoty guard yelling that i used the club bathrooms. I hope this doesn’t happen to any other families in my situation as this was the first and last time I’ll ever come to campsie RSL. Campsie RSL train your front desk staff to be gentle speakers to customers and get decent security guards who actual kick out drunks and not parents with kids. Your security guard is toxic and I felt to be racist. NO STARS for the security and reception lady. 5 STARS Sunho restaurant for service.
Great yum cha
很不错,环境很好,有专门的抽烟区,服务人员很好,感觉很好,还可以中大奖,哈哈😃
I love their freshly cooked Yum Cha 🤤
Great yum cha
Great staff who attended to my membership needs at the front desk followed by Yum Cha in the restaurant. My friend I will be back.
Amazing yum cha, have to get the signature roll
good food , good service.
I've come here a few times with family, they get you to fill in a check list of what you want to order for yumcha (rather than having the trolley ladies walk around). It took about 30-45 mins for our food to come out and they seemingly served it at random, e.g, desert was served first after the savoury dishes. The food itself was okay, but didn't taste 100% fresh compared to other restaurants.
A great Dim Sum restaurant, strategically located not that far from the train station, plenty of parking, very friendly staff, decent price and generous portion size. Loved their rice noodles, siu mais, mango pancakes, and mango puddings. Would definitely come back, although the restaurant can be really busy on the weekend.
Great place for Yumcha
饮茶可以,味道不错,但不稳定,服务态度有好有不好,环境可以。
The sign at carpark reads: Members only parking. So visitors aren't welcome?
Long queue for ~30 mins during the weekend for table of two, reasonably good
洋茶很不错。
The best Yum Cha ever!!
Club staffs very courteous. The restaurant need more qualified and friendly staff. Food menu is a joke. Need to revamp menu. Charging an extra $5- for extra person for set menu is a NO NO!! Customers are more than happy to pay for the food without the SPECIAL SET MENU!! Happy with the dishes except the complimentary soup that almost spoil the dinner. It's just warm and not HOT!! So, don't bother to serve to customers if not hot at all!!
Mar2024 Probably not worth as much to come here given they have upped dim sum prices and it has entered the realm of quality. Wish they hadnt taken that stance. Older Sun ho has a good following. I would say the dimsum still decent. Its not as much as last time like 5 siumai but 4 now. Basic dimsum done well enough. I would prefer cart pushers instead of ordering via paper
Nice place, but it's not easy for me to watch soccer games in the pub as they usually offer AFL, cricket, or horse races.
Nice to eat restaurant
Extremely bad people in the gaming area. Played a machine had 2 men constantly staring and commenting about how much I was betting and winning. Other people also noticed this harassing behaviour. Can't believe the staff didn't notice they weren't playing the machines and harassing the players. Had to complain to get them thrown out. Then I had a machine on reserve a women took it off and started playing with my money. Called the manager who explained it as a mistake and let her go. Worst experience I ever had in a club and will never return!
A security guard who stays at night at campsie rsl so rude and he doesnt want us to stay and drink even a single drink and wants us to just play pokies machine.. idk whats wrong with him but thats so unorganised and lets have a look whats he upto…. might be he is racist ot something but thats too toxic.
YUM CHA 😋 Great food Great service
full relax
Great food and great discounts but not so great price since post plandemic .
我不认同,这里服务差1
Food was not great
Normal RSL club. Very busy for yum cha.
First time going to Yum Cha and the food was ahhhmazing 🤤 delicious! Had a great time. The only thing I could suggest would be when the servers are bringing more food to the table to just come in at one side (I had two, three of them at one point on either side of me shoving more food onto the table) and also yelling out to each other about possible wrong plates etc, I was there with 8 members of my family and just found that a little bit rude as we were having our own conversations around the table and then had these ladies shouting out to each other over us. Please don't do that, kind of ruined our experience but not enough to not come back! Just some constructive criticism 👌🏽 Happy New Year guys 💫
Easy access from station
I feel this RSL club is more asian orientated. There is a Buddha alter at the entrance. Their bistro has been turned into a Yum Cha restaurant during the day. Their gaming area is small. Their customer service could be better.
Great yum cha
