Great place to play bingo. It's a shame I can't win lol

Just wondering if they have a seperate pile of books for regular players that they know and a pile for players that dont go all the time as the same people win all the time and not just one game, they win multiple times in one sitting.

My first time at bingo ever and it was a lot of fun, very quick, but interesting and good time to have with your friends and or family- no kids 😉😉 Alot learnt in 3 hours and looking forward to going back soon.

Coffee is to weak and expensive.. would be nice if you could bring own coffee and tea.. machines always winning out of 15 games one book won.. needs to be a limit on machine

There are better venues around, I liked the venue (food, service,) in general.. some local players were very annoying by talking during games.. very off putting and if you miss a number due to the talkative locals it's very hard to catch up.

I love this place. It’s big and the caller isnt too fast or I’ve got better. Always heaps of money to be won.

Staff are unprofessional, was there on Sunday night when 2 staff members were standing and gossiping about a previous staff member. Will not return to this centre due to this reason, will find elsewhere to play. Staff turn over has been a big issue here of late and it’s obvious as to why now. There's a special every 2nd night at the moment. Can't keep up with what's on unless looking it up before going so there's no $ surprise when I get there. If management actually dropped the amount of books you can play on a machine (a massive 144 per set) and actually set them lower like other bingo centres over Melbourne, they'd get their patrons back that travel further. Surely management can't be that ignorant to this. They'd make more $ doing the opposite. Let's talk PET hire... $2 per hire. That's $4 a day, $24 a week, $1456 per year. Multiply that by 70 PET machines. $101,920 a year. Management, you're making a killing on those machines. And that's without fixed base. Treat your customers better. Also your coffee is weak and tasteless.

Absolutely no problem with the game itself other then I never win lol, but the food is a disgrace, the food is flavourless, tonight my friends and I ordered a baked potato, it was disgusting, the potato was small ro start with, I didn't want coleslaw on mine there is no substitute to replace it you just get cheese and butter which is microwaved , the cheese is over cooked and is stuck to the plate non eatable, I was charged $17.50 for the potato and a can of coke, if I could upload the pictur you would agree it's a disgrace, the food is extremely poor quality and extremely over priced very dissapointed

As a first time player, what the hell is going on with the speed of the callouts, you have literally ruined my experience with bingo.

Attended your bingo establishment this Saturday evening 14/1/23. Ok firstly the temps today were up in the 37-39 degrees and yes whilst I’m aware air cons struggle in the heat why was your air con working perfectly fine at ticket sales but was bordering on being in a sauna in the hall?? You claim the AC wasn’t working properly and had some big blower on which made it worse. The caller sounded stoned, very disinterested and mumbling. Now let’s talk about books versus machines here at fountain gate bingo. Whilst I am fully aware gambling is just that it’s a game of chance and luck but when your playing 4 paper books against someone that’s loaded up over 100 books onto there machine how is that a fair playing field for all?? Why not have a books only day/night and just watch how many of your regulars actually come back there, cos it’s very clear you have lost a lot of regular customers cos the same group of people continue to win making it impossible for us book playing people to win, it’s almost mathematically impossible. Suggest you lift your game, listen to your patrons concerns and business ideas to make this place the once fun outing it used to be. Or is the thoughts of high profits to enticing for you. Do better 👍

37 degrees today, no mention online or at ticket sales that your AC was not working. If you actually informed your patrons at point of sale you would have had 1/4 of the crowd tonight. Of all the money your centre makes you could have organised FREE bottles of cold water to ensure your patrons are hydrated. Then the supervisor turns on the blower at the start of the last game in the 2nd last session, making it impossible for patrons in the vicinity of the blowers to hear the game being called with no care given. When I questioned the supervisor, she said she thought it was the last game but made NO attempt to come back and turn off the blower. Same people win constantly!!!! No fairness at all!!!!! Ask for something at the canteen and don’t get what you ask for. I’m 100% not coming back. Your entire centre is an embarrassment.

It's Well run with great jackpots to be won! You can get some light meals in between games with alcohol on offer. It needs to have the air-conditioning looked at otherwise a good time is to be had

Awesome atmosphere with friendly chatty patrons. Facilities were immaculately clean with tasty and well presented snack foods. Definitely a place to revisit

Will start with the staff are friendly and welcoming. But like other comments, this place is so rigged. We were going everyweek but no more. The same people win over and over again. Not very fair for book holders. The machines have ruined the fun of the game. Yes it's gambling but over 3 year period have won once. Afew weeks ago 31 people in centre. 3 women won over and over again. Playing books we had no chance. With all the comments on here you would think the owner would listen to his customers but NO. To busy ripping off pensioners and filling his own pockets. Oh BTW you should have lost your liquor licence by now. Your prices are high, hence why we buy drinks and food before we come in. You don't monitor it, so why not. Maybe if the owner took his finger out of his ar$e and listened to his customers and put customers feedback before filling his pockets will this now empty centre begin cranking again.

Site states OPEN 10.30 am - 3.00pm on Saturday. Says nothing about you have to play from 11.00 am game to be able to play all or any games up to 3.00! I was informed it's a new rule. Fine BUT PUT THOSE CONDITIONS UNDER YOUR HOURS DETAILS so people don't travel and waste time only to find out when they get there!!

After reading all the comments here I now understand how some ppl can win several times on a machine. Tonight's bingo saw a lady win around 15x ??? I stopped counting after 10. Then I realised that ppl who won several times were playing machines. I think its really unfair on those of us who play actual books. Not sure if these comments would change anything... but a fair playing field is needed...

Thanks for putting your closed tonite cv19.Far too late on yr website!! Travelled 20 kms for nothing. Take this chance to renovate toilets and put a working hand dryer in ladies toilet. Steam clean carpet perhaps.

I love this centre. I dont go to bingo often, but of the bingo centres I have been to, this one is hands down the best! All the staff are super friendly and the food is great!! I'm actually a little disappointed that I ate dinner before I went last time... but I at least got to have some dessert. Prizes are great too!

I used to love playing here but not anymore. They need to slow the calling down, its rushed through so fast that by the end of the night i felt more like id sat a 4 hour exam instead of having an enjoyable night playing bingo with friends. also the caller runs the numbers into each other as she got faster through the games making it difficult to understand and by the time u looked up at a screen to check what number ud missed the next 3. its ok if u play a machine but not if u enjoy the fun of dabbing the books. on a brighter side all the staff are friendly and the food was really good and a decent price.

Great place and friendly staff. Reviews here are very harsh towards the people loading up machines....heads up... gambling is gambling no matter how much is spent or won. Crown casino has loads of patrons spending up big to win - no difference here. Bare in mind it’s really a raffle ticket win and the more tickets you have the greater chance of winning you have. I have no qualms on whether someone plays 2 books or 52 books...someone will win and it just might be the person with 2 books. I went one time with my father and the jackpot game was $25K, the lady sitting across from us won on 2 books and good on her. If this place doesn’t bring you some sort of joy or fun then simply don’t go, stay home and be miserable ;)

Been there twice .....one Blonde lady on a machine loaded it up with a ton of books won a total of 8 times in one night....and 7 on another....clearly this is a rort...if your average nan wants to buy 4 books she has buckleys....this is not bingo this is a competition to see who has deeper pockets... Thankfully this became blantatly obvious very quickly... needless to say I won't be coming within cooee of this joint unless there is a cap on the number of books one can purchase on a machine... Save your dough or should choose to go donate some of your money to the blonde chick seated in the corner playing a million games...you may as well skip buying your 50 dollars worth of books and just walk over to her....hand her your cash...and go have an early night...
