We came here last year 6+ months ago and we liked that there was supervision for the kids play area and we could sit outside and enjoy some peace and quiet while we ordered the food. This second time around however there was no more supervision, the food quality has gone down and the prices had gone up. It really discourages us who aren’t local to come because kids meals are $17 for non members and a simple Alfredo pasta $23 with no meat and just cream, the mushrooms weren’t cooked with butter or have any flavour. The curry was $20 and wedges $15! The only good thing was the gelato! Sadly husband says he’s not taking us here anymore. My friend does recommend the Chinese restaurant though.

It is a great local, social place. Well facilitated. Mainly for people who drive. There is no public transport available nearby and for walking people is not the best to get to.

Went to the gift shop to buy earrings for my wife birthday. Dale's assistance and patience was amazing. Great service and thank you Dale for your help. Next time i will bring my family to the club.

This has to be my top pick for visiting .. so much to see from the moment you walk in , you can have a massage in one of the chairs while watching the large bird life they have , or enjoy Yum Cha in House of Tong on the top level , the have corners you can enjoy coffee or cake , you can even make a wish in the wishing well . I do recommend having a day at this venue you will not be disappointed.

On this visit the men's toilets next to the marble bar were found to be filthy. Not the kind of dirtiness that was of a once off occurrence, but the ongoing likelihood of poor cleaning hygiene. The pictures show the hand wash area with a slimly black film that has built up over many months. Such a predominant and open surface should be cleaned daily - this has not been the case. It was shown to the front desk staff, they wanted me to show to a manager, not my job and it's a lack of accountability that destroys customer faith. Hopefully there can be an improvement made. Update 31-01-25 these toilets are still dirty and remain uncleaned.

Plenty of parking with its okay food with reasonable price. Good to go and have relax time with family and friend

really nice interior, well decorated . the guys up the front take a little bit of time, avoid the bald white one- he’s a bit rude. needs to touch up on his manners a little . house of tong seems promising, although we did book a table and still have to wait a while.

The Club's general atmosphere is ok but the Chinese restaurant there seems to be overpriced.

Edit/add. A couple of the catering staff were unfriendly on Xmas eve. The same older worker as usual not happy with our table. Why do we go back? I guess we’ll never know… We meet up with family here 2-3 p/year. Must say majority of staff are lovely, however a couple do spoil it with their power tripping ways.

I was at the cafe with my mother yesterday and I did not like the way the short head lady carried on in front of customers. There was a man waiting to be served then I walked up to the counter. Being polite her told the lady behind the counter you can serve this lady first. The lady behind the counter said I do not need to be told how to do my job, made a big deal of what he had said but he was be polite and letting me go first. Wont come back there again

Getting to lifts from parking and back to right carpark is somewhat confusing - signage could be improved

My wife and I had dinner at Riverview tonight and we thoroughly enjoyed it for the following reasons.. the food was delicious and it was just the Chicken Schnitty ! , the price was so reasonable and the service was fast and efficient from the Manager Marko?? And Dale. It was good to see workers who never stop clearing and cleaning tables keeping the place in good order unlike some other venues we have attended. Look forward to our next visit. Keep up the good work Nth Ryde 👍

Nothing worth mentioning. Just any other RSL club. The shop doesn't have too many options but it's okay.

I have been here many time, such an unfriendly staff they have. Most of the time feel uncomfortable and treated so bad for nothing. No hospitality and customer services skills at all.

Bargain

I have been here a few times now and had a pretty good time overall. The kids meals are pretty good value with a drink and icecream. Steaks are great only point would be chips needs a little seasoning. The RSL itself is quite large and has an amazing kids play area, so if it's family friendly you're after you'd be hard pressed to look past this place.

Very reliable, a lot of flexibility to work with and a plenty of work to get. Every one from the manger to the staff is engaging and polite. I love working with Mediplus agency. They are very efficient and prompt support.

This place is going down hill real fast the service is very bad they forgot our meals that sat in the kitchen and went cold after waiting 30 min then we had wait an extra 20 minutes again to be re cooked and this is not the first time this has happened you can hear the other clients sitting at the other tables complaining about the same issue. The value for your meal is not all that great for an RSL compared to other local RSL clubs. We have been coming to this club for 20 plus years and it’s sad to watch it go down hill like it is and they don’t seem to be listening to the patrons even though they had a customer feedback/ suggestions box.

I visit RSL club north Ryde today Went to gambling part with my baby by mistake as I lost ( it was my fist time ) One lady had very bad behaviour as team of security/ staff I believe RSL CLUB In Hornsby much better than North Ryde. Also don’t have enough machines compare with Hornsby

Good on the club for sticking up for themselves, the council is trying to send the club broke because the Mayor is trying to steal the clubs land.

Great club that’s finally standing up for itself against the council, Major and NIMBYs! TG Millner is private land, not public green space as people seem to think. The new development includes actual public green space as well as giving people somewhere to live which in my books is more important than a touch football team from a different LGA having someone to play Losing this land to the council will have a huge impact on club grants and 100+ peoples jobs

The impacts of your selfish decision to turn the sports field into a money making pit could mean an end to: - The 1000+ Carlingford Cyclones members to have somewhere to train and play all year round. - The 700+ kids THIS FRIDAY having somewhere to play their summer sports. - The 6 games per time slot, a minimum of 4 time slots, 2 times a week. But Jim Morris says that TG Millner doesn't get used enough and that the top fields haven’t been used in years?? Maybe he needs to get out a bit more and have a look at what is going on in the real world!

Good place to have the dinner

Had lunch at riverside bistro. We had allocated seats near a big function. The partition had to be sliced into place after crowds arrived which was disruptive. Overall service was good, meals were timely

We had a very unpleasant experience today at the Chinese restaurant, Nth Ryde RSL The food was appalling and overpriced , the waitress was rude and clearly showing that he didn’t want to be there. To make things worse two meters away from our table was a group of men using very inappropriate, offensive language. We won’t go back there ever again and we will share our experience.

Went for poker. Had lunch and ordered the cheeseburger supreme. Waited 25 mins for it and I ordered when it was quiet. I could pretty much count the chips on the plate. $21 for a small burger and very small handful of chips is a bit of a rip off. Had dinner at the bistro and I only waited 8 mins for a schnitzel and they were flat out. Food was much better there

Had breakfast at the café. Selecting the GF option is like asking to be punished and pay full price - probably the cheapest GF bread and no meat for the eggs benedict - one may as well order eggs and GF toast. I thought I'd have better luck ordering an almond cuppacino, but unfortunately it was clear the cheapest possible almond milk is used - the taste was horrible and the milk separated. I was told this happens with almond milk, but in all my years of ordering almond cuppacinos, I've never ever come across this and neither the awful taste. I have no idea how the other restaurants are, but at the café it's clear that they are trying to skim on the quality and quantity of ingredients and charge as much as possible. The staff were also not very helpful or friendly when questioned. I don't recommend eating at the café, especially if you're GF.

As a Crème Brûlée connoisseur I will say the crème was a solid 9 a little too sweet but made well other then that the brûlée was burnt to a crisp I could taste the flames so I’d give it an 4-10 overall 7-10go easier with the blow torch Was also sad the marble ball doesn’t spin anymore
