Nice Italian food at the Bistro Just a shame they don’t open for extended hours on the weekend. There is also a little play area off the bistro and a small outdoor dining space.

Best midweek child friendly dinner with an array of options from cafe, bistro to the newly opened Chinese restaurant by the Phoenix group. Well worth a membership!

Great Food and service.

Enjoyed a family birthday celebration lunch in the Brasserie. Suggest if you dont have young children or need yo be close by, request a table away from the kids play area as there is no door or any sound proofing. Food and service both good.

Located at 8 William Street, Five Dock, New South Wales, Australia 🇦🇺. Had a lovely meal, chicken, and my dessert was delicious. The club is decorated beautifully and the staff were helpful and friendly when asked for anything. I couldn’t fault anything about the club. It was very wheelchair friendly which was great for us as we had someone in a wheelchair. There’s also a Chinese restaurant if you don’t want to eat at the Bistro. It has lunch specials on offer. It’s called Phoenix 🐦‍🔥. On my second visit I had the Spaghetti Aglio e Olio with Prawns….. so yummy. I joined for 3 years for $5 and you get reimbursed on your first purchase after becoming a member. Would definitely recommend this club. Thumbs up!! 👍👍

Great club

Nice friendly staff. Great variety of food and plenty of space for young children to play. Make sure you try the Nutella pizza with strawberries!

Great food in the bistro

Food was amazing, I had the best piece of steak I have had in a long time. My wife had a great pizza. Plus the children's playground outside was a hit with the kids. Lovely place to have dinner. Will definitely be going back!!

Phoenix restaraunt. Service was very slow, despite only being 20% full. Food came out staggered up to 10 mins apart making it difficult to enjoy a complete meal. Food average.

This is a really lovely club. It’s nice on the outside and lovely inside. The staff are friendly and the food and coffee was excellent.

I can’t believe I paid ridiculous amounts to eat a pizza that was far too sweet, greasy and unbalanced. Made me sick afterwards - wouldn’t recommend this place.

We’ve celebrated our mums 100,101, and yesterday her 102nd birthday. The staff are wonderful, highly recommend both venue and customer service

Food here was OK. Others who ordered after me got their food before me - quite frustrating. The prawn chilli garlic pasta had breadcrumb mixture scattered on top. Not typical for an Italian dish and disnt think it had a place on the plate. A slice of lemon with some freshly chopped pasley would've sufficed.

This review is regarding the Phoenix Chinese restaurant in the Canada Bay Club. The Phoenix is a great new addition to the Canada Bay Club. The food was served quickly and was incredibly tasty. The staff were very attentive and friendly and made sure that our visit was an enjoyable one. I would highly recommend a visit.

nice club.....however, the quality of food is down....new Chinese restaurant not only gives smaller portions but also charges more than the last one which was there for so many years....my big beef however is the cakes....because they are all so expensive to buy, there are always many on display over days and days, so when you finally buy one you pay premium and you are served with a cake that is stale. there is no reason why i cant have a fresh vanilla slice, after paying eight dollars or so for one....

After years of empty seats in restaurant, we finally have our cluback & it IS possible 2enjoy a meal @the bistro. Chinese upstairs however, is v.lucklustre, not 4the ones who know their Chinese. Nice coffee & atmosphere!

Nice small club! Clean modern n fresh looking with great restaurants… we were at a Function room with meals supplied by the Phoenix restaurant . Lots of parking available.

Staff at door love to exercise their power and show no understanding for a difficult circumstance regarding license ID. Food is very mediocre — stingy portions and not particularly high quality either. Do not recommend this club.

Nice club and great location. Staff members were pleasant and helpful. Unfortunately, my meal was poor quality - the seafood plate was basically reheated packet stuff - a really poor collection, the worst I've seen. The chips were nice though!

I attended an expo at the club, the hall was very spacious and huge. The receptionist was friendly. Space was clean and well maintained!

No one attended the Pyschic fair and advertising wasn't allowed. Bad

Great club with good food in Granata's Brasserie, seven dollar beer for the members and smoker's pokies area as well as non smoking room.

Was there for an event which was well organised. The food however was not very good.

Use to be my favourite. Club staff always friendly. Eaten here many times. However last experience in the bistro was terrible. What happen? Not even close to good now. Ordered gnocchi only to leave them as they were mainly flour based with little potato. Not enjoyable. The snapper we ordered didn't smell pleasant. The pizza base was covered in char as the oven hadn't been cleaned of soot. Overall seems the kitchen didn't care much and it showed. Playground is great for kids. Look forward to much better reviews before I go back.

Great staff

First time coming here and wouldn't come back. We were trying to find a place with an indoor play area for our 1 and 2 year old while we could grab a drink or a bite to eat on a cold day. Got there at 11am and the lady at the desk told us where the play area was so we started heading that way to then just be stopped by her 3 minutes later saying we can't go to the play area as it's not open till 12. Funny thing was another mum who heard the lady said her kids were playing in there and I also saw another family head into the play area. But the lady at the desk had it in for us and said we couldn't go in because the restaurant was not open. Don't have a play area in a spot where the children can't access it all the time while you are open. Completely nonsense.

Great place for wake venue for family memories

Disappointed that you have to pay $50 to book a table to bring a cake into the club. No other club in Sydney charges to bring a cake.

Really long queue to order food but the line moves fast. Order food early before you go to the bar for your drink. They have sparkling water on tap. Wait for food is long on busy nights. Massive playground for the kids. Great service.

Today I had the worst lunch in a restaurant and I lost $2,000 dollars on the Poker machines and I had to pay for water whilst I was playing and losing. This is the worst club in the inner west

Excellent a la carte plus fantastic Chinese restaurant. Sunny outdoor patio for a lazy drink overlooking the golf course. Fabulous promotions- win cars/ cash etc.

Dj eddie Jackson parties are what made me come to this club!! Me and my friends came up from Newcastle just to attend his parties. These nights should be a monthly event!
