Nice quiet pub in the middle of the day

Wonderful staff with great service. Always with a smile. The food was above my expectations, pretty good value and well presented. First time there, was seeing a friend play in the band.

Good pricing. Patrons are your typical VB and Centrelink lovers a bit very bogan and loud for Artamon but they are ok

Legitimately excellent chicken parmigiana, maybe the best one I've had in Sydney. Moist, crispy batter and delicious cheese, sauce and ham. Otherwise - classic Old school pub. Great drinks. Weird retro 80s paint job on the outside which I absolutely love. Very friendly staff. Love it.

Ok but spacious

Standard pub fare for food. Friendly staff. Good atmosphere especially on the regular jazz afternoons.

It’s not for everyone but I love the place. So much room, classic pub food, darts, pool, live music, lingerie waitresses…

Great band i saw there tequila mockingbird

Medium-sized hotel/pub with convenient M2 access and undercover basement parking. It was an unexpected venue for one year old birthday party, but the generous sized function area with adjoining bar made for a comfortable social event. Sadly, the quality of the finger food buffet was sub-par. The mini spring rolls were crispy and warm, but the filling was little more than cabbage. The cheesy arancini balls were crispy and satisfactory, but the chicken skewers were overcooked and lacking flavour. Even the boiled rice was tasteless and cold. I have not yet tried their regular menu, but I sincerely hope it is better than the function menu on this one occasion.

The rump plate on weekday special is good value. Live band rehearsal was on so we enjoyed a bit of live music. This hotel is very spacious and old school style.

A great lamb curry

We were there with friends to enjoy the live band the Wranglers, we enjoyed a meal and drinks. The food was delicious and well portioned and reasonably priced. The staff are friendly and the atmosphere was great.

Friendly staff, food was tasty but a bit cold. Lots of seats and screens to see sports

Attend my daughter's vocal night at this hotel, we came later and were told no more food order due to previous orders being held. No choice, we are starving till the performance ends even for my little kid. Very bad experience, no preparation for the events or adding more capacity in the kitchen, not recommended to hold any events here.

We love going here on Monday for a Steak special! It was cooked really well. I have also tried the prawn pasta which was really good. The staff is always friendly and love the pool table here. Highly recommended!

Nice quiet spot to have some lunch

I had to put this review because it was extremely delicious!!!! The food was fresh, tasty and generous. I had a fish with lemon, salad and fries really healthy, not super oily at all! And so fresh, my partner had a rump steak with salad and mush potatoes! And his portion was generous and as mine fresh and so delightful! I would recommend this place!!!!

Very friendly staff

Monday and Tuesday cheap weekly meals of steak and chicken parmy are great and easy on the wallet. Staff are always super friendly and free pool on a Monday.

Great pub. Only stopped in briefly in between wedding ceremony and reception but was a good spot. They handled a large unexpected group well. Clean and tidy, well kept pub. Bathroom was downstairs but I’m not sure if accessible via a lift?

Great food. Terrible service. This place is never busy, but the smug fools behind the bar will always manage to misplace your order. A good place to go for a great steak, so long as you are willing to tolerate the arrogance and incompetence of the clowns working behind the bar. Well done guys! 😁👍

I recently organised a work trivia event that we held in the upstairs room at the Freeway Hotel. Tony and his team were so helpful and went out of their way to make the event really fantastic. The food was great as was the venue. Everyone loved it.

Parking down stairs, hotel just off main Rd. No outdoor seating.

I attended an event there, that spanned across 2 rooms, the staff and security couldn't have been friendlier. The only downside was the sound systems couldn't handle the music, but it was ok. Highly recommend if you are hosting an event or party.

Went for late dinner, was told kitchen closing in 10mins. Appreciate they still took our order. Thai beef salad was well marinated although a bit tough. Steak medium rare but turned out medium well, the meat was tender though. Chips & onion rings were crispy. Overall a good dinner. Ambience nothing to shout about.

Good food, decent selection of drinks, great service from friendly staff. Good vibe without being too raucous or in-your-face.

Cannot rate the food and the service highly enough. I had the rump steak chips salad and mushroom gravy. The chef was happy to cook for me even though it was late and It was a quiet Tuesday. The salad was remarkably fresh, my rump, i ordered mine medium and it was so very tender, tasty and was cooked to perfection. The gravy. Ooooohhhh the GRaVy baby! It had the shine, it had the flavour, oh how I love gravy and THIS was the bomb!! Even the chips were fluffy in the middle crisp on the outside with a tasty seasoning. Quality not often seen in a pub feed at this price.

Nice atmosphere. Friendly staff. Very nice food and nice cold beer. Try the chilli prawn linguine, very tasty.

The bistro has great food. I’ve come here on a Saturday. There’s not many people around. The quality of the meal.. I don’t normally order a chicken parmie as time and time again I’ve been disappointed with overcooked chicken but no it was moist, cook to perfection. I opted for veggies and mash with pepper sauce. Looking at the surrounding meals lamb pie, sirloin and fish and chips quite generous portions. Great meal and friendly staff. Even great on a Saturday.

Pepperoni pizza was horrible. Lacks atmosphere.
