What a gorgeous place this is , stunning views! Food is always fantastic I had the salmon fillet today and it was delicious. We also had the sweet potato wedges!! Amazing 😉

I am consistently quite impressed with this restaurant. My husband and I love the menu. We have probably tried almost everything on here and honestly love it all!! We have had three birthday events here and apart from the great ambience and waterfront position, the staff are always friendly and accommodating. One of my favourite places to dine.

I have tried a number of time to contact via email and phone to book a function...no one returns calls/or reverts on emails. Strongly suggest if you want a decent function do NOT try this place...terrible service

My best friend had his wedding here and I can't help but give this place 5 stars because we had such a good time.

Would never ever recommend this venue for any private function! Management were inexperienced, rude, ignorant. Service was slow and they were very racist. To be paying thousands of dollars for an event we expect to be treated with dignity and respect! Shame on the owner to hire such incompetent staff.

I want to Dedes for my birthday on Saturday. Both my husband and I ordered the hot and cold seafood platter and so did my parents. Very disappointed with the service. We did not order any wine except for a glass for my father so our table was ignored. We had our glasses filled with water just upon being seated and not once was it filled during our lunch. When our plates were cleared from our entrée, both my knives were cleared and I wasn't given another one. Trying to get the attention of the waiter who was happy chatting to the table beside ours, he walked right past so we had to get up to get a knife from another table. For $140 a platter, the seafood is scarce on the plate. Certainly not value for money. Then my husband told the waiter about the water and the fork and he said he'll tell the captain - he did no such thing and then said he felt embarrassed and came to give us water after our meal was totally finished and we were waiting on the bill. He gave us 4 small chocolates and we had to wipe our hands on the tablecloth as our serviettes had been cleared. My husband mentioned it to the person in charge - light haired man - and most other places would offer a complimentary dessert, coffee, entrée etc but he just shrugged in a nonchalant manner and said he found that surprising as they were both senior waiters and it was not busy at all. Upon paying for our bill, my husband noticed once we got home we were short changed $1.40 - so he called up immediately. The response was indifference. I am really disappointed to say the least - I am a member of the Sydney Rowing Club and the service, the mannerism and the quality is a joke.

Hideous food! So over priced. Dined at Dedes it was so expensive and so average. Steak precooked and just heated up. The chicken breast the same and dry. $140 a head for a bad pub meal. View nice. Wouldn't be going again

Went to Dedes mid-week. Fantastic view and good service but food very expensive and poor quality and small servings for the price. Stay away from surf and turf for 2 (waste of money).

Saturday 3rd January 2015. Great food. Great outlook, HOWEVER, our enjoyment was cut short when two children began running around the restaurant squealing at such an ear-shattering pitch that we had to leave the restaurant and go to the bar next door for a quiet drink. Apprently the parents were unaware, as so many are when it's their children, and they got to stay and enjoy their meal! I spoke to a waiter about it who said it was worse on a Sunday. It's hard to imagine!! We will certainly not being going there on a weekend again. So, future patrons, be aware of what days you are going to attend Dede's Restaurant at Abbotsford, unless of course, you have children!

Stay away from flathead fillets. Only fish nuggets. ( Birds eye. ) Staff are lovely. Same as Cronulla RSL. Con , please give people what they pay for.

this is a nice restaurant i like most about this place is sea food it was really good and the environment is really good and friendly staff

Lovely hide away on the port of Abbotsford. It's a rowing club, but tactically hiding the pokies. 180 views of the water. White table clothes. Really crisp service. Food selection is modern australian, but who cares, when you've got the view. Recommend to go there for lunch to take advantage of it.
