I had some trouble with one of my orders—it was missing a part. While waiting for the team to fix the issue, I decided to shop around. Bimal was the sales who greeted me and asked if I needed any help. He was very patient and demonstrated excellent product knowledge. He took the time to make recommendations and explained why certain brands might be a better fit for my needs. Initially, I wasn’t planning to spend anything because of the issue with my previous order. However, Bimal’s outstanding service changed my mind. Does this work for you? Five star rating is for Dean. I had an issue with another store and out of the sales staff at Caringbah, Dean was the only staff member who went above and beyond to assist me. He clearly has a ‘can do’ attitude and was extremely helpful and polite. Thank you, Dean. 🙏
Ater, an absolute gentleman offered me excellent service and advice today on dishwashers. He kept it very real by explaining what features mattered and what were luxuries. Service with a smile. A pleasure throughout even for something as boring as buying a dishwasher.

My Husband & I had to buy a replacement washing machine as our 22 year old one, bought from The Good Guys, had finally had its day. We went to their Caringbah store. The man who helped us was fantastic. He had so much information regarding the Bosch Front Loader that we purchased. We asked about delivery. The next morning it arrived at our door. Two very nice men took our old washer away, & installed the new washer. Such a smooth & easy process. Great price & great communication.
As others have said, customer service is terrible. It takes a while to find anyone to help and if anyone’s around they ignore you. I was after exchanging an item I’d bought which was different to the one pictured on their website. The guy needed explanations several times about everything and kept repeating what we’d already figured out. The guy could’ve told me upfront we don’t even have the item in stock. He initially was on the computer trying to figure out what item it was, (even though I’d showed him the model) and then spent a while on his machine trying to figure out model numbers, (we were basically going in circles.) He couldn’t answer basic questions, had no knowledge of the items or tell me if they were in stock or coming in. Turns out after about 20-30 mins what I was after wasn’t even in stock.

Great store but alot of the products arent in stock but the website says they are. Kinda disappointing.
Lot of choices
I bought a new vacuum and steamer over 2 weeks ago, the steamer was out of stock at the time but the salesman said I can pay for it now and come get it once it’s arrived in stock. I asked how long they expect it to be before it comes into stock, they said as it’s approaching Christmas it shouldn’t be too long before it arrives. After a little over a week of not hearing from them, I called and was not able to get through at all, I was on hold for over 10 minutes. I then went into the store, and was told they don’t know when they are getting any more stock but have one at their Dubbo store they will have sent over, and it should be here within the week. It’s now been over another week and still nothing, and again, tried to call and was left on hold again for over 13 minutes without any one picking up my call. Impossible to get a hold of, and no one knows what’s going on in that store.
Couldn't get someone to help me and wasn't busy
AVOID AVOID AVOID!!!! After purchasing all our home appliances and paying for delivery, the delivery drivers refused to take the fridge up to level 2 as agreed on purchase (which was recorded on our invoice). Instead, they left it out in our driveway. We spent all Sunday trying to take it up ourselves. To make matters worse, they did not deliver our stove top and it was only after we called, they advised they were out of stock. They did not offer any alternatives and were unable to provide an ETA. WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE. Don't recommend !! Save yourselves the hassle and spend your money at Harvey Norman or Appliances Online.
We had an issue with our New Samsung The Frame TV. Our installer noticed upon opening the box that it was damage & parts were missing. I contacted the Store straight away & Marney on reception was very efficient, pleasant & understanding to chat to. She contacted Kevin the Sales Manager. He was brilliant & flew into action. Sorted out the paperwork etc & told me there would be no worries at all. Calming down my anxiety & letting me know that we will be receiving an exchange that very day. After hearing this. We were happy to return the damage TV ourselves. Once there. Kevin greeted us & organised some very good compensation. He then got his team member Jimmy to arrange the paperwork for the exchange. Jimmy was a delight to deal with. Fast & knew his job. Then both Kevin & Jimmy met us at the dock to double check the replacement TV. Plus helped put in our car. Making sure everything was perfect. We now have our amazing The Frame TV on our wall & are extremely happy. Yes, it was a bit inconvenient but these things happen. But I was extremely impressed how Manager Kevin & his wonderful team at The Good Guys Caringbah professionally sorted it all out for us. Wonderful Customer Service all round. I’ll definitely be shopping at this store again.
Made a mistake buying from this store. Misled about product availability. Still waiting one month later. 3 - 4 calls later each call they place you on hold for 20-40mins. Many better alternatives
The best appliance and technology store. I have spent the last week trying to replace an aircon with no one giving me straight answers or reliable cost estimates/timelines, in the first interactions I have with the good guys they were able to help and inform me of what the requirements and pricing might look like. The cherry on top being the price point being super competitive and reasonable. If you want quick, easy, and friendly service, go with these guys.
Very poor service from Staff & delivery man ..Brought(13/10/24) new westinghouse fridge next day delivery received but top & bottom part not working. Service person came said Monday morning will receive replacement. It takes 10 phone call( 200 minutes conversation time)& 8 days to get replacement approval. Finally Delivery guy came in front of shop parking spot not available. So didn’t deliver & left the premises even though requested delivery guy backside got parking but refused to deliver..still waiting…..
Shocking service the sales team have no clue about the products they sell. And they keep you on hold and don’t pick up your call.
Terrible customer service, they tried to avoid a refund for a faulty product...even though it was covered under warranty and ACL, said they can't issue refunds until they spoke to regional manager,which is nonsense,.They finally refunded after I visited the store twice , and showed and explained the AU consumer law to two different managers including the store manager Jacob, who lied to me about needing to get authorisation from his regional manager (who conviently was on holiday) and had an attitude when he finally realised I was correct and he finally refunded me, then walked off in a huff...terrible.....go to elsewhere...
Absolutely Appalling Service Avoid at all costs You will wait 20 minutes on hold every time you call If a product is faulty expect to go through absolute hell to even talk to someone I am so furious with the way I’ve been treated I am taking legal action and notifying the ACCC
Pathetic service Have faulty eufy camera , bought a pack of 4 and one is faulty Cameras are installed for over a month but to get the ONE faulty camera replace need to bring other 3 fine working cameras back. What a joke.

Do not bother purchasing extended warranty….. absolutely a waste of money. A bit over a year ago we purchased a “floor stock” Sony TV that recently showed a laser type line at the bottom of the screen so we called up and they put us onto the warranty provider. They sent a repairer out to assess who said they would advise there is a pressure point that only physical damage can cause. Spoke to the warranty provider who said this could’ve happened when it was in store or after but either way it’s not covered under extended warranty. The good guys sold me the extended warranty purely for the reason of it being floor stock. Very disappointed considering we’ve spent thousands of dollars over the years. Not anymore.
Ordered and paid for an oven plus removal of old and installation of new oven on 1 August. Took some time for the oven to arrive but finally an installation date was set. When the day arrived I got a call to say they had lost my oven! Yes, they lost the oven. Couldn't find it!! Can you believe that? Said they could order another oven with expected delivery date of 3 October! No thanks. Harvey Norman is the place to go. They delivered and installed within days.

Don’t buy anything large from the Good Guys Caringbah, the delivery company that they use refuse to deliver anything if it’s too bulky/heavy. What a nightmare, finally got a refund.
TERRIBLE SERVICE! GO TO HARVEY NORMAN INSTEAD. Purchased all my appliances here 5 years ago and the service was outstanding. Unfortunately this is no longer the case. We bought a new washer/dryer for $4,000 and had delivery booked for today. We live in an apartment building so there is limited car parking however there is a loading dock. The delivery driver failed the delivery stating he wouldn't use the loading Dock as it was too far from our front door and the item is too heavy. Had to then speak to the store as Good Guys apparently don't have an order despatch team. The store manager at Caringbah was quite sassy and he really wasn't interested in assisting me to have my order delivered. He said the best they could do would be to book in the delivery again for the following day and hopefully we'd get a driver that was willing to deliver. He also stated that this was quite a common issue for them as they use a third party for their deliveries and have absolutely no control over the drivers. He also offered to waive my delivery charge of $85 for the hassle. I explained that the hassle was the inconvenience of now having to take a second day off work to be there for a delivery that he couldn't even guarantee as it would depend on if the driver felt like using the loading Dock. His attitude on the phone was extremely dismissive and he had absolutely no interest in helping me. Also he said I'd have to make a trip all the way to the store just to have the delivery charge refunded - obviously hoping I'd not be bothered to do this. I'm actually now quite glad he was so rude. I did drive to the store and instead opted for a full refund of the items that were sold to me as Good Guys simply couldn't follow through on their delivery service. Ended up buying the exact same item from Harvey Norman just up the street. Harvey Norman not only matched the Good Guys price, they also threw in a $400 store voucher as part of a promotion so I ended up paying less. They'll be delivering tomorrow and they've assured me that their drivers actually can deliver without any issues as they don't use subcontractors and also come prepared with 2-3 men for bulky items. Such a shame that what was a really good business seems to have now been taken over by a bigger company (JB-HiFi) and is no longer actually a brand focused on good service. Highly recommend you give these guys a hard miss and instead visit Harvey Norman if you're looking to purchase a new appliance for your home.
Jennifer W is the bomb! I urgently needed a stove, went round back to pick up but unfortunately didn’t fit in my car. The warehouse guys were a little prickly. So I went back around front Nd Jenn went to great lengths ordering it from another store for me and organize next day delivery even though I’m out of the area. Thank you!
The worst customer experience I have had at a retail store. Ordered a washer dryer, went to pick it up and the one they had was damaged. Told to wait for a week or so until they received another. 4 weeks and two visits later I phoned the store and was put on a hold loop for 20 minutes. (A hold loop is where they take you off hold and put you straight back on again without actually answering. It’s a tactic to keep their on hold times down.) I gave up and now just want my money back, but that’s no easy task as I used a gift voucher given to me from Christmas as part of the payment. Horrible experience all round.

Rude and unhelpful staff. Worst Good Guys experience I have ever had. They don't respond to phone calls and don't send any order Comms.
This place has to be the worst place I have ever dealt with. I went to Harvey Norman that have full tech support and staff that no there products before going to THE GOOD GUYS CARINGBAH And was stupid enough to believe one of there staff that talk me into buying a laptop. When the laptops battery would only last 2 hours I took it back and asked for help deleting all of my details before they sent it away to be fixed only to be told we don't offer any tech support. So you sell so many computers yet they had to put over the load hailer asking if any staff new how to reset the laptop. Obviously I'm not real tech savvy but I don't sell computers. Thankfully one of there young team that didn't even work in the computer section came and helped me, Also telling me that I had been sold a computer that really did not suit my needs at all as it was a gaming computer and I definitely did not ask for one. Anyway 2 weeks later I called to see what was happening and was told that they had forgotten to send it. When I got it back the @ symbol would not work so I called them back and was told to call lenova myself. Disgusting service, No knowledge of there products and no tech services provided. It is 2024 you fools actually I'm the fool for buying off you. Go to Harvey Norman as I bought a laptop for my daughter from them and they have full on-site tech support and staff that no there products. To top it off the dark haired Lady at the front desk needs a coarse in customer service as she is the rudest customer service person i have ever delt with and blamed Lenovo for the delay and when i told her that the store manager himself said that they had forgotten to send it she stood there and argued with me that i was wrong and that they did not forget to send it... And in actual fact she wasn't even serving me she just jumped in at me from the side with her comments.
The Good Guys team at Caringbah go out of their way to provide quality customer outcomes. We were in a pinch as we'd moved into a place without a dryer and had a newborn on our hands. I'd phoned ahead as we were going to arrive at the store with only 5 minutes before close. The team expedited a payment link so I could come in and just pick it up. When I arrived, there had been a system error, and the model I wanted wasn't in stock. I was comfortable taking the display model, but the manager stepped in and offered a better model for the same price (usually about $300 difference). The team wanted to be sure they honoured their commitment to provide a dryer and walked away with a quality product, even though it was past closing time. That's top-notch retail service. Will be going back there for future purchases.
My air fryer stopped working after only 6 months. I went to the shop yesterday and got it replaced straight away. The cash register lady was very helpful and helped me take my new air fryer to my car. I’m very happy with the service and I got a Tefal air fryer that does steaming, grilling and air frying. I made a grilled chicken yesterday and the skin was so crispy and tasty that I don’t think I’ll ever buy grilled chicken in a shop. ❤️ love it. Thanks

Don’t even bother. Went in this afternoon to purchase a portable aircon. Stood around with no service. Asked the person at the cash register if they could call someone over. He paged 3 times… still nothing. Asked the guy at the register if he could just help us plug it In to see if it was noisy to which he replied…‘I’m not really qualified In that department’???? Like what department? Finding a power point department???? Stood around a bit longer then I said to the same guy. I guess yous don’t want the sale then huh and walked out. Drove over to Big Lee up the road and got service as soon as we walked in. The sales rep was very help and Informative. So gladly spent our money there instead! Surely with all these bad reviews someone in HO thinks there may be warrant to do something about this stores abilities.
It took a while to get help - which is usually not the case at all, this day they were just understaffed. When we did receive help it was thorough & helpful!
I wouldn’t do any more any kind of business with them they service is absolutely ridiculous they delivery is always too long and they customer service is not god and there’s a damage on any thing they deliver
DO NOT BUY HERE. We have bought from Caringbah location 3 times and everytime the staff are rude and unhelpful, including management. We will definitely be buying from JB Hi Fi, Harvey Norman and Bing Lee just up the road from now on.
Shout out to Kevin the Manager went out of his way to help me purchase a radio for my 93 year old mum who is in respite and very much missing her radio. I needed one that would pick up AM and he was so helpful and kind. Thank you again Kevin and Happy New Year and thank you again
Delivery driver turned up over an hour early, then refused to deliver because it was raining. No truck or van in sight, told me I had to re-book and hung up the phone. Tried to call store, no answer, ended up having to drive there. Was then told my item was back at the warehouse an hour drive away, this was 25 mins after the driver claimed to be outside my house. What a joke. Worst customer service ever, store manager wouldn't even come out to talk to me. Ended up getting a refund after the re-booked delivery was cancelled again! Get your act together Good Guys. Disgraceful.
The female staff member at the till yesterday 27 Dec @ 09.30, needs to remember she works in customer service and as a representative of Good Guys (customer facing). This young lady didn’t once say a please or a thank you during the entire conversation and transaction. I felt she was very rude and disrespectful. I could go on, however I won’t. Get some training done and quickly is my advice.
Would give zero stars if I could. My microwave that I bought in January blew up. It is still under warranty. Took it in early November and as it had passed the “replacement” period I put it in to be inspected and checked as the warranty states. I was told 2-3 weeks. We are now at 6 1/2 weeks waiting, with zero progress made at all. I’ve called numerous times in the last 3 weeks asking for answers as to why it hasn’t even been checked by a service agent yet, to which no-one at the store can answer nor do they “call me back” when they say the will look into it and call me back. Absolutely pathetic customer service.

We had to wait more than 2 weeks for our Bosch oven. You would think that you paid for something very expensive, it would be a priority to be delivered on time after they told us after 10 days. The day of delivery (Friday) they changed the date without telling us. When I phoned them and ask them why they haven’t delivered they apologies and ask if Sunday was ok because Saturday was fully booked. We waited all Sunday at home for the delivery only to realise that they have changed the date without notifying us. Come Monday the delivery guy rocked up with a Hisense mini refrigerator instead of the Bosch oven (This was now a total joke). So he was asked to take the order back. Then constant follow up of phone call during the week to find out when we can expect our delivery. No update or advise that they will prioritize our delivery due to their mistake. So we had to drive in and pick up on Saturday. The message they left on their note is that waiting for the customer to confirm the date of delivery when they never contacted us the day before. No vmail message left or record of their phone calls to our numbers. So much for customer service!
If it's any zero stars, will give it to the good guys in Caringbah ,terrible of everything.
Terrible delivery service by their contractor. Cannot be trusted. They refused to take the old fridge and unbox the new fridge as that was what we paid extra for!! This was for my mother living on her own! Called the store as soon as possible and the staff was super unhelpful. All they said was there was nothing they could do and could only offer someone to come back tomorrow to set it up and fix it...while all the food just sat there and wait for the next day.

We were the only customers in store at the time, when we approached someone for help we were told that someone would be with us soon (as six staff members just stood there chatting). When someone eventually “helped” us any questions we asked were treated with a negative attitude/comment. Staff were not helpful at all and customer service was terrible.

Gold Service Extras Benefits is a scam. Was advertised to receive 3 * $20 in a year. Bought two gold service but only received $20 voucher once instead of 6 times. When I reached out to customer service via email, I was told that the voucher had already expired. No email notifications or SMS notifications was received. Pathetic
Really not interested in selling me anything needed help to find a product said they were out of stock so I asked if they have a similar one and it was all too hard so they obviously are making so much business they don’t have time for me so I’ll take my business elsewhere from now on , one becomes a few a few become alot and that’s disappointing I used to love this place people used to be so helpful now it just sounds like an f u call centre
Do not opt for premium delivery services nor accept their 5 year gold class service. Their delivery and installers are the worst I’ve seen. We had a washing machine replaced and they undone the hoses and drained the water inside the cabinets and cross threaded the tap fitting. Cost me more money to replace the tap and potential water damaged cabinet. Gold class service whipped their hands with the replacement of our rusted 2.5yr old LG 12kg washing machine. Was unable to purchase a 12kg as the price increased $500 so we were forced to purchase a 9kg instead! Absolute joke. Also the good guys Customer service is non existent!
Purchased a fridge with delivery to a 1st floor apartment. 1st delivery attempt they stated they couldn’t deliver it as the required 4 people when the only brought 2. The follow Saturday, the 2nd delivery attempt they brought 2 people again and couldn’t deliver it. Over the phone they stated the fridge was too heavy therefore refused to deliver it.
Beyond pathetic. Travelled to this store from Casula after being told and confirmed, that they had a dishwasher in stock. When we arrived were told it is now discontinued(?!) and they don’t have one, but to pay approx $600 extra for one similar. Spoke to the manager Phil, who said we were wrong, they always had them in stock but it needs to be ordered in. Waited over a month for an update and no one could tell us anything. Not even their head office. I received a text message on Saturday saying order is ready for delivery, and to choose a day for drop off. Got a text message to confirm that appointment was booked. Sat around and waited until 4pm on Monday and called the good guys to check time of delivery. Surprise! It’s not coming today. They don’t have a truck available to come out this direction!! Why let me book it? Why would I receive a confirmation text? Why do you not let your customer know about delays? All staff are useless. Do not waste your time and money.
I returned a laptop for repairs because they refused to replace or refund and it came back damaged and missing a screw. The laptop was sent for repairs again, but it's been more than a month and I still have not any update on the progress. It's closing on two month that I have been without my laptop and my efforts in contacting them through the website and email has been ignored. As my only option I have contacted NSW Fair Trading.

I have purchased two air conditioners for just over $1500. I then paid near $1600 to get the air conditioners installed. On the day I was charged another $710 from the installer. After paying all this money they then went and left all the packaging in my driveway. I have spent thousands of dollars at Caringbah Good Guys, as I have just moved from Qld and had to purchase new items for two houses. I will never use them again. There is no customer service and the prices are exorbitant. If I knew I was going to be charged more money I would have sought my own installer. I contacted the store and the employee stated that sometimes happens. I would not recommend this company.
Very bad customer service not helpful at all
I ordered a new washing machine online and opted for premium delivery. On the day of delivery the driver arrived and couldn't fit the machine in the packaging in our downstairs door. They wouldn't allow my husband to remove the machine from the packaging so they could take it upstairs on the trolley. They ended up leaving it in our garage so we had to carry it up 4 sets of stairs. They then also said because they couldn't take it upstairs they wouldn't be taking our old machine away (part of premium delivery). I tried twice to call the store and was on hold both times for over an hour. When I went into the store to get it sorted out the staff questioned whether I had even called at all and were not going to issue me a refund on the delivery cost until I was able to speak with a manager. They ended up refunding me delivery cost and organising a driver to come pick up the old machine but I now have to take an extra day off work to be home for this.
I spoke to a representative about ordering my washing machine. The rep assured me that I can pickup within 30mins of payment. He sent me an sms link to pay for the washing machine. When I did pay and called the store. They said it most likely will be tomorrow and I have to wait for confirmation that can take up to 24hrs. I was mislead into buying under the pretence of pickup today. That act is poor faith from them.
If I could give zero stars I would, I work six days a weeks so i had to take a day off to be home on the scheduled delivery day, On the delivery day no one from the good guys called to let me know what time my delivery was coming, when I called the store to ask they hung up in my face , when I called back to ask to speak to a manager I was put on hold for 30 minutes and they hung up again and to top things off my delivery never came. It’s safe to say I’ll asking for a refund and will never shop here again.
Worst experience I've ever encountered in an appliance store. I purchased a product that supposedly had 2 left in stock, got the text message straight away saying it's ready out back. Then waited proceeded to wait 45 minutes for nothing. They offered no solution other than a refund. They didn't care. Good for nothing guys. Thanks! -1star
Shocking delivery service! Still waiting five days after due delivery day!
After spending close to 50k over the last year I get an 85” samsung TV delivered fresh out of the box with a line through it with 12 months warranty. Good Guys tell me to deal with Samsung for warranty…Loyalty and customer care factor nil.. don’t risk buying a lemon in a box for 2.5k from Caringbah Good Guys. Samsung confirmed then Good Guys could have honoured a return but chose not to. New Bing Lee up the road is much more caring and worth the change and thats your choice was the response from the great customer service at the good guys it sure is my choice “Bad Guys I’m out”
The service at this store is beyond hopeless. The few times I have come into the store I have not been able to find anyone to assist with product purchases. Most recently I had to bring a product in for warranty repair, which was immediately approved. They advised repair would take 4 weeks. They did not contact me to update me at anytime and after 4 weeks I followed up and after being on hold for more than 15 minutes I spoke to sales staff Mim. She advised she would follow up with the repair. I specifically requested she call me the next day with an update. After not hearing from her for 5 days, I called to follow up again and was put on hold for 15 minutes. Mim advised she had sent a text (I did not receive one). I asked why she didn’t call with and update as I specifically requested her to and she advised that she didn’t remember I asked her to call nor did she have the time to call me. If I could give zero stars for service I totally would.
I went to the Caringbah store today,8/6/23 to buy a toaster. After waiting more than 15 min I asked a lady if there is anyone on the floor to ask some questions. The lady looked around,there was not even 1 person on the floor to help any possible customers. I left the store and I went to Bing Lee and the customer service I received was amazing.
It used to be, but not anymore good enough to come back. Customer service dropped below all marks. Waited 10 minutes in an empty shop to be looked at. Don't have that time to waste, sorry
Can't complain about the customer service.....there wasn't any. I walked into the kitchen section with $4000 in my pocket ready to spend on a new oven, cooktop and other appliances, after waiting for over 15 minutes not one salesperson approached me. There weren't many people in the store, and I saw a couple of salespeople chatting to each other rather than helping customers. I'll be spending my money somewhere else that appreciates my business.
