Can you tell the guy that does the pub quiz to stop shouting on the microphone.Far out!!!

The atmosphere is good and the service is very polite and attentive. However, the Guinness for an Irish pub leaves a lot to be desired. You get a pint with a lot of bubbles on a very small head. Just a pouring technique issue I feel because the taste was ok

Love Norton's..... Staff are always fun to be around. Food and drinks cost seem to be increasing on every visit...... bring back the steak and pint specials.

I had a great time at Norton's on Norton! The atmosphere was fantastic, and the service was excellent — really attentive and friendly staff. The food was good, though I did find it a bit more expensive than other pub meals I’ve had recently. While it didn't quite stand out as much as some of the other meals I’ve enjoyed lately, it was still tasty and satisfying. Overall, a lovely experience and definitely worth a visit!

They don’t know who Luke Coombs is and we’re here all the way from Tamworth and didn’t let us in. Will not be back!!!!

Every time I come here on a Thursday night for my $23 rump steak and $5 drink special I am confronted with a tough decision. I have to decide between chips and salad or mash and veggies. What a dilemma! All I really want are chips and veggies. Justin Hemmes, please give the good people of Leichhardt what they really want 🙏

Sofía was super helpful with her knowledge of the area and suggestions on meals such as genuine person and gave me plenty of local knowledge of the area

Everything you need a pub to be: friendly service, good range, clean and well kept. Haven't tried the food yet but I look forward to when I do

Staple leichardt Irish local. Good priced beers, service usually nice and friendly, lively atmosphere when it's full. Menu is a bit of a hodge podge of bistro standards and attempts to incorporate Irish elements that's all a bit muddled.

Really really impressed. Amazing portion sizes for the onion rings and entrées. Absolutely stunning chicken burger. Quick with the meals and very reasonably priced. Be silly not to give the burgers and onion rings a try

Nice steaks and a good looking place but always packed and more of a Family restaurant than a pub

Nice pub, now a Merivale. $23 steak and beer special. The steak was cooked perfectly, tender and tasty.

Food, doesn’t matter what you order, everything taste like curry powder.

Relaxed friendly vibe, wonderful staff and a damn good steak cooked to perfection, and those polenta chips sprinkled with Celtic sea salt are the bomb

Went to Nortons today for lunch which was so good, made even better by the young female Manager who was so lovely and attentive. Definitely recommend

This review is about a year late I’m sorry but I wanted to show my gratitude. I had an incident where my Uber driver dropped me to this pub by mistake and refused to take me home, I went in the pub to try charge my phone- dressed vibrantly after coming from a concert and feeling vulnerable in an area I was unfamiliar with. The manager (I assume) gave me a charger, glass of water and even changed the duke box for me making sure I had a safe Uber to take me home- not expecting me to buy anything for his hospitality. As a young woman this sort of kindness is unfortunately not common and I hope that employee reads this and knows he made me feel safe late at night alone and lost and how appreciated his kindness was. If I’m ever back in the area I will come for dinner as I was taken aback how quaint this Irish pub is inside a lot of charm and character! 🩵

Great little pub. Food was great and the service good. Plenty of sport on as well.

I had chicken wings and a double vodka soda. I thought the drink was a little expensive. Other people ordered the Schnitzel and stew. The decor is like a traditional pub, which feels cosy.

The Merivale takeover has made the food worse. It's an insult to Leichhardt compared to the quality Merivale establishments in the east. Hemmes, we care: you need to actually try.

Norton St was once so lively and Nortons in Norton is just such an iconic part of leichardt. A classic pub with a rather nice and comfortable seating arrangements.Whats on the menu is wonderful from the burgers to the chicken parmigiana I could not complain and the prices are wonderful . A place you must visit.

Best roast I've ever had food was amazing and well priced and the staff are awesome.

Fabulous bartender, he remembered my drinks order after one time, always had a smile on his face, good banter, cold and cheap beer, what's not to love!?! Great atmosphere, will be back :)

Comfortable and affordable

Good service and killer onion rings. This pub is one of my favourites because they pour Kilkenny draught. Also great vibe for evening or weekend afternoon with cool music.

Decent pint of Guinness.. chicken curry normally pretty good, last time I went there I got like 3 small pieces of chicken

Kids friendly. Great atmosphere. Very reasonable to have eat & drink in Leichhardt.

Went here a couple of times. The food was bad, and every sauce was extra charge. They could not even cook a blue steak. I came here with a friend,she was not impressed. The manager and male staff were checking out my friend like a piece of meat. I don't recommend this place for a first date or even social drinks.

Absolute proper boozer where the show the football . Have Guinness and Kilkenny on tap . Have a spot on sound jukebox setup . Can't ask for more for a proper craic . Top venue and amazing staff .

Maybe the only pub in all of Sydney that won’t accept bookings for trivia - don’t bother showing up on a Wednesday night…

Had a great lunch here on New Year’s Day, along with a pint of Guinness. The service was great - efficient and really friendly. The drinks were good. Reasonable prices too. Would definitely return for food and drinks again.

A lovely shopping mall in Lichardt.

Edit: I'd like to give this venue another thumbs up! We regularly go here but everytime we always get friendly service especially with our kids. The young lady helped us retrieve our kids forks that we left behind the last time we were there. Highly recommend, food is always great. 5 stars for the service, value and food. The staff here are always so friendly and accommodating, especially Demi. We have young kids however we are able to enjoy a pub meal here. A great local for us

Food is consistently good here. Only thing is they tend to send meals out separately, so my pie sat for 10 minutes because I wasn't going to eat until my ladies snitzel came, in saying that, I still loved the pie. The vibes and decor in this place are also great, we went in on a random Wednesday night and all the Irish were there singing folk songs. Loved it. 👍

Staff are always friendly. Been here many times, never once someone has been rude nor unapproachable. Food is great portion and amazing food specials. Staff always catered well for the kids , with colouring books and great portion and affordable menu. Love this place as our local and we regularly bring friends who also are impressed.

A possie of people wandered from Parramatta to the CBD, with the intention of visiting every venue on the titular road itself. But they can pour a beer, which earns them points, however they can't even be bothered to personalise coasters (which is a pretty low bar) and loses them a little - honestly if they were not on the road we would not be here and it took an authoritarian veto to wrangle the mob inside. The toilets were welcome after the nine venues before- three out of five stars, may we never grace thos place again.

Staff are absolutely hopeless. Totally lazy. Much better pubs in the area.
