I Had a very good experience, friendly curtious staff.

It took less than 24 hours for my washing machine to arrive. l was very happy with the fast turn around. From my initial phone call ☎️ it was a seemless experience. I like that they provide a takeaway and removal serice of your old machine

Made a complaint regarding a faulty item in October 2024. It is now January 2025 and no one has bothered to provide me with an outcome. I was told that I would have a response by the second week of January 2025 at the latest, however we are now in week 4 of January and I have followed up numerous times just for them to ignore me. Extremely disappointed and dissatisfied with their customer service.

Ordered premium delivery specifically to have the old fridge removed. The delivery guys said they couldn’t take it away because it wouldn’t fit in their truck (???) and that we should call the good guys for a refund. That was 3 weeks ago and I haven’t been able to get hold of anyone. The fridge we did purchase has been great so far but wish delivery had been better.

You need to hire better and professional delivery service people. They came with my washing machine just to leave it at my door and not even collect my old washing machine for which I paid for. Their delivery people will strategically create issues and pretend as if they have no clue what’s going.

Why put out cards to take to the counter to buy something when you don’t have it in stock??

Fantastic customer service, very friendly, helpful, knowledgeable staff and amazing delivery! Delivery was arranged for the next day and was spot on the earliest time we were told in the 2 hour window. Fridge was installed, old one and new packaging taken away and all for $300 less than Bing Lee wanted to charge for delivery! Very impressed and will definitely shop again.

Paid for premium delivery on a fridge, had to do it myself because your smart arse little truck driver said it was impossible, I'm going to get my $85 back one way or another.

Extremely poor service!!we have been told to wait at home 8:30-10:30am in working days for the refrigerator delivery,we have to take half day annual leave to wait at home, but until 11:40 no one come in and the customer service number is uncontactable! Change your name!you are BAD Guys!

The most useless staff in Australia

Customer service is very bad where team members are busy talking with themselves, don’t care if the customer queue has lined up or not.

We were served by Mark and he was absolutely fantastic. He was so helpful and had such great knowledge about all the products that we were interested in. He couldn’t have made the experience more easier and stressfree. Mark thank you so much. We really appreciate you!

I bought an LG refrigerator from Good Guys Alexandria in April, and today is the third day that the freezer, which broke down after only 7 months, hasn't been repaired. After several calls with Good Guys and the LG service center, they are still telling me I need to wait another two days for the repair. This is really poor support from both of them.

Save yourself the trouble and go somewhere else. We purchased thousands of dollars of large appliances earlier this week and paid premium delivery. Waited at home for 4 hours during our “delivery time” just for them to cancel the delivery and refuse a refund. Kept calling, no one could help us, we asked when they would come back to deliver and they said they didn’t know. This morning, we got a call whilst we were out that the delivery was there waiting for us. We had no correspondence or any idea they would be delivering this morning. Atrocious delivery service.

Take long time to pick up the order

Even we moved from Zetland to Ryde this is the best place to buy appliances. I bought a tv few days ago and I’m very happy with the staff/ customer service. Top! Highly recommended.

Poor after service. Took my vacuum in for repair under warranty, no updates, no return calls and no offer of loan vacuum. 7 weeks and counting……….

Whenever I visit, the staff are always knowledgeable and kind. Especially today, Evan was very helpful, explaining everything thoroughly and helping me find exactly what I was looking for. I’ll definitely come back here when I need more electronics.

The worst of the worst !! … bought a floor stock TV which was the last instore and when we got it home we noticed lines all the way through ! I immediately emailed Hisence and told them of the issue and they said it wasn’t covered. I called the Good Guys Alexandria and they asked me to email them photos of the lines through the screen !! 3 weeks later I still hadn’t heard from the manager after calling them every second day for a response!! ALL they do is pass the buck to someone else. Assistant manager to store manager and back to Sales manager !! Will never ever. EVER set foot in that store again !!! JUST DO THE RIGHT THING BY YOUR CUSTOMERS GOOD GUYS !!!!!!! A thousand dollars just down the drain 😡😡😡

We received a damaged cheese freezer and was replaced with a new product immediately the next day. The staff called Sophia was helpful

3 Staff to busy drinking coffee. Just needed some help to purchase a sound bar.

Very unhelpful and inexperienced staff. I usually go to another store but dropped by the store to have an issue remedied. The staff were unhelpful, unknowledgeable and claimed that they needed their manager to authorised a minor remedy. Since the manager was not present, they told me I had to come back the next day. Then claimed they would send my appliance away for 4-6 weeks. After being messed around by these 2 associates who kept changing what they were saying, I decided against dealing with them and took my appliance to another GG stores. My issue was resolved by this other store within 10 minutes of speaking to a staff member who was not a manager.

Line of 20+ customers waiting to pay. Only 2 cashiers available, multiple staff on the floor doing absolutely nothing. This store (and overall brands) really needs new management.

Not very happy with customer service. Barely no one there to serve us on a eofy weeked. Waited 15 minutes in line to be told they didn’t have the hard drive in stock.

I walked in yesterday, heavily pregnant and carrying a toddler. I ran in to quickly buy a heater. I asked 5 people for some help to grab one and totally dismissed as it wasn't their department. It's basic customer service guys. I was ignored for way too long. I even tried leaving and coming back later. Still no service. Never coming here again. Really bad reflection on your brand.

Terrible experience. Ordered a washing machine which was supposed to arrive within a 2hr window between 14:30 and 16:30. The driver calls me at 13:20 saying he's 10 minutes away. After 30 minutes, I start to call the store to find out where the driver is as I haven't received anymore communication from him. I can't call the number because it keeps saying this number is unavailable" only to find out 2hours later and multiple calls that he's cancelled the delivery due to not finding parking which I RESERVED for him!! Use a different delivery service!"

Idiot costumer service

Worst people in store! It seems like people working in store doesn’t want to do anything other than billing the order. What customers service people say and what in store people say doesn’t match at all. Made a mistake of placing an instore order, very disappointed with the good guys.

Paid $150 for the premium delivery for our LG GS-B655MBK Fridge, the deliverers brought it half-way up our staircase and gave up blocking me and our neighbours in. I had to wait 5 hours to finally get help from my brother, his room mate and my mum to move the new 106kg fridge upstairs into the kitchen and the old 105kg fridge downstairs outside the house by hand without a trolley. I'm never buying a large appliance from them again. If you have a difficult staircase they'll just ditch it in public instead of doing the right thing even when they've the equipment.

poor customer service, The fridge arrived with a deep scratch damage during the delivery. The amount of refund they gave is not comparable with the damaged.

Bought a Samsung side by side fridge and couldn’t be happier. Service was present but unobtrusive. Delivery guys were on time, friendly and moved it easily. The fridge is amazing and so happy we chose this one after shopping around for a few months.

Seriously, this guy knows his stuff inside and out, and he's all about making sure you get exactly what you need. It's not about the sale for him; it's about really hearing you out and matching you up with the perfect product. Do not recommend not one little bit First took me over 2 months to get a cooktop installed with them not turning up on one occasion despite having text confirmation. I took a day off work for nothing. Then paid for warranty only to have someone come out and say the issue is not covered by the warranty. Technician said he had replaced other people’s previously with the same issue but wouldn’t do mine. Proceeded to charge me $165 for a 15 min call-out. Don’t understand how I can pay $180 in warranty but still be charged a call out fee. Spoke to multiple people who said there is nothing they could do. Not great customer service.

Changing my 5-star review that I wrote for this store 3 years ago to a 1-star review based on the experiences we had on Boxing Day and 27 December 2023. Do not shop here, do not order from The Good Guys because you won’t get your order. They lie to you and even their worker Ziggy said that they constantly have troubles with their delivery drivers, verbatim she said they are lazy. They use ANC Couriers. Never again, we waited all day with 2 young kids as our delivery window was at 4-6pm. We recommend that you only use the store to check out the model but purchase your white goods and all small goods and appliances online at Appliances Online’ (owned by Winning Services), to purchase your white goods and small appliances and save the stress and hassle, plus Appliances Online have a next day delivery service guarantee, free removal of old appliances and connection all for FREE, for the same service at The Good Guys you have to pay for their ‘Premium Service’ which they charge $85. We came here on Boxing Day to look specifically for a Bosch washing machine that we had seen online at Appliances Online. We hesitated in purchasing it in store but after 3 guarantees from the store manager and the retail worker that we would 100% receive the washing machine next day and that they would price match to Appliances Online price then we decided to buy it on the spot. What let the good guys down is their ANC Couriers who did not deliver the washing machine, their excuse is that there was no car spots on our street! This is all lies! We had waited all day, counting down from 18 deliveries in the morning down to our delivery being the next delivery at approximately 5pm. When I received the tracker update that they could not deliver it due to no car spots we all ran outside and counted 5 car spots big enough to even fit a Coles truck!!!!! We called to complain and at least Ziggy was helpful and tried to call the delivery person immediately. She tried 3 times and they did not answer. No washing machine with a household of 4 since our old one broke on Christmas morning is dreadful especially since we hesitated in buying when we showed the team that we could buy it online at the store with Appliances Online and get it delivered next day. We ended up refunding and buying it online. Never again! Review 3 years ago:- We had the best customer service experience ever at this particular The Good Guys by Marjia. Highly recommend Marjia who works at the Technology/TV department. Please ask for her if you’re in need of assistance. In fact, my partner and I only went into the store knowing we would NOT get served by any staff (as this has been a consistent experience ever since we went in here 4 years ago looking to buy an air con unit and other times before, hence we end up upstairs at Bing Lee to buy out electronics, white goods and small appliances). However on Friday afternoon it was a totally reversed scenario where we went to Bing Lee first and had the worst customer experience by an arrogant Asian man who actually gave false information about the NSW Fair Trading rules on Warranty. He put us off, really annoyed us, but we were so keen to buy a TV and check out the range before we were planning to buy online via Qantas Store. So we went into The Good Guys knowing we wouldn’t get served as historically the staff that work there are rude, hide so they don’t have to do work when customers came in. But a totally different experience with Marjia on Friday afternoon. We walked out of the store with a brand new Samsung 8K TV, wall mount, free delivery and we purchased a wall mount install service, we bought the 5 year Premium The Good Guys service pack, a new Dyson Purifier Hot & Cold and a clothes dryer stand. We were after a range hood too but they were out of stock. Marjia was able to get us competitive pricing for all our purchased items. Marjia was friendly, patient, knowledgeable, she wasn’t pushy and was able to answer all our questions confidently; from TV and tech questions to question about the 5 year Premium Service Pack.

‏Buying from this shop was the most disappointing experience I had. A year ago, I bought a coffee machine from this store. When I bought it, the seller suggested to buy a gold service along with this machine, If there is a problem with the machine, we will replace it for you. After a year, the machine broke down. Two weeks later, they delivered it to us, and the water tank was cracked and there were several dents on the device. We emailed them, but they didn't respond. After 2 months, it broke again, so we took the device to the store, and they said they would send it back to be fixed. After 1 month, they delivered it to us. We asked for a change, very bad behavior, especially the manager there named James, did not help at all and wasted our time, and finally said that if it breaks for the third time, we will change it.now we see again this coffee machine doesn’t work 😞😞

Genuinely awful service. Had a formal quote placed for an on hold item the web site showed as not being in stock. Was told they would hold it until later that afternoon after they confirmed a unit was available. Came in within a couple of hours to be told they had sold the item. Quote from a services provide for an air conditioner install was more than 4 times what it was shown to be on the site. Avoid like the plague. There are other retailers offering matching deals with much better service and customer care.

Fantastic Customer Service from Snehal, who went above and beyond to answer all of my questions, and work out the best prices, Mary was also excellent, efficient at the counter, along with Sunny who was very professional and friendly, and I am glad to say that after a prior not so great experience last year, the staff on deck now more than make up for it. Congratulations on the awesome staff...

The worst service special from the manager at good guys

To echo what others before me have said, Matthew K is a true professional, both in terms of his customer service and his depth of technical expertise. I honestly won't shop anywhere else because of him. He has helped us navigate a number of whitegood purchases, and his recommendations are second to none! In an era where it's so easy to get bogged down in choice and indecision he makes the process so seamless and easy. Thanks Matthew!!

This company is a scam, stay away, they make you sign dodgy and expensive utilities services promising cash back and what not? Nothing comes through. When you order a electronic device, they cancel delivery on last day saying they don’t have trucks and they will cancel the order when I said I will post a review. Absolutely disgusting behaviour from delivery company used by these guys ( ANZ delivery company)

Delivery date was booked in and scheduled for today tuesday the 28th of November for delivery of a fridge to an elderly relative, he had no contact from the good guys, upon calling them the woman on the phone admitted they had stuffed up with the delivery, and the next available delivery day would be Thursday 30th of November at the earliest, very disappointing and all due to a mistake on their end that should never have occured, best they could offer was a refund of the delivery fee, but it's a whole day wasted waiting around.

This is such a positive and professional store.Salesman Matthew is the best electronic guy I’ve ever meet, gave us advice and we end up with the right washing machine. Delivery also was great. Highly recommended!

Got a good deal. However their loading dock is sooo hard to find and there’s no signs what so ever.

I had an excellent experience with Karlos and Oddeesh’s delivery service. Despite the challenge of delivering to a 3rd-floor location, they handled it with professionalism and a friendly attitude. Terrible delivery service and customer service team. When I buy washing machines, explain everything about stair and others. Sales lady said delivery ppl can do everything for us. But when we got delivery, they said never heard about stair(even it's in receipt). Also when I talked with customer team, their attitude was really bad as well. Sound like dont care about it and it's not my problem. Delivery ppl also lying that they did NOT ask pic for stair and others but customer team said I refused to take a pic. Never ever will use the good guys forever.

We bought a Haier 496L fridge from GoodGuys at Alexandria. It was a very disappointing experience. We live in a unit block. The delivery guys refused to deliver the fridge to our unit because they didn't do stairs. And they don't provide any service that can bring it up, even though I don't mind paying extra! All they can do is to leave the fridge downstairs at the ground floor and let the customer figure out yourself. Very disappointed. We end up return the fridge and bought the same one from BingLee. Hope they can work with a different delivery company.

The worst customer service I’ve ever received. I have gone into the store and also emailed multiple times, and each time I have been redirected, hung up on or ignored with my requests for a refund for a service that was never provided. I would NOT recommend the Good Guys.

Stay away from these guys if you need anything delivered to your apartment. Failed delivery twice apparently they can't find parking. Cancelled my order and went to Bing Lee instead. Had my stuff delivered without any issues at all.

Terrible service.

I called them on Wednesday 24th May and said I have an e-scooter to return, this is my purchase date, it's unopened, can I return it at your store? The female admin member said that would be fine and to bring the receipt. I showed up the same day to the loading dock with my receipt and scooter in the boot of my car. I explained to the warehouse gentleman I had spoken to the front desk and they knew I was returning an e-scooter. He looked at my scooter and said we don't sell that model and he had to speak to his manager. The manager, Sandra, came out to check the scooter and asked for my docket number which I had ready to present. After checking the docket she explained that the item was sent from a different store, which I already knew. I that was the only store that had them at the time of purchase. She said we don't have that scooter in stock at this store anymore so we can't take it. I explained that I called ahead of time to ensure this wouldn't be an issue and the admin member said it was all fine. Sandra then accused me of not providing enough details over the phone to the admin team i.e. the exact model number of the scooter, and that there is NO WAY this scooter is staying at this store. I was completely taken aback by the utter disrespect by this so-called manager and the attitude she was giving to myself, a paying customer. I again explained that I had got the item delivered and did not purchase the item in-store but she was having none of it. She would not even give me any eye contact when I was explaining the situation, she was abrupt with her words and I believe she had no intentions to help me at all for whatever reasons. The store policy says if you purchase from a Good Guys store, you can return to any Good Guys store. This was literally being ignored by this Sandra individual and she treated me with disdain through her absolute disrespect and disgraceful customer service towards a customer. Throughout the conversation she would ridicule me when I misspoke to make it seem like I was discombobulated. She then told me my options were to either return it to the store of purchase, who do not sell ANY e-scooters OR take it to the store that sent it out. Sandra made it very clear that the item could not be returned at the Alexandria store for any reason. I asked for her name and got back into the car and drove off. I cannot believe that a manager employed by the Good Guys could be as narcissistic as Sandra is. Absolute disgraceful customer service, I will not be back.
