Walked in straight away and was greeted very nicely and seated straight away, We got served very quickly and had our food delivered hot and fresh, Jake serving in the dinning room was a very nice bloke that helped us out a lot and got everything we needed thankyou very much to him

Saturday’s in the front Bar at the Hub Tavern is a great atmosphere. Jo organising the punters club and triple crown makes it more enjoyable.

I hated to change my review but last 2 times the food has really gone down hill. The lasagna was burnt and solid at the bottom. Next time the pasta was supposed to have chili. No chili and tasted like tinned pasta.... Whatever changed. Change it back... Please . Staff are so friendly. Food is amazing. Chicken avocado is superb.

I stumbled upon this venue after moving south 2 years ago. The drink prices are pretty standard and on par with other pubs (they do a great espresso martini for $15), wedges are my go-to, staff are friendly and will sometimes strike up conversation when they arent busy. Patrons are super friendly and welcoming and i have made some lasting friendships at this place. One thing i do wish though is that they bring back the indoor playground or build one outside. Front bar has a pool table and a free jukebox, themed karaoke nights are always fun. Recommend!!

Food was ok, not the greatest.

What a disappointment the Hub was tonight, we ordered $30 burgers to only receive burnt burgers with a pork schnitzel and coleslaw slapped together and cold fries. Once I complained about the dish, one staff member was very apologetic and offered a different meal which was a schnitzel and salad which was much better. Obviously the chef was having a bad day or nobody cared about the quality of food exiting the kitchen.

Food was terrible. Half of the mains came out before everyone else. Those mains were eaten and then the remaining mains and ENTRE came out. Staff did not care. Chips were burnt to a crisp and so were the onion rings.

Great food, service and atmosphere. Wait staff were friendly and attentive without being intrusive. Dishes were perfectly prepared, generous in size, and reasonably priced. Enjoyable evening. Will be back!

My experience at the Aberfoyle Hub Tavern was amazing, the staff were extremely helpful and were easy to talk to. The lights and Christmas decorations made the environment cozy and comfortable to dine in. The food was incredible, most likely one of the best meals I have had in a while and the serving sizes were large and delicious. I would absolutely encourage everyone to go to the Aberfoyle Hub Tavern for dinner.

Had 3 caesar salads at the hub tav over the last 6 weeks - give it a 10/10! Plenty of squid and a lush salad. Can fully recommend it here

Aberfoyle Tavern was a big disappointment. The service was terrible—staff seemed uninterested, and we waited ages for weak, watered-down drinks. The whole place smelled like mold and even asbestos, making the experience uncomfortable and unsettling. Management could not care less, showing no effort to improve the environment or customer experience. The atmosphere was unwelcoming, with no sense of customer service. I expected a good time but left feeling let down and annoyed. Save your money and time—there are far better places around with good service, quality drinks, and a clean, cared-for environment. Don't recommend

New menu has been launched (October 2024) couldn't believe the hike in prices! We are very regular customers here and are extremely disappointed. Some classic favourites no longer on the menu. We will now be going elsewhere unfortunately. Staff are great though if that helps.

Unfortunately after coming here on a weekly basis, they have changed the menu only slightly but increased the prices yet again. Good friendly staff and service but will now look elsewhere to eat. Quite disappointing really.

We dined on a Thursday and it was pretty quiet which was nice. Very easy to order using Me&U, drinks arrived promptly and the food came out not long after. Schnitzels were tasty, no complaints at all. We'll be back to try some different meals soon.

A bit tired - much like The Hub generally. Parking isn't as easy as expected, bar service had issues following instructions and the food was acceptable not exceptional.

Food was delicious and staff were super friendly and helpful.

Awful service. Medium rare steak was blue, charred on one side to a crisp and barely cooked on the other. No steak knife provided, but to be frank it was so rare that a spoon would have sufficed. Salad was an embarrassing blend of lettuce chunks, grated carrot and onion not even mixed ( just plonked on top of each other in the side bowl). Chips were awesome and perfectly cooked/salted. Starter served with the mains and was told we couldn't have the sauce we ordered for our chicken wings once it was already on our table. Waiting staff totally absent for the whole dismal experience. Thankfully I had the most beautiful woman in the world sitting with me, but other than that it was regrettable.

Roast of the day was delicious! Roast pork. Kids had chicken burgers and hubby had a steak. We all left full and happy. Staff were friendly and attentive. Empty dishes were cleared away quickly. Good wine selection.

Just had an amazing meal! Keep your chef! The hub Tavern and the Warradale hotel are my two favourite places for a schnitty now! It's hard to find good food and good chefs!

The staff are always friendly, food is served really quick and it's really good pub food, and the drinks were icy cold. Never too noisy in the restaurant which is a bonus.

Worst Salt and Pepper squid I've ever had. I could of made a better plate from Coles. Service was good but food is over priced.

Our family has been here 4 or 4 times in the past few months and the service and food are exceptional. Even when things don’t quite go right they go out of their way to help. First class and highly recommended.

Chose the stuffed chicken breast off the specials menu and was blown away. It was delicious! Stuffed with spinach and feta and wrapped in prosciutto, laid on a bed of pumpkin purée and accompanied by roast potatoes and broccolini. You must try it while you can! Really hoping they add this to the regular menu…

Very good food every single visit! Well mannered staff, very helpful and kind. Always having a laugh and great chat at this pub. Defiantly recommend to anyone who hasn't been you will not regret it at all I have been going here for years now and it just gets better everytime!

Took the wife on a date at the local. Chef Stacey catered to our requests. The food was amazing , cooked to perfection and so delicious. Felt extra special as she brought it out herself. The bar staff are warm, friendly and welcoming. The atmosphere relaxed and definitely a homely feel. Will be back!

Food was lovely much improved from our last visit which was a few of years ago. Beautiful renovations. Shocked to see the playground no longer there but it certinally opens up the space. Value for money on the meals big portions. I was unable to finish it all. Only down side was our son did not receive his dessert. We waited 20minutes after finishing our main meals, longer since our son had finished his, then asked another 10 minutes and it still not appearing. So we left without having it.

The Hub Tavern we are now regulars because the staff are fantastic, great food with different specials for different nights. We don’t live close but the Hub is certainly worth the drive for a great experience and food. A special mention of Ethan who goes above and beyond for customer service.

Lovely quite evening

Went in for lunch with my family at 2pm on a Sunday and the kitchen was closed, all they could offer were hot chips, what a joke. Be open 12-3pm, pretty sure that’s the industry standard. Also, the range of beers is pretty bad, it only really caters to your average meat head, I definitely know why I haven’t been to the Hub Tavern in a while - I grew up in Aberfoyle. It has potential but they really need to lift their game, get with the times and stop being such a nanna pub.

Second visit for a social lunch ... chose this venue because we were extremely impressed on the first visit! Everything you would expect, good food, service, broad menu, smart decor and ample parking. Staff go that extra mile to please. Well worth a visit .. or two!

Ethan who was working behind the bar and as a server was nothing short of excellent. He was attentive, prompt and handled everything in such a polite and lovely manner. Nothing was too much trouble. The food was lovely, and it was a nice quiet place to enjoy some lunch out of the cold. Would definitely recommend, and kudos to Ethan. I hope his bosses realise how lucky they are!
