A very Irish styled pub in the middle of the CBD. Great staff, drink selection and food menu.
The life music is just unreal, the people you meet are always unreal quality.

Myself and friends went for lunch in PJ's last week and it was brilliant. Lucy was working in the restaurant, she was very friendly and made sure we were looked after. Great food and customer service, and the live music is great, will definitely be back.
Lovely pub with good food, but the biggest highlight is this band @stevesduo (<- their insta), they are very talented guys, with beautiful voices ❤️ I always go there to enjoy their energetic music and spend beautiful time together with my friends.
Excellent and respectful service from very friendly staff. I would recommend this place for anyone wanting a tasty and affordable meal.

Came into pj obriens on Sunday. Had a roast and it was unreal, will definitely be recommending. Special shoutout to the welsh girl kaitlin behind the bar she could not be more attentive and friendly. Will definitely be returning
Bad wifi
Grabbed a quick bite on the way to a concert and the meal was delivered quickly to the table (and they were quite busy) hot and of a decent quality. If I was based in Sydney ild head back again for sure!
A decent boozer with a good atmosphere. The beer selection is decent if not a bit standard chain pub. No off-piste beers available.

아주 개쩌는 공간입니다. 전형적인 영국 펍스러운 느낌. 큰 화면의 축구경기와 정신 한개도없는 분위기. 하루마무리하며 맥주 때리기에 더없는 곳이군요

Great atmosphere and drinks not too expensive. Friendly staff and good service. Music was excellent too.
Pie was great, however 3 little pieces of Soda bread as a side costing $9. Is just wrong.
Stopped in for a pint and a bite to eat not knowing how beautiful this pub is when you enter. I would have never expected it from the road. The pint was perfect and I had the porter steak which was better than any steak I've had at a steakhouse for at least 3 years. The only thing that wasn't perfect was the service but it's an Australian thing that you have to go up to the bar to place your order and stand in line. The girl at the bar looked pretty un impressed with her lot in life but the couple of young fellas that where serviing as well seemed a bit more human. Overall I had a great lunch and would highly recommend a stop in here to anyone while in Sydney.
Guinness, food and the staff are all excellent. I highly recommend the stew or Guinness pie, you won't be disappointed.
Very busy. Authentic Irish pub. Service wasn't overly friendly but they were busy during lunch. Food came quickly enough and was delicious.

The Hamburger was subpar a little dry and honestly not even on the same level as Applebees which isn’t saying much. When I go to a good Irish pub I expect more and got less.
Irish pubs are always great, PJObrians is a classic!!! Food is pretty good but the environment is great!! St Paddy's day is the best time to go there, it is a ton of fun!
Never eaten here, so my review is purely for the good beers and great entertainment at night. It's always a great atmosphere when the band is on. They serve up a good Guinness here. Great crowd and vibe too.
Firstly I had asked for a Thursday special. The lady serving asked me which beer I wanted, but never mentioned the beer that was included in the special. I ended up paying $44 instead of $28. When I raised this with another lady serving in the bar I was told that there was nothing she could do as the beer had already been poured. To top it all up the food I ordered came burnt out.

Excellent location prior to the theatre visit.... Share plates were great and good range of drinks available ..will be back!
Good pub but had the boxing deafeningly loud which forced us to leave. Makes us sound old but it was actually painful. Service was great, food was food. Probably isolated incident due to Tyson fight.

Food was aweful, how you can screw up a steak sandwich I have no idea. The bloke working behind the bar could not be any less customer service if he tried. Think he needs a new job. Avoid this dive.

Fantastic pub. Great atmosphere, clientelle are so friendly - especially on Melbourne Cup Day 🤣. Cod meal yum, generous serving (tip: ask for the curry sauce). The band on Melbourne Cup day were FABULOUS!!! We visit each time we travel to Sydney. One of our favourites. If Melbourne Cup is always that fun, I think we will make it a yearly tradition!
Decent attempt at an Irish bar, Guinness nothing like in Ireland! Not sure how they claim it is best in Sydney!! They need to clean their lines regularly to improve taste.
