Staff need to learn to unlock the doors when the business opens. This is 101 basic yet I need to call them to ask them to open the doors.

Wife recently went to Nepal. Saw The Momo’s with a schooner of beer for 15 bucks. Food sparkled! Was so impressed, we ordered The chicken chow mein. Pub was clean and the staff were very helpful. Gave us the option of steamed or fried momos and gave us correct times as to how long we would wait for our meal. Recommended

Close to Railway station, friendly service. Good range of drinks and snacks.

We had a fabulous end of year lunch in the bistro area. Food was just delicious and very reasonably priced. All, hotel, bistro and Bar staff were so helpful and courteous from beginning to end, no request was too much. Thankyou Hornsby Railway Hotel!

Worst experience ever😣. Never recommend for the drinkers. The security guy and the bar guy, both were very rude and impolite even we showed them our Id’s.

We recently held a party at Infusion at the Hornsby Railway Hotel. It was absolutely great! Brad managed everything beautifully. He was so helpful and made the night a success. James at the bar was awesome, so was security. We had pizzas which were delicious. Thank you for a wonderful night.

I went here today for the first time for something to eat. The food was amazing. Very cheap. Kids meals were a very good size, kids burger was cooled perfectly. The salmon was cooked amazing and the mash was beautiful. Highly recommend. I will be back

Worst security guards in Sydney..harass girls and kick the guys out ..threatened me cause I interrupted the big security guard swearing..and using the most disgusting language I’ve heard..and because i intervened he threatened to bash me Because he couldn’t use his brain if he had one..they think they own the joint..I witnessed one girl getting touched..I told him off..seedy joint people

Good tucker. Nice staff. It would be great if stepping of a train but I was working near by. Impressed after my first feed so ate there every lunch for a week. Try the steak. 250g 24bucks. Have fun 👍

Very surprised at the quality of my meal. I haven't been there for some time as the food was very average. My crispy skin salmon was excellent. Brocollini fresh crisp.

Restaurant: many people have told us that the food here is very good. I must admit we put off coming here because we thought pub food would not be a great option. However the mushroom risotto and the prawn linguine we ordered were both very good. The serving size was on the smallish side but for the price is was very good value. The service is down to earth friendly and attentive.

Thank you to your security staff for providing me with some good quality entertainment at 2am after my brothel visit at Miss Heaven. The staff at your venue made a dog’s breakfast of escorting a group of Virat Kohli’s from the venue.

Dinner was very prompt. I'm impressed that a single chef cooked and served so many of us at the same time. Most unusual to have a Nepalese chef, so I just had to try something Nepalese.

Great food, decent people quiet and friendly

!! Absolutely humiliated!! I am permanently disabled and cannot walk without the aid of crutches. As I was walking home from Hornsby station I was unable to make it home due to a lot of pain in my leg and decided to rest at the Hornsby railway hotel". Within 3 minutes I was approached by a manager with two security standing behind him and I was told to leave the premises. When I asked what I have done wrong he refused to answer my question. Instead he told me that I must take it up with "the owner" Brad Halton. What pub in Australia kicks out a disabled person? (within 3 minutes) All I wanted to do was sit down. Very weird...."

For a quiet sit down on Wednesday night at the pokies placing 20 in the machine and pulling out 400. I’ll write a review and give them 5 stars. Thank you old pub.

I have been here at the bistro a few times and I have always loved the Nepali food here. My experience is strictly from the point of view of the Nepali food perspective. Chef Ram is an amazingly warm person who puts his heart out in the food he serves. The Momos here are actually better than what you may get at an actual Nepali restaurant. I find it less noisier than RSL. Have gone here a few times and will go again.

The best goat curry in the country. Great staff. Thoroughly recommend it.

Great pub, not too noisy so you can talk. Food is fabulous and well priced compared with other pubs in the area. Have made it our fortnightly place to catch up with friends.

Went here for a Sunday lunch. Food quality was very good, service was a little slow. Basic salt and pepper was not in shakers it was supplied in single serv sachets which was disappointing. Staff were friendly . Coffee was not to my taste at all. Overall was a positive meal I'd have given it 4 from 5 stars if option was offered here.

Have been having lunch here for quite a few weeks now and the food is fantastic. Reason for only 3 stars after yesterday's lunch was that we asked for the wine of the month" a Pinot Griso but then got sold a bottle that was $10.00 dearer. Don't advertise a wine of the month and then just sell us something else. Not good customer relations. Lost us for lunch now."

Lovely guy in charge, but he doesn't cook now, and the new chef was disappointing. Nepal curry was very salty.

The Service and professional conduct from the young gentleman on the bar last night 10/2/23 was commendable and he is an asset to the hotel. After I missed my connecting train home I lugged my suitcase, was tired after work and felt unsafe loitering around a deserted train station for around 3 hrs post midnight for next train. Upon enquiring about a room for the night I was told regretfully that there's no availability once the duty manager leaves for the day. Once again thanks to the young man who offered me a kind service, a feeling of safety and a makes a mean espresso! It'd be great if the duty manager might see fit to design a procedure following his finish time for such circumstances that surely couldn't be too uncommon given the location?

Good place for a beer close to the station. Seemed to be a bit dead in the mid afternoon but it was cool inside and the beers flowed okay. Not much in choice for spirits, no Barcardi but the prices seem on par with other pubs, maybe a bit cheaper.

We had our work christmas party here 2 wks ago. Had some drinks (bar lady was amazing she's a sweetie) then bought some wine at the bottlo as we headed out for dinner. There was about 20 of us. A few hrs later returned with my friends. All 3 got in and the security at the door checked my ID and told me to check in. The QR code wouldn't scan on my phone. Suddenly another security guy (Tall with brown/reddish hair+beard) walks out and says 'You're not allowed to come here you had drinks here before & bought drinks at the bottlo'. Since when is having pre-drinks or buying drinks there a discrimination to not be allowed in?? THERE WAS NO SIGN in your facility or bottle shop that said this. And btw we weren't drunk we went out for dinner. I said to the security-you're racist towards your own kind. Then he started swearing at me and kicked my 3 friends out. The reason I said this to him is because I felt discriminated against. I was the only brown person and my 3 friends were caucasian. Very disappointed with this security's behaviour. So disrespectful and rude++ The other 2 security guys just stood there and said nothing. Will never come back here again. Very rude and disgusting customer service..

No good ...... The VB wasn't the best . First sip I thought of returning it and asking if they would pour me another . But I would have to walk past biff again ? So I drunk horrible beer . It wasn't even a low carb beer it didn't even have orange in it .

Embarrassing by bar 3 We had a birthday function last night date 26sep I was the one of the guest in that function. One of your woman staff I guess she is a bar tender she was very rude with me. After finish dinner their was no glass to drink water. While my friend ask for glass she wasnot happy So i drank water by bottle which was in my table it was half bottle of water. while I was drinking water that woman came and grap bottle from my hand saying no no no and showing her anger throw all the water in sink. I understand I did wrong drinking wate from bottle but the way see did its really embarrassing infront of my people. If I can't drink water from bottle she should give me a glass if she not happy to doing this job why she is for there? but she didn't may be it is not big issue for you but for me it' s really big think about my side plz Regard satya

Very average food, and very pricy for a pub meal. Bar staff looked miserable! $4.50 for a bottle coke. Highly not recommended!

Great food, great manager, great overall service.

Staff do not know what bars are open, Manager very rude, no training given by hotel management, very poor in these days obviously doing very well and do not require patronage. Spend your money elsewhere.

Old school pub that has been tastefully modernised and updated. Conveniently located right next to Hornsby station on the ‘old’ side of Hornsby, it’s generally quiet and a relaxing place to have a drink or meal. The food at the bistro is excellent.

Terrific schnitzel with chips and Gravy and salad. Staff are friendly
