The most terrible customer service. I put a repair in to be sent off & they found it still in their back room 3 weeks later not sent off. I’m getting every single person telling me something different. I still haven’t had the issue resolved as they keep going in circles & missing the whole point. I’m waiting for longer for device to be repaired when it was never sent off in the first place. The manager tells me it’s a good learning experience for her team to never make that mistake again but doesn’t help me in the process. I get nowhere with this store it has been the worst customer service ever.

Local stuff provided an amazing service several times.

Julian and the team in Mobile provide the best prices and best customer service in all of JB Hi Fi Sydney Metro. I live and work closer to 4 JB HI Fi but I go deliberately to EastGardens because of the service I received. They don’t have TV but I still can get it from them. Can’t fault the team .

Never have I had a better in-store shopping experience! Had to pop in to JB Eastgardens today after purchasing something online for my kids at Christmas. Turned out I’d made an error and accidentally purchased something online that was not fit for purpose. For the first time in history I was organised and bought the items a month in advance. Problem was I didn’t realise until the kids opened them on Christmas morning. I immediately contacted online support and was told an exchange needed to be performed in store. Slight issue was I was overseas and not returning until now. (You can see the picture I’m painting is that most of this is my issue). I went to do the exchange but the product to exchange to has lost its special price and was not ~50% more. After a little discussion and and review of my support ticket they agreed to honour the price. I left the store a very happy customer. Massive thank you and special mentions go to Maria, Phoebe, Di and store management for working together to achieve the smile on my face. I’ll definitely be back.

Today, I went to pick up an online order. The staff asked for my order number. I showed her my phone screen, but she rudely said, “Read it for me.” Then, she took my items out and placed them on the table without saying anything. I asked, “That’s it?” and only then did she respond with “yes.” It was a terrible experience, but out of courtesy, I still said, “Have a good day.”

Selection less than other JB and the service is all over the place

I do not recommend anyone to buy from this store. I bought 3 devices from this store and all of them had problems the next day. One watch had a problem only 2 hours after purchase and there was no exchange or refund. The manager told me that I could not exchange it because the box was opened. Let me know how to use a watch without opening the box it came in? The rude manager. All of the devices had problems and none of them were fixed even the day after purchase!!!! I DO NOT RECOMMEND IT!!!

Went in to get a fossil smart watch. Online store mentioned that the store had it in stock, went to the store and was informed by the staff they just have 1 piece in stock but they can’t find it🫤

Staff very helpful, but it can get very busy during lunch time. Good variety of stock and store is clean.

I’ve shopped here for years and the lack of customer service is astounding, every time I go in no one wants to greet you or acknowledge you’re there, except the security guard 🤣 I’ve even tested it just for fun. I stayed looking around for 20 minutes then asked someone for help and they said it’s not their department and they’ll get someone to help. Guess what? No one came to my rescue 🥲 Even the people at the cashier are always rude and unfriendly. There’s only a few staff members that are nice and helpful the rest look like they’re just waiting for the store to close and they keep going to the back to bludge pretending to be busy. Oh and the older man that used to be in charge of the music and movies section he’s the only staff that’s been around that actually helps you and is friendly he deserves a raise. The rest need more training.

Worst customer service I ever had .. I bundle ps5 with 2 controller and 6 games cost me $1300 online last night . And on the morning I see EB games sale cheaper different $11 . I just ask can you help to price match the console pls . And she like really rude keep telling me you can’t price match online item , so I had right to return it then . She act like rude lady like I’m not paying the item . FIRST OF ALL I’m the customer i have right to ask anything and return it whatever I want .. You can’t keep teaching and telling me I can’t do that online shop . I let it go 2-3 times when you telling me, but even after we finish this purchase this Lady keep yapping to tell me I can’t do price match.. If i can’t do it ,so don’t do it ! JUST PROCESS MY REFUND ! Really bad customer service I ever had !

Nikhil was very knowledgeable about headphones and speakers. He helped me reach a conclusion on which one would be the best for me.

Came in for a suggestion over 3G/4G networks to sort out my phone. Nikhil sorted me out and was such a great help. Was very knowledgeable, give this bloke a promotion ✌️

Both Maria and Franck went to great lengths in assisting me with my purchase of an external hard drive, researching the best option for my needs. They're an asset to JB Hi-Fi and deserve to be acknowledged for their excellent customer service skills.

I went in to look for computers for my boyfriend, and Di was incredibly helpful, providing us with great knowledge about all the options. The staff were really lovely! I'll definitely be back 😊

I bought my laptop 9 month ago from JBHiFi east garden and got some issue..So I call asus and discuss about the issue, then asus told me to deliver it because is still under warranty..So I left my laptop to JbHiFi as the place that I purchase the laptop on 18 June 2024..Is already been a week, when I check the update in the apps it write down the supplier has not choose to share the details of my repair..So i call JbHiFi eastgarden and they told me that my laptop still there and still not deliver to Asus because they are busy at the moment..Is really bad service..I will never purchase anything from this JBHiFi anymore even is closer to my place..

Went in today to purchase a new mobile phone, after the lack of customer service, left the store without a phone.

Came to JBHiFi Eastgardens to purchase a PS5, I was approached within a small amount of time by a gentleman named Daniel. He was incredibly helpful and his passion for gaming definitely made for a very genuine experience. Extremely happy with my experience here

The old women at the front counter has some flexibility issues, I had a coupon but she refused to add it in because it would take extra effort.

Rude cashier staff. I was exchanging an item from my order pickup that was not available. They asked me to pay the difference. I had to think about it. But she makes a comment it is only $2" to her colleague. I didn't want to make a scene. So paid it. But in fact they also calculate it wrong."

My charger was faulty after purchase and sent back for repairs, took 4 months and nothing happened and said nothing worked. I tried again and they say they would replace charger which took 3 months and the charger they gave me did not fit. do not purchase from jbhifi, go to separate store.

Expensive. Alot of product staff not all are the most polite.

I shop here quite often as its close to home. The tech guys at the front are always nice and very helpful, however the staff at the back counter are useless and extremely rude. They spend their time chatting with each other and act annoyed when we ask question. The other day it seemed like I interrupted their Star wars conversation and one of them rolled their eyes at me when I asked a few questions regarding an SD card. Very unprofessional.

Scammers, bought a portable charger from there and never works regardless of how much it’s charged. Don’t buy from here !!

Bought a clock radio. Later I discovered it was FM only. I wanted AM/FM. I returned the product and they gave me a a full refund. I’ll certainly shop there again.

Great service at Cashier by the guy at the counter furthest from the door (didn't have a chance to get a name). Then I got my friend's Telstra account sorted (and also mine) by SIENNA professionally & efficiently....exceptional customer service

Checked on a product availability at the Eastgardens branch. When I arrived and asked for the product I was informed that they had no stock. They checked the website which stated that they had stock but when they checked their stock records and their shelves there was none. I called their phone number to inform them, they apologised for my inconvenience and said they would send me the product at a price reduced to cover the delivery cost.

Great service & helpful staff, Thomas in particular really helped me out with a faulty phone issue that was resolved beyond my expectations! His professionalism & light banter made the whole process super breezy.

2019: Me and my friends were told to leave our bags at the front of the store meanwhile other people weren't told to put their bags at the front, what a joke and completely unnecessary. Edit : 2023 Due to high theft rates in hindsight I see the reason for this but it doesn't make it lawfull or right to assume every teenager in school uniform is a thief there are normal kids out there. Service seems lackluster still, employees mostly talk amongst themselves and didn't serve my friend I was browsing with until we asked for help. Therefore rating will remain a 1 star.

We had a negative experience in your store. As we were not able to pre order a phone !!! Staff turned us away rude and said we can't help you!!!! You need to go online in order to buy it !!! Staff is just talking each other and not helping the customers. What's the point to open the store if you can't be able to help the customers!!!!.

Staff prefers chatting with coworkers because the item I am buying probably won't get them any commission. They even looked annoyed when I just asked how to pay.

Nice, sterile atmosphere. Hypnotically Caucasian. The Ue Booms are strikingly overpriced and at the same time very easy to steal: another of God's little tests.

It’s been a rough couple of years on the store from Covid to price rise on utility and mortgage, job have always been freindly and respectful, I have had no problem with a faulty iPad they replaced it , I like the store it’s cool , ☮️☮️☮️

The customer service at this venue is next-level. The customer service rep, Jed, was as charasmatic as he was helpful. He helped me find the perfect keyboard - the very keyboard I am writing this review with.

I had a product that I bought a good year and a bit ago that I didn’t have receipts for! Just had the original box. A guy named Jed sorted me out, pulled the bill up from the system, got me a refund and also gave me a good deal on a new product. What a legend! Hassle free and was sorted out in 10 mins.

I have purchased afew items from them. (Namely a monitor, keyboard mouse combo and a headset.) The keyboard and mouse I bought had some issues and was under warranty. When I went to have it replaced, the process was smooth and easy. Staff were very helpful. I'll definitely be back to buy more stuff if I need to, they have given me the peace of mind that the issues won't be brushed off/ignored.

I was genuinely surprised with the layout of the store! Inside it's small but all items are displayed and there are always sale's on different products everyday. The Customer Service is not that good and their store employees NEED to be more available to their customers.
