Asked a young staff today (27/2/24) about a few basic arduino components and he confidently told me that they were out of stock, even though after being pressed a little he found both of them quite easily. Almost wasted many days for me. Otherwise good

I was lucky, there was a person with a sense of what is to help someone.

I regularly come here as I will always get knowledgeable and honest staff, sometimes at the cost of selling their own products!

Easy to find products, when you can't, the staff were quick to help.

Be sure about what you're buying because the store doesn't refund for change of mind despite the website policy saying they will. Apparently he had too many refunds that day already and that was an issue for me attempting to refund my <$10 item.

Helpful staffs and easy dealing. They also have a few parking spots right outside of the entrance.

The guy with the American/Canadian Accent is an absolute legend actually helped me out with a solution for the RCA cable for my cable. Good Work Mate

Exceptional advice and customer service - from Gavin, the store manager - over a very minor dollar value electrical fitting. But the place is small and difficult to find, best approached from the south: it's a blue building, with a tiny street entrance and parking for 3 cars, about 50 metres north of the Epsom Rd turnoff on Botany Rd, going north. It's difficult to see from the main road with busy traffic all around you.

First time going to this store and was pleasantly surprised. There is car parking just inside for a few vehicles as Botany Road as it is sometimes difficult to park at times, but if there are no spaces, you can go to the back streets and walk around There is plenty of stock with a large variety of items you would probably need. I could spend ages looking around here 😀 it's my new happy place to shop at

The young staff are lovely and are great at understanding what we needed and only reccomended us to products that they themselves would use. The older aged staff are disgustingly creepy and only want to sell you cheap and terrible quality products without actually understanding what you need and only want to close a sale. Only reccomend you to deal with the young staff and avoid the older ones like the plague.

Helpful. I ordered incorrect parts at another store (my mistake) but they happily organised a swap for me for the right parts.

I went here 2 times and both times they couldn’t help me! Just wanted to buy a simple bulb ! They don’t know about their job anything! Wasted my time ! I’ll never go there again

Staff are rude as here. They were busy giving one of their friends their staff discount instead of helping me plan my project. I told whatever her name is working behind the counter that i wanted to be able to solder my project and she gave me a solderless bread board. I was also prepared to buy a soldering iron until i was unceremoniously shoved out the door at closing time! I will be back for a refund

There was only one guy there today (7 June 23). But he was great. Offered a good solution that I hadn’t thought of. Excellent service!

Pathetic customer service completely useless was not interested in helping me in any way was only interested in putting stock away that was out the back would not recommend this store even with a up to 40%discount very unhelpful

Waiting 15mins while others served that are regulars. Store manager complaining about understaffed does explain wait but why put friends before a new customer. Parking is shocking as well.

Whatever happened to Jaycar? This place used to be great well manned and professionally managed by staff members who showed genuine interest in delivering customer service and assisting. I went there for a battery for my car remote control. One told me they don't sell batteries for remotes. I insisted he's wrong, as this is were I always buy from and have it installed for me. He didn't like hearing what I had to say, and rudely responded he'll call someone else over, who will tell me the same thing. He shouted out to another salesman asking him 'if they sell this battery he was holding in his hand' to which he got a response 'indeed we do'. The other salesman got the battery and took it to the counter. Paying for it, I asked if he could 'please replace the battery in the remote', as this is what has been done previously. He responded it's not part of my job, I can't do that, can't be responsible for opening your remote and replacing the battery. A simple screw of the tiny screwdriver was difficult to be done. Seems they've had a change in staff multiple times, with each replacement of staff, worse than the other. Some Training in Customer Service Skills, is in dire need for the crew at this store for revival of its business.

went in today for a bluetooth dongle.. so i could plag in to my tv and listen to it on my bluetooth headphones.... they were trying to sell me something for $80...where i got a $30 one what works which they told me it wasn't going to work..then paying for the item (phone ring and he picks it up) like hello i'm in the store it should be me first befor the phone call...poor customer services...will never go back to this place...three guys in there need to smartin up

The staff at the Alexandria branch are pretty ordinary.. one of them had to ask what the item i purchased was (a relay) another staff member said they didnt have an item ..i had to show them their own website to find the product, which was in stock...

Great store and staff are very helpful. They always seem happy to offer advice. Yes there is parking onsite, however spaces are limited so keep this in mind if coming during busy times.

Much bigger store than Gore Hill. Had everything I needed.

Was initially dubious (pun intended) about a store that according to its name appeared to sell electronic goods to people that smoke weed and drive cars…. I can confirm that this is not the case here… but fear not You can still go to everyone’s favourite ‘smoko bong boys electro racers’ if that’s what you’re looking for, bless. This store however was professional in every way, well-stocked, immaculately laid out & clean and generally comfortable. Has everything for every nerd and the son/father… They service the amateur nerd who just needs a pack of triple As for his pocket calculator…. all the way through to the world class pro Elon musk nerd Just picking up spare parts for his DeLorean. I purchased a magnifying glass with a flashlight in it … For self defence only. I’ve never felt so safe and smart. Thank you Jaycar Electronics

It's great that this store had off-street parking from Botany Rd. Very handy. The range here is always pretty good and I found everything I wanted, which is not my normal experience at other stores.

Jaycar used to be a hobby place and was cheap - its still way better than JB but its changed its retail consumer approach and its pricing. An old favuorite that may be changing so enjoy as long as it lasts. Parking is great but only a few spots- better than nothing.

Inner city suburbs, great store. very limited parking spot. Has everything that you need in electrical wires.Without the massive price tags.

Gavin, the Duty Manager, was super helpful in helping me fix a power problem with an old Xbox charger. Turns out it was just a bent pin, so easily fixed. Thanks Gavin

She knew i had interests in 3D printers and spoke to me more about what they had to offer and many of her incredible examples in store. She was very informative and knowledgable. Needed a Universal Power Supply to use with a number of older laptops. The staff could not have been more helpful. Had the right product readily to hand, expert advice, and a good price. Highly Recommended!

I just spoke with Hubert at ALEXANDRIA Jaycar and even though they didn't have the part I was looking for. He made a few suggestions on where I might have luck in finding them elsewhere. Extremely polite and helpful. I am an employer and this is exactly the type of attitude and attention to detail that I would like and expect from any of my employees. Definitely recommend.
