A pubs pub, good range of craft beer and solids spirits range. Easy going staff and heritage decor

Monday night so a little quiet, top ales however! A good selection from some of Oz's craft brewers.

Amazing options for beers and the starters are amazing. My go to pub with friends.

Cool historic pub with a great menu, QR code ordering and friendly service.

I thoroughly enjoyed that said everyone within earshot at my table

Very friendly pub, excellent food and a wide and varied range of quality beers. While we were there a guided pub walk of The Rocks began which looked extremely popular.

Lovely pub with a great range of craft keg beers including some nice darker beers, good was great too.

Good craft beers, nice atmosphere, heritage building

Good range of reasonably priced food and an interesting drinks list. Enjoyable lunch with friends

The last Saturday night we were here a few years ago this place was packed. Not so last Saturday night. The upstairs was fairly empty. Maybe having more than 1 serving on the bar would help with promoting larger numbers. Our food was fine, especially my tofu dish. The feel of the place stays the same - a pub harking back to the history of The Rocks. Maybe they could patch up the settees!

Awesome steak and burgers. Nice vibe and music. Will definitely come back soon. Thank you

Harts it a wonderful pub; really hits the notes. The food is levels about typical pub food, with the cheeseburger up there amongst Sydney’s best. Humble, welcoming and inviting throw-back vibes, it’s definitely a great place to come for a drink from its wide range of delicious beers on tap, and sample from a menu that has only wins. Gorgeous pub. Great time always. Thanks Harts, you guys are legends.

Always great food & ales

Best damn burger in Sydney. This yank from Tampa Bay Florida loved it, top notch. The beer was top brew from a down under brewery. Highly recommended! Cheers to my new mates here at Hart's! It was so good that we came back again. Great beer selection. Food is fresh and tasty. Service was excellent, the atmosphere was old school rustic pub. Loved the quotes on the walls.

If I could give this place a minus I would. The woman working on Wednesday the 22nd January was rude and extremely obnoxious. And then the food we ordered was just as bad. I asked for sauce to try and give it some flavor and the woman serving looked at me horrified I would even ask and said “yeah next to the bar” love if you don’t want to do hospitality then I’m sure there are other jobs where you do not have to serve people.

Great pub with lively vibes! Plenty of TVs and a great selection of beers.

Great lunch and selection of beers

Taylor at the the bar with his excellent service deserves a medal

Had an absolutely fabulous day, enjoying drinks and food, very relaxed and comfortable lounges, watching the cricket, just perfect.

Old quite pub with heaps of character, really tasty food and a great selection of tap beers. Fish tacos and parma highly recommended.

the family and I were out and about in the Sydney CBD. looking for a lunch down the Circular Quay end of town. but as residents of this fine city we didn’t want anything too touristy. after not many minutes of googling we decided that’s Harts Pub will host us this fine sunny afternoon. what an outstanding establishment. old school finishes with a cracking tap beer selection. but lunch was the main element. and wow. and wow. each of the burgers presented was tip top. stacked high. with chips to spare. while there was plenty of talk about each burger. I had the Aussie Burger (as is on the menu) Soft bun. juicy smash burger. fresh salads. and that sauce. they should bottle that stuff. will be back. and have already recommended it to others. keep up the great work. thanks.

We got the caesar salad, and it was okay. The dressing was more like a vinegarette rather than a creamy sauce, which my friend and I weren't a fan of, which is okay, just not the vibe we were looking for! The passionfruit and guava sour was bomb though, would come for that crisp.

The burgers are delicious, and the schnitzel is decent. However, the premises feel quite outdated.

Great hidden gem, with indoor and outdoor seating, ample tables and a good vibe.

The internals of this place are cramped and the smell of the toilet makes its presence known in the rooms nearby. If you can get over that - The food is great along with the service.

The pub admin made an effort to fit us in even though it was a late booking. Cheers guys

Nice decent pub in the Rocks area

Great pub so convenient. Good food and craft beers.

An old rustic pub in the rock that has an amazing beer selection to go with good pub grub!

Had a work function here. The room" we had upstairs was a thoroughfare between other rooms and was extremely crowded. I felt for the staff trying to squeeze through to take meals to people in various locations. Food was great and they catered well to vegans as well as meat eaters. Not enough people working the bar on such a busy night meant a long wait for drinks but the staff were lovely and did their best"

The Manager messed up our online order and brought out the wrong order. We then had to repay a full order to get what we originally wanted. So we were forced to pay double to fix their mistake.

Fun for Tuesday night trivia. Good selection of beers.

We went here for our work Christmas party. It was great vibes and amazing service. Everything was quite affordable and was able to fit our whole crew.

A real pub in the heart of the rocks. Leaves all the well touristed ones far behind.

Food was good. Portion sizes were adequate. Tasteful. Freshly cooked. Atmosphere was dull though, crowded with staff and guests finding it hard to move around. Limited bar options. Staff seemed unenthusiastic to work there. Ordering app is cool.

Great pub in the city. Decently priced beer.

Wonderful food. Ask the bar tender to chose the beer for you. It will be perfect

Great beer, even better bacon burger

Ordinary at best

Great pub

Multiple level pub, plenty of outdoor seating with large umbrella if it rains (live DJ playing on a fri night) variety of beer, great food (Korean fried chicken was too chilli, remove some of the flakes)

Good beers and pub food.

Very expensive beers , food okay , but only just. Dissapointing overall.

We brought our overseas friends with their two kids for dinner and trivia. They absolutely loved it. Thank you for a great evening. I recommend trivia and do book a table. As it does get packed! The food was nice. Typically pub food. The choices on tap was great. Overall had a great evening. We look forward to bringing friends for future trivia events.

Needs a revamp... you cant keep riding the late office worker and dumb tourist $$$ Up your game team for the sake of tourism

The cheese burger is really good

A great little pub with lovely staff and yummy food.

The Missus and I got into Sydney in the late afternoon, and by the time we got checked in and started thinking about dinner, we discovered that pretty much everywhere was booked out. But Harts Pub saved the night! Tanya secured a table for us over the phone and we walked over from the hotel. Harts is a fine pub in a historical building, and had a great time there. The beer selection is fantastic (all micro-brews, yum!) -- The Missus went with the mid-strength lager from Milton Common brewery and I opted for the Moon Dust Stout from Mountain Culture Beer Co. Food-wise, we went with the prawn spring rolls for our starter, very tasty. She ordered the firecracker chicken salad and was very happy with it (especially because the chicken was grilled, not fried). I had the chicken parmi, and I was very happy with it (especially because of the piece of double-smoked ham on top of the chicken breast). If you're in The Rocks and find yourself in need of a great meal and great beers, head over to Harts. You will be glad that you did.

Great beer, footy on tele and great food everything you want in a pub

Beautiful place to catch up Well family oriented Has been there anytime goes to Sydney Managment is nice always .

Stopped off for lunch and a beer. Popcorn chicken was amazing!

Try the Pickled Monkey - fantastic beer. Plenty more to choose from too. We called in a few times, the most recent was after the Sydney marathon, and it was heaving. We had to sit outside on a cold and blustery day but eventually a table became free upstairs for our group of 6. Fortunately, because they were so busy there was a long wait for the food we ordered and it didn't arrive until we were back inside and two pints of Pickled Monkey in. Although they were flat out, there was no let up in quality. Tommy's Burger, Veggie, 2 x Ruben, and a Down Under Burger, as well as calamari.

Great food, beers, and amazing staff. What’s not to like!

Love the atmosphere, food is great and awesome beer selection

Really interesting old building, more like an old house than a pub. Food on the pricey side while not the best quality. Chicken schnitzel was over fried and not so succulent.

We recently booked a group lunch @ Harts Pub for 25 with a pre-order menu. Nothing was too much trouble for the team and we had an excellent time. My group all really enjoyed the food. I had the cheeseburger and rate it 10/10. We also enjoyed a few of the craft beers. I’m sure we will be back. Great job to the Harts Team!

I love this place so much! Definitely recommend going. The food is absolutely delicious especially the fries. I also love the drinks. The staff is pretty friendly. They can work a little on the bathrooms otherwise its absolutely fantastic. The food and the service is a solid 10!

Wonderful staff and amazing burgers - definitely worth a visit. Highly recommend!

Un bel pub dove assaggiare vari tipi di birra in un ambiente accogliente ed elegante. I piatti proposti sino molto gustosi ed abbondanti.

The best cheeseburger! Matched with the Pickled Monkey Pale Ale it is a real treat. Great to see a Sydney icon going well. Trivia night was on too, but stayed out of that.

We hosted a lively and fun Payments Pub Quiz (Worlds First) in Harts. The event staff and staff on the night were great. The prize point worked, as we worked within our pre-set budgets.

Worth every penny. Tama behind the bar was informative, friendly and up for a laugh. We ordered the popcorn chicken, crispy squid and fish tacos. The spice mix on the squid and chicken was to die for. So incredibly mouth watering. I can not recommend this place enough for a solid feed (large portions) and historical atmosphere.

The food here is way overpriced for pub grub

What a nice quaint establishment.. great atmosphere and definitely some great drinks.. Service staff were all very friendly.

Visiting from Qld. Friendly vibe, great food - exceeded expectations. Not overpriced.

We'd booked a table for 8 people for a farewell lunch a week in advance, only to be told upon arrival that there was an issue with the kitchen and they couldn't serve food. Harts had known about the issue since that morning. We then had to scramble around to find another place that could accommodate us last minute. It's really disappointing that Harts didn't think it was necessary to contact me earlier that morning to inform me about the kitchen issue, so we could have time to make other plans. Terrible/non-existent customer service.

Brought a large group of clients to lunch and we were looked after by staff really well. Tanya organised is in a private room and we had a good time. Our clients were pleased with the food and the lunch overall. Thanks for accommodating us and looking after us!

Great pub with great Aussie made beers. Food is amazing and staff are very friendly and helpful

Came for the Tuesday Trivia Night and it was amazing. The game master was engaging and the entire 5 rounds were exciting. Booking experience was seamless, very prompt responses via email and convenient way to confirm booking, too. Happy hour is from 4:30-6:30 which is great, $8 wine, $9 spirits and $9-10 beer. Food was good, too.

I'd much rather keep this pub a secret but that's not fair on them!! Great atmosphere, good wines and beers, great service, quality food. Always enjoy myself when I get the chance to meet friends there. 😀

I went recently for the first time at Harts Pub and had a good experience. Food was very good. I ordered Parmy. It was not as big as I would expect for the price, but it was delicious. It was quite busy during happy hour, but service was fast and efficient. I would definitely be back.

Cozy place. Love the ambiance. Enjoyed the rooftop.

Every one in our group enjoyed the experience in a real pup

A nice pub atmosphere

Nice spot for a drink. A few good craft beers on tap and in the fridge. I didn’t explore the building but it seems like they have multiple rooms across a few floors. Reasonable prices. Quite part of Sydney CBD. Didn’t try the food this time.

Good

We've been a few times and the food is delicious, service is prompt, and Tommy makes a fantastic burger! He even was willing to make a previous special that was no longer on the menu because we were craving it.
