Great pub. Was there to watch the Super Bowl and the pub had a great vibe and even had on a great American food promotion to go with the Super Bowl theme. I loved the Tater tots.

I didn't mind the place but it seems to be going down hill. Service is not that good. Food is average for the price and atmosphere is quite dull, I think Friday it picks up a bit with live music but otherwise I find it quite dead!

Best in dee why. A must visit for local or outsider. Good food, good drinks and great vibe. What else is required for a good evening or afternoon. I visit almost every week and can't wait to get back again.

We had a great experience after an afternoon at the beach. Ordered the cheese burger and lamb salad. Kids got pizza, slider burgers & nuggets. All were a great hit with everyone. Food came out quickly and all staff were friendly from the counter to the ones bringing out the food. Loved the mood lighting atmosphere, decor and Christmas decorations too! Felt really cosy. Couldn't fault our experience today. Thank you!

Friends and I came in for a drink, Arrived half an hour before last drinks, and were met with service that made us feel as though we were a major inconvenience to the venue. We came in to sit and chat for 2 rounds of drinks. The girl serving us couldn’t change her expression from disgusted to see us and both her and the other bartender on shift failed to let us know when last drinks were. When we went to order a second drink each at 9:32pm, we were told we couldn’t get another round, even though we were not told that drinks weren’t served after 9:30pm and we had ordered our first one atleast 20 minutes before, so we could have ordered earlier if notified effectively. Would advise more customer service training for your staff in future to avoid losing money and customers from unpleasant and unprofessional experiences.

I celebrated my birthday last night with friends and family, and the Manager in charge provided exceptional service. The food was also delicious, highly recommended.

No food til 530pm we went for happy hour fri at 4pm

Very nice and clean location for a meet up. Food is great! They have musicians performing sometimes. Public transport is your best bet.

Had my Daughters 21st there last night. The function room was fantastic. There are no hire fees and no minimum spends. We did pre order function food and it all came out fresh and delicious and was really well priced and plentiful. The staff were amazing. What ever we asked for - which wasn’t much, they were happy to help out. Everyone was friendly and nice. If you’re looking for a function space this is hard to go past. Absolutely wonderful staff with no negativity at all. Staff really make a place buzz and they did that. Everyone had a wonderful time.

Great food, but the atmosphere is lacking and the lighting is very dim. I saw some people using there phone torch to read the menu.

Doesn’t matter whether you’re with friends, colleagues or by yourself - this place is one of the far too few ones on the Northern Beaches worth going to. In my 3 years living “up the road” with friends in Headland Rd, I’d pop in here b4 groceries, or simply after a “bad work day”. Always had a good experience. Popped in recently (surprise scheduling change) & it was still great - excellent staff, inexpensive wines & customers who are still obviously “there to be happy”. It’s a fab spot in Dee Why (a place which could do with many more) 👍🏼✅🤩

How stingy can one place be !!! Food very average, a tiny burger for 21 dollars no chips ! The cost of living has hit the Dee why hotel, my friends were served tiny portions the price was disgusting. Sad but will not go back. One big disappointment!!! Save your money for a nice restaurant.

$16 pizzas on Saturday is a bargain! I can really recommend the white Salsiccia e tartufo pizza, really yummie!

Just came here as we had to kill an hour and it turned out to be a great discovery. Have been back since. Friendly staff and good service and yummy snacks.

We had a disappointing experience at this restaurant recently. As regulars, we weren’t aware of their new menu, which led to us accidentally receiving the wrong food. When we asked to have it corrected, the manager, a short woman, was incredibly rude, and this was the second time she treated us poorly. Once we finally received the correct order, my partner and I both ended up with severe food poisoning. It was so bad that I had to take my partner to the hospital. We’re very disappointed with the service and quality of food, especially given our previous loyalty to this establishment. We are not going back there.

Second visit: I cannot agree with the business pricing model, for instance, the Trufflenator Burger is $27 and the presentation/value for morning is now simply ripping your customers off and the chips, smaller than a fist full was $5. I don’t recommend this business as a value for money venue any more. Cool hotel with a great food menu, drinks pricing needs a serious review if you compare local competition. Pouring a beer of the same product should reflect similar pricing as this is not a challenging task requiring a higher price.

Average food and over priced. A year later: still terrible service stood waiting at the bar someone else was waiting too we both walked out, I looked at 4 tenders nothing not even a nod. No wonder no one comes here anymore. I never thought the one the ripped down from the 90s would be so much better

The kitchen refused to change Mash to Chips, and add a salad instead of chips to our 2 orders. The prices at the bar are very over rated and the place was so cold!!

Good food menu, good drinks selection. One of the better pubs in the area.

I have never had a truffle burger before. No idea what it should taste like. All I got was a 'meal' that was full of fat, carbohydrates and salt. No vegetables were used at all. Mediocre. And the bar staff have no idea how to make a lemon, lime and bitters.

Good food at right price and a great place to just kick back and enjoy the company of friends. Plenty of parking in basement car park and elevator to the lobby, so easy.
