Don’t bother coming here if you have driven up to Sydney in a car. The hotel offers very limited parking- first in first serve, and if you have to park elsewhere it is $30 a day. Would have booked somewhere else if we had known as that is an added $120 on our stay. Thanks Perouse Randwick!

Our recent 2 night stay at Perouse Randwick was wonderful. Staff were always friendly, polite and helpful. They were just lovely greeting our little grand daughter who was having the first of a number of operations at the Children's Hospital. A few biscuits with the tea and coffee in rooms would add a special touch. Thank you again for a great stay! We will definitely be back!

A Relaxing Stay at Perouse Lodge! Our stay at Perouse Lodge was exactly what we needed during a difficult time. The staff went above and beyond to fit us in at the last minute and even upgraded our room with no hassle—such thoughtful service! The lodge’s location near Sydney Children’s Hospital was incredibly convenient, and the peaceful setting provided a welcome escape. Our best memory in Sydney was after a short drive to La Perouse. We enjoyed ice cream by the water, a refreshing paddle, and a relaxing walk along the beach. It was the perfect way to take a break and recharge. Thank you, Sydney Lodges, for making our trip so comfortable and memorable!

Very user friendly hotel

Customer service is exceptional. Walking distance to fabulous restaurants, Prince of Wales Hospital and Coogee beach. Two minute walk to light rail to go into Circular Quay. Amazing location!

Perouse was a good option. On expedia it says they have parking but there are only 5 spots and first in first serve situation. So you end up paying another $60 in parking that is two blocks away - not ideal in the pouring like we experienced. No hate to Perouse i just wish the advertising was more explicit and shared the parking cost.

We had a wonderful stay here. Did not really know Sydney, but son recommended the suburb Randwick. Room was super clean, lovely bathroom and small fridge in the room. Everything at your front door. Plenty of places to eat, shopping, beach. Close to tram. Next door to The Royal Hotel. We even had a little balcony, which was a bonus. Great amenities. Kitchen area and laundry area are very user friendly, with plenty of room to sit down. Would definitely stay here again.

We stayed in a King Room which was spacious, and had a great shower! Our room came with a small balcony which was great for breakfast in the sun, and the Perouse is located to an awesome range of food outlets, offering anything from fresh bread and croissants to a cultural array of restaurants. This is a great economical facility with 5 star hotel service. The staff were exceptional throughout our stay, and I want to say thank you to all for making our stay easy and comfortable. I’m looking forward to returning in the future.

The room was so tiny I couldn’t even take any pictures inside! Great engineering though making everything fit (especially in the bathroom) but still functional. Great location, so many great restaurants nearby and a short walk to Coogee Beach (then take the bus back because it’s uphill lol!)

Great location and great price point! Lovely and helpful staff. Have stayed here a few times now. Would just make sure to book the Queen or the King rooms though otherwise it is a bit too ~cosy.

Great location - close to light rail, UNSW, Randwick racecourse and hospitals - not to mention awesome places to eat and the Ritz cinema. We booked two rooms - and the twin room was extremely spacious. Both rooms modern and clean and the staff were friendly and helpful. The bed in the queen room was a little springy and could do with replacing not too far into the future - as well as the pillows. Overall and excellent stay!

I was visiting friends after moving to Victoria 2 years ago. The accommodation is such a great location central to absolutely everything - lightrail, The Spot, beaches and restaurants - perfect.

I cant speak more highly of the fantastic friendly staff at Perouse Lodge. The room was clean and had everything we required. There was also a fully equiped kitchen and laundry. We had originally booked for St.Marks Lodge and was a bit dubious of the change, however, Perouse Lodge was excellent, close to shops, restaurants, bus stops and the beach. We shall definitely stay there again. Thank you to all the staff for a wonderful stay in Sydney from Peta and Mark.

Absolutely great location to the light rail, multiple restaurants, and grocery stores. It's definitely affordable and easy to get around Sydney from here. Highly recommended.

This is my go to place when in Sydney. It is conveniently located close to UNSW, shopping and dining out. And, it's quiet. It has a large, share kitchen, laundry facilities and friendly reception. What more could you want?

Absolutely perfect home away from home whilst a member of our family was in Prince of Wales hospital. Accommodation was clean, as described, warm, inviting and excellent value.

Amazing staff, warm and friendly welcome, they worked super hard for an early checkin at the last minute (arrived ahead of time) helped with directions, best places to eat/drink, local amenities etc. Instructions for accessing the building outside of the manned hours were spot on and worked a charm. ||Rooms have digial access which was great, wifi hiccup free, plenty of power outlets, lighting well positioned, everything worked perfectly every time. Spotlessly clean rooms and bathoom (large with a rain head shower) beds were so comfortable, pillows perfect, linen stain free, lovely little balcony with table and chairs which was unexpected but super handy - perfect place for morning coffee.

I had to stay here for my Mum's Funeral and I had one of The King Size Room's it was Amazing the room's are really lovely, fresh and clean. The staff are great. And, there's a massive bathroom... I love the shower... They even have a hair-dryer, Kitchen and a Laundry room for me to Iron my clothes for my mum's Funeral... It's really good because your close to everything shops, cafe's, restaurants, movies and pub's... Next door is a 24hr service station so you can go next door and get supplies which is handy... Thanks for a lovely stay whenever I need to stay in The Eastern Suburbs I'll definitely be staying there...

The biggest letdown was they did not come through on changing linens, clearing bins after two nights of our five night stay. I am alright with whatever policy they have with regards to housekeeping, etc. However, I specifically checked on 31 May (Friday) morning and the front desk assured me that there will be a turnaround service for linens that day. I came back at 9 pm to find my bins uncleared, towels not replaced and beds not made. Just really not like when they've told me that it would be. I am solo parenting with two boys and have to wait till Saturday morning to find out why as there is a number to call after 8 pm (only for emergencies and is chargeable). Other than that, location is great. 3 min walk to the light rail. There is a coffee machine at the lobby, and all things considered a very decent value for money hotel in Randwick.

Very clean and well maintained. Comfortable bed and pillows. It is a semi self-service hotel. No breakfast provided but they have a kitchen, laundry area and even iron and board that you can use. Best part is that it is near the light rail station and bus stops. |You can walk a few meters to Belmore road where restaurants and stores are. On the left side are quaint restaurants that serve good food. Polite and helpful staff. Good value.

I have stayed at the Sydney Lodges several times now. The rooms are consistently clean and neat, the location of all three properties is excellent - close to beach, public transport and great coffee. The staff are friendly and helpful. Can't recommend this place highly enough

Great spot in Randwick, close to light railway, local bars and cafes and a 25 minute stroll to Coogee beach. Well located and good to have on-site laundry, ironing and communal kitchen if required. Staff nice and helpful, hotel neat and clean with handy digital keyless access.

Amazing location!! We stayed here for a short weekend get away and we were not disappointed! The room was clean and the amenities of having a kitchen to use was a great surprise! The location which is right in the hub of randwick made our stay so enjoyable and convenient having the rail and restaurants right at our fingertips, we will definitely be back!

Friendly customer service and clean room. Very convenient location. The room however was not really well sound proofed. Would not recommend rooms on the ground floor, as the staff room/cleaner storage rooms are on the same floor, and it can be loud in the afternoon. Generally a good experience.

I'm finding the Perouse Lodge in Randwick the best value when staying in the greater Sydney area for its amenities, excellent location and proximity to shops and public transportation, and the friendliness of the online and on-site staff. It's my preferred place I'll stay when in the area.

Amazing experience

We booked here as our daugher was having an operating at Prince of Wales Private. Very convenient location, close to the hospital and restaurants. However we were not impressed with the service and the room. I stayed here with our 4 months old daughter, we got woken up by loud talking noise in the corridor followed by slamming door sound at 12am. Rooms were obviously not sound proof, cleaningness of room were average. “Do not disturb sign” was not available in the room. What really annoyed us was the next morning, 7:48am I was about to take my baby to visit her sister at the hospital. Just before we walked out the front concierge lady asked if we were checking out, I said to her not yet as I wanted to check with my husband who is staying at the hospital overnight to come back to freshen up. Instead of trying to make any type of conversation she rudely replied “we are fully occupied we need the rooms by 10am”. After spending so much time at the hospital I didn’t not have the patience to deal with the rude staff. So I quickly called my husband and confirmed that he would like to come back for a quick shower. So I proceeded to the exit, however the lift to the ground had a chain on it, so I had to carry the pram down the stairs by myself. The lady staff did not offer to help or took the chain off the lift for us but instead talking to her colleague.

Quick visit to theatre at university, well located accommodation, that is value clean and comfortable

Nice location to move around. The room is good for couple but I found the air-conditioning is little bit low during hot weather even setup low temperature. The stuff was nice and well behaved.

Great location for Ritz, Races or hospital No parking whatsoever which is a massive let down and makes it very stressful. The cleaner opened the door at 8 50 and woke us up after a huge night celebrating which was not appropriate, then so noisy in the hall way was no chance of a sleep in ...before our trip home I'd rather Coggee and only stayed to go to Ritz ,rather be at beach and get a taxi up the hill ....won't be back
