Lachie was one of the nicest employees I've ever had at the store. he assisted me with finding pens and new schoolbooks and now I am acing all of my classes thanks to his assistance. Lachie has been an absolute lifesaver!😍😍

I waited over 40 minutes just to get a photo printed at Bondi junction store 1 person working across the counter, serving a person who had no idea what he was printing and had no awareness of what he was doing 3 staff just doing nothing Thank god there not in charge of anything important You think they would be good at this lol Save your time and find somewhere else

Unfriendly store, not to mention unhelpful.

Literally the slowest and most unhelpful place I have ever been in my life.

Worst experience at an office works. Tried two machines and they were both broken. The line took over 30 minutes just to print something that was a 1 minute job. Safe to say I’m not going back to that one

The staff at the print + create are very friendly and service oriented. It's all relative but compared to more dedicated printing places like kwikcopy, a much more timely service turnaround time Cheers

Print and create que line is awfully long. System whereby they ask for an order at a time and then wait for the printing for an individual customer is very inefficient. They printed the versions incorrectly, I also opened up the folder and it came apart, they informed me I should have waited to “let it set”, but didn’t tell me that at the start. All of this is fine enough, but the customer service was terrible, no instruction or helpful information shared. Mostly I think as the staff were so busy.

I’m from Aotearoa (NZ) and when I walk into these Officeworks stores in Sydney Im so lost 😂 and I reckon it’s got to do with the layout? If only the owners had watched Dear Modern on You tube (IYKYK 😂) they could make the place feng shui .. people look like they in a good mood when they outside the building but that quickly changes when they set foot inside. They go from zen to agitated in 10 seconds…they also have people wanting to que for no reason.. I was standing in between two of those weighted flag banners and people kept wanting to queue with me and I wasn’t trying to start a queue 😂 I was waiting for my photos to be dispensed and tried to stay out of the way. Random but I try not to be a weiner about it lol so remodel the store and it will bring better vibes and culture. I gave 3 star’s because the 2 officeworkers who did my photos gave me some tips on how to navigate the “print and create” kiosk. Thanks boys

Great for back to school with all the resources needed.- however do not buy tech from there. Laptops extremely overpriced for their spec, saw a Chromebook for like 4 times MSRP/average price. Ryzen Athlon laptops sold for 1000 is a crime. for Office and gaming mice go up to 300$, could buy the worlds best artesian carbon fibre mouse (Finalmouse Ultralight X) for that price. Same with keyboards and other.

Good place to pick up some stationary or a new phone. They do a 5% price beat too, which saves a longer trip to other venues.

20 people wanting to print things, with 2 people doing the printers. 10th time here. Always like this.

Absolute disgrace of a company. I was assured online of a price match. I told the company representative that I would call back in a little bit and just wanted to try the chair once more before purchasing it. I did so, and then when I called back they gave me ever excuse under the sun why I could not have that price. Total run around for nothing. Would not let me discuss it with a manager either. Terrible customer service!

I’ve been to this store a number of times now and all experiences have been terrible. On seperate occasions, I’ve experienced long wait lines for printing (over an hour wait), no staff in the tech section (I was there for at least an hour looking for the right thing) and unhelpful service at the front desk, which took 40+ mins out of my day to go to Alexandria and get the help I needed there instead. I will definitely not be back 😂 👎🏻

Got to balance out the reviews here because Griffin @ Bondi junction officeworks handled my case with generosity, flexibility and pragmatism, helping me brainstorm a few solutions for my lamination problem and executed on it, despite the busyness of it being the Friday before Christmas

I have to say, I was very worried after reading the reviews, but I just called the Print Counter and my call was answered within 3 mins by a really friendly team member. He checked on my order and it was ready to collect. They lose a star as I hadn't been notifed and had to call to check. But overall happy with the service!

I was sold a used Logitech vertical mouse I returned it with receipt for refund. Duty manager argued. I told him it was a breach of Australian consumer law and asked him to escalate to store manager, only then did they refund with no apology. Terrible customer service. Head office review the employment of the duty manager and the store manager. This was a breach of Australian consumer law. Avoid at all costs.

Excellent staff service but always grossly understaffed in the printing section - especially in the afternoons. How can management not see that a customer who waits 30 to 60 minutes to be served will sooner or later look for a replacement service

Had a first and bad experience here and will be the last one with this store. Couple of days ago, i bought an apple ipad 10th gen online with 2 hours delivery. It turned out that the staff sent me a wrong gen, 9th one whilist ,i order the 10 th gen. Lucky that ,i checked on before i onbox. I called on the store cellphone multiple times but nobody pick up the phone. I messaged on the phone numbers from which i got the infos about my order processing. It didn't help me . After very next day, i travelled there and told one of the satff (Man ) but didn't hear me out .But one of the staff a lady listened but was pointing to the return policy but it's not like i was there to return the things .After a while , another staff said he can provide me a same ipad that i ordered and went inside to get however made me wait for 15 mins and finally i went out with the correct device. Staff were not showing any apology or nothing. The packaging looked so unusal for the one he gave me as well . So weird . Gonna avoid this store at any cost in the future. Sharing this as this could help others not to have similar experience .

Ordered online. They delivered the wrong items. After several days of trying, finally managed to get their attention and have them, issue a return note. a week later they still havent collected the wrong items and delivered the correct items. Trying to get through to them to sort it out is an Orwellian nightmare. There are no humans there.

Unskilled staff, staff took 25 mins just to serve 3 customers…..worst experience ever

Every time I come here there is some issue. Recently I tried to get a passport photo taken and printed, only to be told their equipment did not work. I was told to go to the post office.... it was a Sunday.... Today I needed to urgently get a bunch of photos printed but thought I better call first to make sure things were working. I called six times without anyone picking up the phone. Six times. I thought I would try my luck and drove over - only to walk in and see signs up saying the photo printers were not working. I now see in the reviews here that they just do not pick up their phone. I cannot rely on this particular Officeworks to be functional or helpful so will go elsewhere in the future.

Whilst under a lot of pressure with a very lean staffing profile, staff bent over backwards to help me solve problems (I have a disability). Jazzy in particular is an amazing person at following through and doing his absolute best to leave the customer satisfied. Just brilliant!

I ordered 250 stickers for my business and showed up to collect them and was told they were 'lost'. After spending a day on the design, waiting weeks for the printing and taking time out to go and pick them up, to say I was disappointed was an understatement. Avoid at all costs, unless you want their incompetency to disrupt your life. There is far better options for printing services out there

Have been trying to call all morning to get some information that is not found on your website, someone keeps picking up and not talking on the other end, then hanging up- and it’s not my phone, tried one of your other branches, they responded to my questions

High quality items for a reasonable price!

Print store staff are useless. Most are unable to do simple print jobs - you're told to wait for the one guy who can actually help you. Train your staff!

Extremely poor customer service. I tried to purchase 2 x Samsung mobile phones with the Price Beat Guarantee on 30/10/24. The store person of Asian appearance with long black hair repeatedly refused to honour their own store policy despite the product satisfying all 4 conditions as listed on the website. Each time this staff member (claimed to be the store manager), finds a reason to reject the price beat, I had to find an alternate Australian retailer, only for this store person to make outlandish claims of these retailer’s “overseas sourcing” of the Samsung phones. When asked to point out on their website, where this request does not satisfy their policy, the staff member made up her own reasons citing her husband’s opinions on overseas stock. The fact is this model is heavily discounted by multiple Australian retailers. This staff member has a particularly poor attitude, and strange need of unnecessary confrontation. If this person is truly the store manager, Officeworks should review its training at their Bondi store. Avoid this store at all costs - extremely limited selection of products anyways.

I bought a removable hard drive. The floor staff were really helpful and the checkout staff were friendly and efficient.

In my experience, the customer service is always helpful. The only thing I would not recommend is getting your passport photos taken here. Passport applications are submitted directly at AusPost. The feedback from AusPost staff was that photos taken at Officeworks are almost always rejected due to incorrect lighting. I highly suggest to get them taken at AusPost as they understand the requirements by The Department of Foreign Affairs.

Worst worst worst service ever!!!!! I have waited 40 minutes because the staff told me that he could help me with ordering online and paying at store, but he totally forgot it. When he came back to the counter he told me that he couldn't do it because it was not available online, which he could told me earlier and I wouldn't have to wait. It means he didn't even check the system when I asked him at very first time. Terrible!!!! What a jerk!!!! I should have asked his name.

It's easy to get frustrated with printing, long lines when minimal staff. But very happy with Brian. I went to return an $18 keyboard mouse due to a fault where t would write tx and X would write tx. Took it to Bondi. They tested and there was no fault. I tried everything at home and couldn't fix the issue. Brian made a call that I wasn't lying and swapped it over. My new keyboard is not faulty. Thank you for trusting that I know computers Brian. I don't think all the staff would have believed me. Great store and reasonable staff!

Amazing service from Lachlan!!!

Saikat was amazing and helped me in my time of need, I had to print 500 pages for the next day, he fixed the toner, moved my order to another printer all between 5-6pm. And he is doing the guilltoning Thank you Saikat I will never forget you!!!!

The most clueless customer service in NSW. The staff is completely inexperienced and has no idea what they're doing. It's beyond frustrating!

I m all for hiring young people but please onboard them and manage them. The photo printing corner is a waste of time and better do it with the competition on line. Avoid Saturdays at lunch time in particular.

Some people are kind and have good customer service, lower then the majority. Hopefully will see majority eith good customer service and kind very very very very soon.

Really low quality self serve prints.

I bought a speaker and it was defective. I tried to exchange it at the store and spoke to Helen. Helen introduced herself as the store manager. I explained what had happened and she said that the speaker was working perfectly. However, I asked her if I could show it to other customers so they could hear the defect. The only customer who heard the speaker agreed with me and said that the speaker was defective. Still, Helen refused to exchange the defective device. I asked the manager's name and she refused to say it. Luckily, I was able to read her name tag. In short, it was a horrible experience! Especially coming from a store manager.

Took over half an hour for me to get three sheets of paper laminated, when there was only 1 person in front of us. Staff were extremely slow, inefficient, not friendly and did not apologise about the wait.

If I could give minus -10 I would! I can’t believe that office work employing TERRORIST SUPPORTERS! It’s a disgrace to office work. I do hope the police would get involved!

I recently had the pleasure of interacting with Officeworks' telephonic customer service regarding a query about my phone's warranty. I was assisted by Shoaib, who provided exceptional service. The service to print was so slow

Bought the wrong model toner, they let me exchange the opened incorrect toner, saving me spending another $150. Manager was super nice. Good experience :)

One competent person serving long line… waited more than one hour for passport photo.

Staff are generally good and helpful, but printing/office services section seems to be understaffed every time I visit. Hamish, one of the guys at this section is extremely helpful with great attitude.

Bondi is one of the worst Officeworks stores. Importantly they have a lot of old stock and this the experience of the last 6 months: dried pens, crumbly/dried modelling clay and sticky labels that have partially lost their stick. All are signs of aged stock. Refunds were given but this process changed depending on who was on the counter. One was easy, another was highly combative as if they were doing a favour, ignoring the fact it is their job and returning a clearly faulty product for a refund is a legal requirement

10 mins before closing & door access from car park was locked. Managed to get in as another customer left only to be greeted with how did you to get in". When I pointed out time I got an "ohhh come in then". As if you'd go in after a welcoming like that. Worst Officeworks store I've ever been to."

I always use my local office works, for all my printing and scanning needs, all the documents I need for work it’s such a easy place instead of buying my own computer and printer and scanner I just use there’s.

They cannot do the price match from Amazon, that’s a fake advertisement.

Not sure why this store has terrible rating because I’ve been having the best experience there! I had an issue with a refund and Michael went all of his way to call customer service for me and he was so patient and kind! Give this man a raise! Keep being kind to customers cheers

I had an exceptional experience at Officeworks Bondi Junction this morning. The staff were incredibly kind and helpful from the moment I walked in. I was greeted with friendly smiles and a willingness to assist me with all my needs.

An Absolute joke. Pathetic service. Zero interest in customer service. If you enter this store you will be treated like a massive inconvenience.

I would like to commend Ben for his invaluable assistance this afternoon In scanning a legal document of 300 pages. He was highly organised and extremely helpful which helped me to clarify what needed to happen with the document. Thank you Ben and Team!

I don’t know how a big store like that there’s always one person working and at the same time training another one (who never knows any single thing). I went there on Thursday and two day ater I went back asking for the same thing that I had done 2 days before. And the employee didn’t know how to do. All of them supposed to know all the simple things (like to print a paper in a certificate’s quality. Easy! At least it was easy two days before). Always a huge queue and a disgusting costumer service.

They deserve less than a star. Very rude print staff, specially one of them,who doesn't even hear what the customer needs. He made a mistake and at the end he apologise, hope you have a better attitude next time . One hour spent for something they can do in 15 minutes,awful.

Went to get some artwork printed off and framed and was served by a young man named Ben, he was extremely helpful and very kind!

Amazing staff! We were here to get a passport photo taken our daughter for her overseas passport. Even though the shop was extremely busy, the girls went above and beyond to try and meet the requirements, since our original photo (which was taken elsewhere) was rejected. We were on a tight schedule to get it back to the consulate in time and because of their help we made it. The patience and customer service really is to be commended. Thank you so much!🙏

Absolutely appalling attitude of the South American female behind the printing desk. It already had an attitude. Looks at you like it can’t understand English too. Why are you in a customer-based role? Moron

Very friendly staff

Don’t come here for any printing. Ive been coming here for 20 years as I’m local and 9/10 times the print desk staff are rude and have zero clue how to do their jobs. Only the print desk though, normal store staff are not as bad. Other officeworks in the surrounding suburbs are always better and staffed with much nicer people.

There must be a competitor for Office Works. The employees clearly do not get trained or their manager is just as incompetent as they are. The print team is always so understaffed that it is unfair for the person behind the counter who has to deal with disgruntled customers. Waiting an hour is just unacceptable. I wish I could go elsewhere to get print jobs completed. They should let customers be able to complete print jobs for things like A1, or any other job rather than have to wait.

The passport photos I bought were deemed unsuitable by the passport office. Go elsewhere.

Staff were very helpful - I spoke to Simon and although they didn’t have the machine I needed in stock ( chain wide in case the bosses are reading! ) he was more than happy to help me find it elsewhere. Thanks man :)

Have to have cash to pay for printing unless you use self service which no one will help with. Useless

Griffin was really helpful and solved the problem straight away, printing again to make sure it was done perfect. When to pick up my prints. Printed heaps of small art prints for selling. They were all cut differently, not straight and not evenly on the edges of the pictures. The two younger employees, Hamish and another women, were treating me like it was my fault and couldn't figure it out and give me any possible solution just because I didn't have the ticket with me. Went back home to pick it up and came back to try to solve the problem, that's when Griffin took over the situation and act as a real professional, not like the other people. They definitely need to hire better workers that care about their job like Griffin.

Absolutely disgusting customer service, asked 8 different staff members to help me. Not one could answer or help me or even offer any suggestions at all. The manager refused to do anything, condoned his incompetent staff members behaviours. Please hire appropriate staff members with knowledge and customer service skills. Even 1 star is too good of a rating !

Unbelievable the horrible service here. The staff is so slow and inefficient. It seems they don’t bother to make things faster.

The printing service is absolutely appalling. I ordered 50 black and white A5 documents and was told they were ready a couple days after submitting the order. Went in prior to a big meeting that I was needing them for only to find they printed the completely incorrect document (not mine). They couldn't reprint, and I had already waited 30+ minutes in the line so had to leave without the document for the important meeting. Came back the following day to get the correct documents and had to wait another 30 minutes in the line and then when i got them, they were not trimmed and the corner was damaged from the clip they were secured with. I might add that half the self service printing machines didn't work so everyone was needing assistance and there weren't enough staff to help out. I will never go back and recommend you take all of your printing needs elsewhere.

Called in advance for a printing service saying they were able to, just to wait 30 minutes to be told they can't print on the paper I just called for.

The worst experience at Bondi Junction. After queuing for 30min, had to wait another 40min for an A3 print out, in which I was told will take 5min. There are plenty of staff there, they just hover around and don't do much.

Used self service, if you have all your documents uploaded to PrintMe then it is super simple, $0.10 per page, took less than 5 minutes to complete

What has happened to this store? Appalling service and in serious need of retail customer service training. I was told I could not have a refund for a faulty item because the item was not in its original packaging, even though I had the receipt proving it was 3 months old and still under warranty. The staff had no idea about Australian Consumer Laws and handled the situation poorly. Really unfortunate as I used to love shopping at this store.
