Jaycar Electronics Brookvale

Been coming to this place for years and always had a good service until today. Sunday 23 Feb 2025. Went in to find a solution regarding a Powertech 60w solar light bought on 11 Nov 2024. Person in charge was Aidrian, after checking the product he admits is a faulty and warranty is to be applied. Process goes on and I'm entitled only to get the product replaced with a new one. As warranty is 3 months. Sounds good at the time, a minute after that I googled it up and says 12 months warranty. But my google results were given by AI, so coworker Jack starts laughing making fun of us. He says product has only 3 months warranty when the website clearly states is 12 months for any confirmed faulty product. At this stage he says I'm past my warranty period for 11 days already and he is calling his manager to get the green light. After 10mins no reply back so been told to come back another day where a proper manager is available or take a new light as a full refund was not possible. Highly disappointed

Waited 1/2 hour for customer to make up mind.Only 1 staff member. Allowed people to push in. After 3/4 hour I left. Never again.

I like shopping at Jaycar, they have some great products. Some staff are knowledgeable while others aren’t. Always pays to do your research when looking for something in particular.

Came in not know what I needed and almost having to spend $150 for a simple task, but no, over 30 minutes of help from one of the guys there. Walked out spending $5 instead and it WORKED. Literally went above and beyond to assist, thank you !

Have been using this store for a variety of fairly basic needs and the team members are always really helpful. Recently I had one particular audio issue with my studio setup and spoke with Joshua - he knows his stuff. I explained my setup, he troubleshooted on the spot based on what I told him, steered me away from how I was thinking to solve it, providing a much better solution. I recommend this store and in particular to speak with Joshua for any sound tech issues.

Was looking for a replacement phone charger to connect to the cigarette lighter in my car, and the guy that served me was really helpful and knowledgeable. I found exactly what I wanted.

Christmas 2021 - The Brookvale store is all dressed up and alive with the Christmas spirit. The decorations look amazing and range of gift options more than worth a visit.

I'm beyond impressed with the team here - full marks. During a major CommBank outage on 17 October, the team at Jaycar Brookvale were nothing short of delightfully accommodating. Thank you to your team for going above and beyond, in particular to Krishan who provided stand-out technical advice before diligently working to secure a work-around for the unfortunate bank downtime once it was realised. I'll be back again soon I'm sure.

Very attentive and informed staff provide great service. Store has excellent stock levels and layout feels spacious/uncluttered. Heaps of car parking. One of the better Jaycar stores I've been to.
