Honestly worst pub feed ever lettuce on my burger had a bigger back then the hunchback of notre dame. Chips were stone cold and the garlic bread was flavourless and soggy

Pleasant, good pub grub

We always stop when we in Dubbo and have a drink at this Hotel, we decided to have dinner. Pork short ribs ( starter) was not good taste like it was cooked over and over maybe microwaved heated. Was rubbery and still can’t work out the flavour. Then Stuffed Chicken breast with Risotto mmmm the risotto was so bad the texture was like porridge and no flavour (off milk) and the chicken was half stuffed and no colour and very dry. We don’t normally write bad reviews but for over $50 you expect better.

Just came here to let anyone know that the music they’re playing here is awful. Annoyed the hell outta me, and I’m guessing everyone, because no one lingered. Do yourselves and everyone a favour and play something more befitting of the venue

Good food, great prices! $15 for a cocktail is unreal!! Would absolutely come back next time in Dubbo! Would have been nice to see some more visitors :))

Steak night was brilliant. For a Friday night though, it was very quiet. Everyone was very friendly.

Came through town right upon reopening after renovations purely by coincidence . The place looks fantastic, the guy in charge was running round talking to everyone showing them the updates. Super friendly service, reasonable pricing and a perfectly cooked steak. Good portions of all food and sauce. 10/10 would return if I pass through Dubbo again.

Good atmosphere, good pub food.

When in Dubbo I hit this pub for the food as it’s always spot on - thanks chef. Staff are great. Atmosphere is lacking a little something but I’m usually there mid week so it’s not very busy.

Beautiful old sandstone building with old world charm. Wheelchaif and accessible friendly. Lift to the lovely downstairs sandstone small rooms. Mushroom burger is amazing. Best chips in town.

New Menu, New bistro management. Wiping the slate clean as today's counter lunch was alright. Some of the lunch specials were tried out and with a 2:30pm kitchen close it beat the nearest pub by half an hour which led us back to here to have another go. Nice and quiet. The atmosphere downstairs that I've just posted a few photos of looks great as well. As a local I've skipped this place based on past experience but going back to see if the consistency of service today is matched in the future.

$28 meal, mash and vege cold, pretty pathetic Wouldn’t recommend at all

Went there for lunch and having never been there didnt know what to expect,,we ordered lunch at hugely inflated prices so we assumed the meals would reflect the prices...How wrong where we...i got a steak that was so overcooked with a garden salad which should of been left in the garden..other meal was $36 for two crumbed cutlets which were so tiny and WAY overcooked that both cutlets under the uncutable crumbs was a SACRIFICED piece of meat bordering on charcoal..didnt resemble meat in any fashion..complained to bar staff and was basically asked what was wrong with two black offerings..lunch was then replaced with a crumbed schnitty which was sorta edible...and was NEVER OFFERED A REFUND as schnitty was half the price..WELL FIRST TIME......LAST TIME...Wont ever visit Dubbo again...Customer service non existent and care factor was ZERO...

Awesome place to chill n drink. Didn't have any food so couldn't rate it. Happy stuff who know a lot of the history of the place... Great downstairs area and the beers are cold n wet!

Always amazed that in Australia you can get perfect service from staff who aren't expecting or angling for a tip. Staff are excellent here.

Ordered a chicken bacon burger from the QR code menu app, was delivered a very basic stale bun with a slice of chicken, tomato and lettuce unlike the photo.

Food was awful, Service not so good. Parmi was a brown chicken jerky.

Had dinner Wednesday night with 12 others, had the chicken parmi. Excellent. My mate had Scott surf n turf, hollandaise house-made - huge thumbs up. Worth going here but head downstairs (some of us a little rowdy) thanks again for a great night out.

Very clean facility. I would say the most comfortable pub I have been in. Staff are fantastic and food is good. Wish I could give them a five star rating. The reason I can’t is because I always have to wait a significant period of time at the bar for someone to come and serve a drink??? I’ve been coming here for nearly 12 months now. I’ve walked out four times because I could not get served.

This is a popular pub bit we attended on a quiet Sunday afternoon. The beers are reasonably priced and there are plenty of seating options from the bistro area to the downstairs cellar area and the bar which has both bar stool seating and more casual table seating. The staff were friendly and the footy was on. There is a typical Sunday afternoon pub atmosphere we focused on the footy and conversation. Our group split for dinner with a couple staying for a schnitty and parmy which they raved about. We returned later and the pub had picked up a bit bit much quieter than the other nights. Meals going past us looked really good from steaks to fish and chips. It was a really good quiet Sunday afternoon away from the heat outdoors.

Food was wonderful. Bistro very clean & staff lovely. Drinks not so much, scotch on the rocks was filled by a hose. Disgusting tasted like metho. DEFINITELY not tasting any scotch. Disappointing as otherwise it was a lovely evening. Be interested to see if this post is removed....

Great pub amazing staff highly recommend

The staff were very friendly, food was tasy, fresh and good portions. The live singer on the night was really good and entertaining. My wife and I really enjoyed our evening.

One of a kind venue in Dubbo with its upstairs and downstairs function rooms. Excellent meals and service. Excellent range of drinks and friendly bar staff. Really helpful functions staff and coordination planning.

Had a very enjoyable dinner here NYE. They squeezed us in without a booking. We both had decent steaks, a little tough maybe but pretty well cooked and for the price very good! The kids meals are superb value and drinks and generous and good value too. Apple crumble flavour was excellent and would be perfect with a little less sugar and little more apple.

Love going to the Mile Stone!, Go there and have a slap on the pokies, while having some awesome munchies like spring rolls, dim sims and the sort, for free, with free soft drinks while having a press. Staff are friendly and are there to help with what ever you may need help with .
