5 Stars – Outstanding Service! I had a fantastic stay at the Aberdeen Motel in Dubbo. The room was spotless, and the overall cleanliness was impressive. The real standout, though, was the manager, Katie—her exceptional hospitality made all the difference. We had a funeral to attend at 11 am, and despite the standard 10 am checkout, Katie was incredibly accommodating and allowed us to stay longer. That level of kindness and flexibility is rare and truly appreciated. Highly recommend this place for anyone visiting Dubbo!

Well located hotel to town. Clean and tidy rooms and the best thing about this room is the beds are hard. I have had the best night sleep out of all the hotels I’ve stayed at in this hotel.

The room and amenities were brilliant. The location of the motel to everything in Dubbo was perfect. The staff were courteous and went above and beyond to ensure we had a great time.

Beautiful motel, friendly service, very clean rooms, and a great little pool. As we were diving long distance, we really needed sleep, and unfortunately, we didn't get much. Noise was a huge problem, cars and motorbikes racing in the middle of the night, very loud people yelling down the road. We are now back on the road for another long day of driving and exhausted. I do recommend staying here, but just maybe avoid it being on a Saturday night 😊

We stayed for one night on our way through NSW. The rooms were clean and very comfortable. The pool was great for the kids to cool off and let off some energy after a long day in the car. Nice touches like a small bottle of milk and cold water when you first arrive as well a pool towels to use. Thank you for a great stay!

Very good service and room was clean. The reception team was fantastic at listening to our needs and attending. Very well organised as well. The motel is located very close to the Taronga zoo as well. I would recommend this place to my friends and family.

excellent motel & great upgrades to the rooms

Had no issues, plenty of water, comfortable bed, only two issues, spa wasn’t cleaned 100% had some black bits and hair, and room needs better sound deadening but outside of that fantastic, Have to use 200 characters so I am writing said characters

We had a two night stay in this motel in November. The rooms were very well appointed, spacious, lovely beds and linen, and very soundproof. The hotel is within easy walking distance of shops and restaurants and take away food outlets. The pool was a welcome relief at the end of a hot day. Host Andrew was a pleasure to deal with, providing a quick and easy check in, and assisting with additional crockery in the room and pool towels. Andrew was also a wonderful help when I accidently left some items in the room at the end of our stay, posting them to my home address which was very much appreciated. I highly recommend The Aberdeen and would definately stay here again.

Well located, large comfortable rooms, beds very comfortable, easy parking and very clean. block out curtains.|Places to eat close by if you do not feel like going far for a meal. I would certainly book this motel again.|Staff very friendly and helpful

We recently stayed overnight at the Aberdeen on our way back to SA. After a long day in the car I had requested a quiet room and the lovely person that took my reservation made a note of this. On arrival we were given a lovely quiet room which was exceptionally clean. I would highly recommend it. 😊

The Aberdeen Motel is very convenient with many restaurants and fast food within walking distance. Rooms are spacious and very clean. It provides much more than 4 stars hotel in big cities. Capsule coffee, biscuits, hot chocolate....| I was a bit anxious that checked in closes at 7pm but clear instructions was given as to how I get my room keys.| |Highly recommended and will stay there again should I visit Dubbo.

Very friendly staff. Huge room. Close to a variety of food places. 5 to 10 minute walk to 2 nice pubs. Comfy bed. Heaps of extras that add that nice personal touch - 2 water bottles in the fridge, biscuits, small bowl of mento lollies etc. Good heating in the room.

Excellent location, within walking distance from a variety of cafes and restaurants. 10 min from the Zoo. Nice and clean rooms, with a kitchenette. Ample on-prem parking space is available. Check-in was fast and easy. Very well managed...

We have stayed here before cant fault it location and a great place to stay highly recommend the staff is very friendly and helpful . We had the executive room which has a queen and a single bed queen bed was very comfortable unfortunately the single bed not so comfortable could do with a new mattress, but still ok we were up graded with a spa at no extra cost which was nice , but we did not use it.

Perfect place to stay with my 2 young children. The motel is located within walking distance to everything needed during the stay. The rooms are very clean and spacious. The staff at Aberdeen are amazing and very helpful whenever I had a question or when I sort their recommendations for things to do/places to eat in the area. Definitely a place I would return to again during my visits to Dubbo.

The room was basic, but clean and fresh. The service was nice, and the location was great. We would definitely stay here again.

The closest motel to the main drag of town. This is great except the traffic noise can be disruptive. However a neat and tidy room, great shower and water pressure,lovely staff at reception. It’s a bit more expensive than some but I think it’s worth it. Check it out.

Stayed here with my family for the Anzac long weekend. Was a perfect base to explore Dubbo and the Zoo. Very accommodating manager & staff- we’ll be back!

We got the room just next to the road . It’s loud n bright though all curtains are closed . Room 16. The toilet stinks , maybe the drainage . Got to spray lots of perfume . You can hear people screaming shouting along the street at night . Housekeeping is not great as they didn’t do our bed , cos they said there are clothes on the bed . We only had PJ on it . And housekeeping will still do the bed regardless . N they also forgot to housekeep our room . Rooms are ok but weird set up . Not the cleanest too . Not sure why reviews are great . Bed made my legs itch too . Saving grace is that you can walk to the restaurants in 5-10 min .

Went to Dubbo for a swimming carnival. Great spot and very close to all kinds of food. The rooms are very clean and spacious.

Brilliant place to stay! We were travelling through Dubbo and booked last minute. I was thrilled when I opened the door after a long drive with two small kids. The rooms are fabulous. Spotless, modern, super comfy beds and everything you need. Reception staff were warm, welcoming and friendly. Would definitely stay here again, great motel! 👌🏼

The room is very well presented and fantastically clean. Service on the front reception was great and very knowledgeable on all things Dubbo. The only concern was the noise from the highway throughout the night. The receptionist was able to move me an extra couple of rooms away from the road, but the noise was still very noticeable.

A great motel at a great price. Very comfortable accommodation and the family room is ginormous. Bathroom is modern, very clean and nice little selection of complimentary toiletries. Good size fridge for a motel room. There is also a kettle, microwave and toaster which are all very handy to have when travelling as a family. Can’t fault this place at all.

We had a great overnight stay! From check in to check out the service was lovely. The room was clean and tidy and it was in a great spot. It’s in walking distance to lots of food places and close to most other things too. It wasn’t too loud at night either. I’d definitely stay there again.

For the price range of under $200 a night, this is pretty nice. Bed was comfortable, heating worked, TV worked, places to charge (next to bed too). Very pleasant staff.

Margot was great from the first greeting. Very friendly and was able to give me all the information that I needed to get through my stay. My room was large, the bed comfortable. Unfortunately I arrived too late to go for a swim in their pool - which looked clean. It was nice to get fresh milk instead of UHT. Would I stay there again? Yes.

I stayed here a couple of nights for a work conference nearby. The location was convenient for access to the CBD. We didn't use the car at all because everything we needed was within walking distance of the accommodation. I also did a couple of early runs including around the river that were conveniently located near the hotel. My room was well set out with a queen bed and a single. The bathroom had a shower and a spa bath which I used a couple of times to relax my muscles after the runs. The only negative was that my room was close to the main road and in the morning there was some traffic noise but otherwise it was quite peaceful in the room. The couple running the motel and very polite and friendly and they leave complimentary mentos in the room.

The receptionist was very helpful,and the room was very spacious and clean.

Shout-out to the team @Aberdeen. Last minute booking travelling through to QLD, including after-hours check-in; yet accessing the room couldn't have been easier! Family room was modern, spacious and spotless. Good price, excellent standard, outstanding customer service!

Very Well presented and very clean modern rooms Stayed here with my little family and the very friendly staff had a nice new cot set up for our baby on arrival. Very close to everything and a great pool area highly recommended!

What a fabulous motel! Close to everything, lovely rooms -ours had a nice big bath with decent water pressure. Very comfortable beds with plenty of pillows. Love the little extras, bottled water in the fridge on arrival, and mints! Pleased to see single use soaps are out, wall dispenser soaps are in!! A shout out to the lovely Margot in reception 😀 very kind and helpful!

Ok stayed here a week and everything was fine. Close to town which suited me as I walked in for breakfast most mornings. The motel was very neat and tidy and the staff friendly. I had an issue with the hot water one day but they looked into it and quickly resolved the issue. If I'm out here in Dubbo again I would definitely try and book in here again.

Room big and clean & We had a little fur baby with us was great ,with plenty of room to park our ranger and trailer .Lots of grass for Soxee to run around on & short drive downtown to pub & their food was excellent ! Will be back ps the owners were very friendly !

Beautifully presented, clean rooms. Everything you need ( except plates). The beds were excellent, very comfortable. The location was quiet and walking distance to everything. Excellent value for money. We would highly recommend this place and will definitely recommend to other travellers.

Family room large and clean, fairly modern too. Staff lovely and really make the place. Only comment is that the door rattles a little and is nowhere near airtight, meaning traffic noise easily filtered in. Would definitely stay again

Service by this nice lady was top ...show us to the room, told us where are the switches and for what utility. Even book us a taxi and call up again when taxi was late.....sure to stay again at next visit

IF YOU ARE OF COLOUR, DO NOT BOOK HERE!!! I booked the motel through Wotif for 2 days but decided to stay one day due to changes of my plans. I advised the receptionist of these changes during check in and she told me that I shouldn't have booked more days if I was going to cancel.and was just plain rude. She told me to pay an extra $40 for commission in order to cancel my second day.... An executive $170 room ended up costing me $230.i was pretty disappointed but quickly put it behind me. The day of checkout came and I asked to check out at 10:30am instead of 10am....I was bluntly told no and by 10:15 a huge man was banging at my door. I advised him that I only needed 10 more minutes but he yelled at me that it was time to go and I was slowing down his cleaning stuff. I was very shocked by the way he talked down at me and had so many questions running in my head. I hurriedly shoved my kids out the door nd into the car without proper time to pack everything and to my disbelief, the receptionist was at my car counting my kids. I told her that I had never seen such rude people in my life. I really hope no one else goes through such treatment any where.

Delightful stay in general. Friendly staff. And close to restaurants and shopping centres. Only minor problems we had were a black house spider crawled on me/blanket in the middle of our sleep, and a leaking aircon which didn’t bother us as much(we were in room 28) definitely will be back again.

Nearby restaurants: Junk food shops are very close; but better places are 1-2 walk blocks away. WiFi speed: Dreadful slow 1.4 Mbps; not suitable to watch standard YouTube.
