Great food and beer reasonable prices

The atmosphere of the pub is great! I understand that hospitality gets its busy moments but with 3 functions booked at once, I had to wait for my order for a few hours; then my order was delivered with an allergy that was specified to be excluded, I had to wait even longer for a fresh batch - which ended in getting it takeaway. The courtesy driver Scott was a very professional driver, very polite and understands how important comfort is when travelling. I’m giving 3 stars for the atmosphere of the place, but the service was shocking!

What a find had one of the best ginger beers ever and great beer after a long drive really hit the spot. Staff great knowledgeable and so helpful would highly recommend other travellers to drop in for a nice cold one!

Great beers and service, nice clean place with good music

Visiting Dubbo joined friends lived locally, what a disappointment charged like a wondered bull quality of food left a lot to be desired . I was joined by 2 chefs that couldn't believe the cost charged to what was served left a lot to be desired.

Absolutely loved this place - beer was great and people working there were very friendly. But the standout was that they had a whole cupboard of games for our kids to play. Instead of just staying for one drink we ended up staying for hours - our kids didn't want to leave. Can't wait to come back.

A great place for a meal or a snack, they have a great range of gluten free deserts! The staff are lovely and it's a great environment.

Turned up here on a random Tuesday evening, the place was 3/4 full at 630pm. Live music, beautiful food, GREAT beer, and just a beautiful vibe. I love me a good brewery, and this is near the top of the list!!

This is a good experience. Varied drinks made on site. Food was good. Typical pub fare. Music a little loud especially if you are hearing impaired. Otherwise quite good.

Came here with a group of workmates on Wednesday night. Walked in at the tail end of Trivia night, shame we missed that. But we ordered dinner which came out very quickly. Food was delicious and service was great. No complaints.

Great afternoon. Pleasant surroundings, great food. We had the meat pizza, enough for two. Nice beer and pino noir.

Hubby and I enjoyed a relaxing meal here tonight (18/05/24). Right from the start, the service was friendly, helpful and fast. They answered questions about meals and drinks and chatted with us. The meals themselves were fresh, the fish light, flaky and tasty without any greasiness. Hubby enjoyed the ribs, stating they were tender, juicy and filling. Service from the bar was excellent. The drinks were very well made. Highly recommend the mocktails as well.

Was expecting overpriced tourist trap but pleasantly surprised. Meals cheap and good value. Had a tasting paddle of beers 4x 7oz glasses and that was good too. Their stout is a beauty! Big thanks to Adele our bar attendant/specialist and her good humour.

What a great place this is. The owner Mel, picked us up, gave us a rundown on the brewery. Our meal was delicious, the beers great, the spritzer paddle my wife's favourite. Met Barry, owners dad, incidentally came from our home town, Such a great night out, thanks team.

Sparkling service and magnificent in-house brewery products… I tasted the Nosey Bob red ale, Black Horn dark ale and settled on the amazing Stumped milk chocolate stout). Food quality is off the charts. From the calamari starter with cashews and Japanese style dressing, to the full rack of pork short ribs, to my partner’s double burger (no bun low carb was not problem)… we could not fault the service, the quality or the quantity for first timers. The Devil’s Hollow is must when you’re in Dubbo next! Thanks!

Great venue, food and atmosphere!

Very disappointed in the standard wine glass size for $10-12 glass. No line on the glass it was not standard measurement….rip off When my partner asked to put more in it the bartender said ‘I’m not allowed’ interesting 🤬

Went there for lunch had snitty chips and gravy the snitty was over cooked but than they cut it to see if it was cooked it obviously was cooked it was so close to burnt and had a hand full of mixed salad leafs on the plate it had no purpose on the place wasn't dress with a dressing or anything else so was not edible only good if there was a buuny out in the garden only to make the plate look fuller

Nice visit , different boutique beers on tap , not cheap but nice outing and good live music and atmosphere .

Good beer, decent selection, nothing too exciting though. Food is disappointing though. The same menu that 90% of breweries have (pizzas, ribs, wings and a few uninspiring mains). Pizzas were okay, pretty average. Crispy pork asian salad was poor. Zero crispyness to the pork, tasted like it could have been boiled. Asian salad was just a normal salad with some honey, sweet chilli, cashews and pork scratching ontop. 100% would go back for beer if it was your local. Probably would be 3 stars if it wasnt independant

Bar staff made up for the the bad dining experience, my daughters 18th birthday,we order dinner, waited a while for dinner, husband meal was cold, my daughter and I had burnt pizza on the crust and the rest you needed a knife and folk to eat it, fell apart as you tried to pick it up, no flavour, no cheese, soggy, not sure what meat was on it, Female on the food counter was rude, cook and that staff member fighting, really disappointed, I have been there for coffee i sometimes and it's been a better experience, may just depend on the staff.

Visit the brewery often when in Dubbo for lunch or dinner. Good range of craft beer on tap, food is good. Overall a good experience, a little pricey but still reasonable.

It would have been a better experience if our child didn’t have to stand a meter away from us as we ordered drinks. NOT A CHILD FRIENDLY PLACE. Suggestion to the owners to get rid of your ‘white line’ and be more accommodating to parents and their children. You actually make some really nice brews…we would’ve bought more but felt extremely uncomfortable. The two stars are only for your beer - nothing else. I hope this helps fellow travellers with children to be aware. Cheers from the more hospitable state SA with some bloody great breweries who are extremely accommodating to parents.

Positively below expectations. Eight of us for dinner and not one of us finished our meals. Salmon was under cooked and sitting in oil, the potatoes served with the salmon were not cooked through. A fillet steak, cold. Three pizzas not quite right for various reasons. Even the deserts were bad. Caramel cheese cake with the consistency of rubber. A simple muffin, probably a few days beyond it use by date. Don't think we will bother again when next in Dubbo as there are lots of pubs offering much better quality food.

Great place , great atmosphere, good beers, great menu choices. Will definitely return. It was a cold afternoon out , but the Brewery was very warm and comfortable. Thanks guy's.

Best place in dubbo for excellent beer and customer service, very friendly staff

Hit and Miss. I only come here for large group gatherings, so usually a lot of time passes between visits. The beers are a bit more traditional, and I'm more into sours and thick stouts so I don't drink their beers often. However most recently I tried their hazy pale, and it had the bitterness of a full IPA with notes of chlorine, and no other body to speak of. An unenjoyable combination to say the least, particularly for a hazy pale. Each time I'm here with a large group, at least one person in the party has an issue with food e.g. lost order, incorrect order etc. The veggo options (dinner) lack creativity, which is frustrating but unfortunately pretty standard in Dubbo. The atmosphere is nice on Sunday afternoons outside, and they're one of the only places open for a sunday session. However at any other time the atmosphere somehow really lacks unless it's packed.

the service was terrible, when we questioned a mistake on the menu she got incredibly rude, was an innocent question and she turned on us like judus on jesus was a terrible experience. would rather delve into the mine of moria to fight a belrog than go again

Why bother going to a brewery when they get offended when you order a beer

The food was good the service was terrible. Wish I went to Woolworth and bought a frozen pizza instead, wouldn’t have got harassed then.

Drinks, great, food average and over priced. A venue that caters to many different groups but more suited to the guy or girls get together instead of a family venue. I'd come for the drinks but I'd leave the food

Killer brewery beers - IPA to XPA

Awesome venue! Lots of space, would be good for events or private functions. Had a chat with the lady who owns the business and she was super friendly and talked to me about their brewery. Highly recommend the Small Arms Pilsner/Helles Lager and the Commotion XPA, very sessionable Will be back to try some more next time I’m in Dubbo!!

Great tasting beer and friendly service, dinner was good but a bit small and missing a few things listed on the menu, think I will try a pizza next time, they look good!

What a top spot, Most importantly the beers were awesome (after sampling a paddle) and the service was fantastic . Not your normal explanation about the beers either, very interesting. We had a dog and the bar manager couldn't help us enough. We went out to the front of the brewery and the bar manager let us in through the gate and was good enough to get some water for the dog and deliver our drinks. It was reasonably quiet at the time but within an hour the place was pumping we shows how good this place is. Definitely worth a visit.

Had a wonderful Day here. Pizza was amazing but nothing beats the beer. Amazing staff and especially the Manager behind the bar on Saturday 4/03/2023. she was so helpful and friendly. We will be back on our next visit.

We keep returning do it must be a place of good character .. meals n beer are pretty good too . Staff are more than willing to help . All yau have to do is ask politely

Small portions, kids weren't full from their food. Nice selection of beers and wines.

The beer is largely traditional styles and well executed (but pricey). The environment, for me, was a little glitzy and manufactured. The $30 hire fee for 2 hours of finsk was amusing and I can't imagine many taking part. I think charging much less (or free given the game costs almost nothing to buy) would make sense as it would improve the environment. It didn't help when the staff told me to ensure my daughter was behind the white line at the bar which seemed a bit overzealous. Music was pretty good but I've seen it all done better for much less.

Great stop for breakfast and great coffee before we headed on our next leg of our road trip. Ample parking with a camper too. Not too busy, relaxed atmosphere and we sat out front with our dog 🐶 zucchini fritters were delicious !!

The food was really good. A little pricey but not so much that I wouldn't go again. I got there at a quiet time so was pleasant, not too busy. The staff were polite and courteous. Had a nice atmosphere. Would recommend going for brunch or lunch.

Good beer, good food & good atmosphere

Honestly the worst food ever. The steak sandwich tasted like absolutely nothing, no flavour, chips were cold .. and the chicken Snitzel was tiny, burnt, salad came with no dressing and the gravy that came with my Snitzel was like water!!! It was horrid, I will not recommend this place to anyone.
