Dubbo RSL Motel

Rooms are very clean Good location

Location is OK, rooms and services are definitely not 4stars, barely 3stars.

Be sure to check the price with the hotel before you stay, the so called manager will charge you extra for whatever reasons based on their 'policy', all the problems only surface when you are trying to check out. Consider other places to stay if you can, why disappoint your holiday with their deceitfulness and arrogance.

Reception staff very helpful and pleasant. Room very good. Clean. Slept well in comfortable bed. Directly opposite club for meals. Secured carpark and motel entry. Ground floor unit with internal access. Sliding door to street side could do with a bolt for security also.

We were lucky enough to stay in rooms that had just been renovated. Very stylish and new appointments in the rooms. Bed was also very comfortable! Super convenient to the RSL across the road and lock up car park area. Love the fact there was the USB power points too!

2 bedrooms 1 toilet means 1 has to walk through other bedroom to use toilet in the middle of night. Not ideal.

Big room with lots of bench space. Great gated parking. Short walking distance to restaurants and pubs, and the RSL is just across the road. Did not like the worn out frayed towels though, as at home, they would have long gone to my husband's garage pile for cleaning/mopping up mess.

Was very disappointed with this motel, we booked it from 7 hours away and told them we had a camper trailer as well was told all was good just unhitch it and leave it in a car park. The ladies which there was 3 were very rude and said no we can not stay as it would not fit, it is shorter than a car and we had booked the presidential suite and that car park was huge, they said we wouldn't fit in the parking lot well we had to drive thru it to get out, we were very tired from a big day driving. They didn't have to be so rude

Very clean, comfortable, bed was very comfortable, soft pillows, room was spacious, excellent shower, good location, just across the road from the RSKL club.. Staff very helpful and friendly. Good secure parking system

This could be the only motel in Dubbo which offers quiet rooms with effective blackout curtains to help you sleep. I booked for one trial night and ended up staying 5 nights. Large room, comfortable with many thoughtful touches. And free, secure parking! I wouldn’t stay anywhere else in Dubbo!

The accommodation was great, the staff manager was so rude and arrogant.

I would never eat here again. There are much better places in dubbo to go.

Great location and friendly staff. Good for one night stay

Stayed during the week(2nights), very quiet clean. Walking distance to many places in CBD. Only comment didn’t see a toaster in room. Ample tea/coffee supplies. Otherwise huge thumbs up.

Really impressed with our stay. We had the Windsor Suite with a spa bath. It was fantastic. The motel has everything you need - friendly staff, air con, pool, lots of parking, lift, room service, breakfast, microwave, tv (including Foxtel channels and netflix), iron, kettle and a good shower. The motel is also located in the center of town and 10 minutes from the zoo.

We stayed here due to its close proximity to the RSL. Everything was perfectly satisfactory. The staff were very friendly and had good local knowledge. The free laundry was a bonus. The room was clean and comfortable. Perhaps not the most modern in decor but we had a lovely stay and would stay here again

Friendly and helpful staff. Nice rooms comfortable beds and a joy to see spare pillows. Great location to town and ammenties .Only draw back if you could say is the showers on the inside could use a little more cleaning but overall no worries

Fantastic accommodation, spotless clean and everything serviced and replenished daily, including water.

Great accommodation in a super convenient location right near the RSL for dinner. Well worth coming here even if you don’t plan to have dinner at the RSL. Bedding comfortable, clean, spacious and quiet. Breakfast also provided if required, and that was good too,

Service was nice, rooms were good, ok location was. Cant knock this place all in all was good

Messed up my booking which was for purpose of court work. Room left behind in the 1970s. Heavily timbered and very tired. No micro wave in a large suite. Mini TV that could not be seen from one side of the bed. No electric blanket in a cold climate. Worn bench surfaces. Furniture ready for the Op Shop. Never again!

only disappointment was being served a disappointing meal never happen before, all in all will still use again if we ever travel that way

The room we were given looked nothing like the photos. It was very old, musty , curtains were dirty and not what we expected for the price. We book based on the reviews here so are confused about what we got and what the reviews say. I would not stay here again.

Clean and comfortable but they could do with some decent towels. Our horses get rubbed down with better towels than they had! Reception Sharan was really nice and helpful.

Definitely not 4 Star... No plates, bowls, knives, forks... No toaster, no microwave, no milk in the tiny tiny fridge, i could go on... But be best to just say we will not be staying here again .. not worth the cost!

Let me be honest: this place lost me when I found someone's broken red finger nail on the floor between beds. I noticed it while watching tv, picked it up to inspect and was pretty grossed out from that moment on. I'm not really sure how this could have been missed when cleaning, particularly with the standards expected in our living-with-covid world. I understand mistakes can be made but it made me question whether the room had actually been cleaned. After I showed him the nail my husband had a look around and found a Easter egg wrapper at the foot of the bed and there were numerous spots on the bedding so whatever cleaning took place was obviously not all that thorough. The room had a queen and single bed, a small tv with local channels and limited Foxtel along with tea and coffee making facilities. You cannot fault the location as it's smack bang in the middle of town and within walking distance of food, good coffee and local attractions. That said prepare for noise as many people walked passed loudly during the night. We paid $165 for a last minute night's accommodation. Minus the cleaning concerns it's still tired and dated for that price. I couldn't honestly recommend anyone stay here.

The service we received from Anette in particular was outstanding! Her customer service was amazing! Nothing was too much.||Great rooms, and overall a lovely place to stay. Room service was very quick for tired and hungry travellers.

The room was clean and the location was convenient for travelling to Taronga Western Plains Zoo Dubbo, just 15 minutes from the motel. The price was quite high if compared to others ( We had to stay here for 2 nights because other accommodation was full booking). Staff were friendly and good service.

The motel staff and facilities were great...we ordered room service and the two women who delivered it came into our room and basically shamed us for being in bed and about the amount of food we ordered...we have a rather tragic reason as to why we came to Dubbo for this trip which I won’t get into...hopefully those women see this post and maybe will think before speaking and being so abrupt and rude to visitors

Motel pretty good, older style but clean tidy and good staff. Nice clean and modern club, let down by aircon that makes your clothes smell of stale cooking fat. Ate at the 178 restaurant- great food and grumpy waitress. We had to keep asking for items that would normally have been offered (drinks menu, water) which made her more grumpy. Generally came across as not wanting to be there, both us and her.

Dubbo accommodation is always expensive because they have a zoo but this place is good value with secure parking. Club is across the road and the meals are fairly good. In a different town it would get 4 stars but for Dubbo it gets a 5

Perfect for the stop over. Great to base yourself here while in tow doing business.

Just spent a few days here Staff were so nice room was nice and clean close to the main street and all the shops Will definitely stay here again on my next trip to dubbo

Centrally located in the heart of Dubbo, and conveniently located across the road from the RSL Club itself (I’ll endeavour to provide a review of this culinary establishment in due course). Efficient service, clean rooms, and secure after-hours parking. Possible may have received a higher rating if I wasn’t in room 7, which is located across the hall from the guest laundry and the ice machine.
