Delighted to stay at Romanos. Rooms are very comfortable and contains everything you may need. Hotel is well maintained. Owner carefully think through everything that guests may need. You deserve appreciation! Bedding was comfy & neat. Parking in street. Shower was awesome. Washroom was very cleaned & had all amenities. Night Manager was very accomodating and fulfilled my requests. Only one complaint; spoon i used to stir tea had long hair sticking and I didn’t realize until I stirred tea.

Stayed here for one night passing through. The room we booked was nice, however after a few hours we realised the aircon wasn't working. My partner spoke to the bar manager, Hamish, who came right up to check on it. He seemed to be able to fix it, but being 40 degrees, he offered us the choice of moving to another room just in case the fix didn't stick. He upgraded us to a nicer room, with beautiful arctic aircon and did it all with a little skip in his step and a smile on his face. He also gave us a few drink vouchers. All the other staff were equally charming to interact with, especially the lovely girl at the check in. Comfy bed, excellent shower, very clean. Romano's has earned a place on our favourites list. Solid place for food and entertainment! Fairly priced food of great quality, fast service, cold drinks.

I was there for an engagement party. The room was great, but could use a little more cooling for those hot afternoons.

We went for dinner and were all pleasantly surprised. The food was absolutely delicious. I had the beef ribs, which were probably the best ribs I've ever eaten! The meat was incredibly tender, literally falling off the bone, and delicious tasting. And the mashed potato bed on which they sat was also stunning. I cannot recommend Romano's highly enough.

Romano's is a great place to stay when you're away for work and just need somewhere to crash at the end of the day.

That's room was overall okay but The Aircon was such a comedy that you set the cool temprature the Aircon stops thinks and takes time to process fan air. Did try to work around a way to open the window to the room and sleep for the night stay on a super hot day. Was too tired and was super late to change rooms as it was 11pm and not many hotel staffs were there to help except the bar staff. So I would recommend checking with the reception before booking if all the Aircon and other stuffs in room works fine. The Restaurant food and bar service was great. Five star to that.

Reception staff were friendly and helpful. I had a blown bulb in my bedside lamp, which was promptly replaced. Our room was clean and comfortable, with a good shower. Bar service was also very good. It was the food that let the place down. We both had surf and turf. When the bell to pick up was rung, our meals must have been sitting for a few minutes, as they were luke warm. I had mash and veges, which were good, as were my husband’s salad and chips. The prawns were good too. But both steaks were inedibly chewy and we couldn’t eat them. For dessert, I had the stalest lemon meringue tart I have ever seen. My husband said his crème brûlée was okay. Desserts were sold with cream and ice cream. There was no cream and we were served a ball of ice cream each, the size of a 50 cent piece. At this point I complained and more ice cream was added to our plates. All in all I would give our food 2 stars, if there was an option. Maybe we made the wrong food choices, but wouldn’t choose to eat there again.

Nice place with nice staff, the bad thing is that the aircon doesn't cool the room down, energy saving remotes, paying good morning but can't sleep because too God dam hot in the room, not happy, won't be staying here ever again

I spent 4 nights at this accommodation in a one-bed room. The room and facilities were clean and comfortable, but it could be better. The toilets and bathrooms are shared! Unfortunately, there were cockroaches and other insects in the bathroom.

They've removed the TAB machines and are now perpetuating problem gambling by suggesting customers download a betting app on their phones to place a bet. Disgusting move. Edit: If you were committed to responsible gambling practices, you wouldn't be forcing customers to install gambling apps on their phones to have a punt. It's a predatory business model that you're now enabling. Not responsible at all, far from it.

I wouldn't recommend coming here as they are discriminatory against gay couples, I know I was there with my partner and we showed affection and they claimed we were in toxicated

My partner and I broke down in Wagga on our way to Perth. The staff and service was amazing, staff were friendly and helpful in both the hotel and the bar/dining. For the price point, this place rocks. The bed was very comfortable, and the air conditioning was nice and cold. Massive shower, good pressure. The food was brilliant! We both had the schnitzels with different toppers, plus some cocktails, and we enjoyed it all. The arcade room was a welcome addition too. Definitely recommend if you’re looking for an affordable no frills overnight stay.

We had a great experience of staying here! Amazing prices, good food. As we stayed on Friday night, the late night live music was really good, there was loud noise of people chitchatting and playing air hockey downstairs until late night which disturbed us. we were on a long road trip and needed a good sleep in less time, but apart from the noise, rest all it was a great experience for the price we paid

I needed to book a night in Wagga which ended up being two nights. The welcome and staff at Romano’s were wonderful, what a classic country hotel! Great service, lovely food and so friendly. My first night I did the shared bathroom but when I had to stay a second night I opted for an ensuite room. I’d definitely be staying here again.

Beware of owner!!! Has no etiquette!!! No care for customers!!! I personally experienced it. I was travelling through Wagga Wagga on way back to Melbourne and saw a website (Romano’s) that said BEST HOTEL in WAGGA. So I chose it to eat and stay. Oh wow. How wrong I was. Bar staff and food were very average. But I can understand it working for that bloke who owns the place. Booked a room to stay. After I ate I asked for refund to the room only and I would leave. He denied a refund. So morally I left keys after 30 mins, videoed myself leaving. I then found William Farrer Hotel and booked in there. Wonderful staff. Nice clean pub and good food. Whatever you do….avoid ROMANOS HOTEL.

Stayed at Romano's on Friday 18 Oct 24 on arrival booking in was a pleasure great staff/management, room was fantastic clean modern very comfortable, bar staff were fabulous friendly very helpful, ordered a meal great food fresh salad and delicious battered fish, could not fault anything about my stay and will definitely be back 😃👍

Steak dinner... I Was told by friends that the steaks come out under cooked . I ordered med-well and it still came (undercooked) med-rare. Mushroom sauce was great & so were veggies. Very friendly bar staff. Great games room.

I can’t fault this place at all. From the super clean rooms with an amazing bed and shower to the great feed downstairs and the lovely staff. 100% a perfect stay! Will be back next time I’m in Wagga.

If you are in the process of renovating and have power tools starting up at 6am directly below where people sleep, you probably should have said something at time of booking, with a discount or late checkout. Not a great way to start my holiday and I went home early.

I stayed in room 118 with my heavily pregnant partner on 10/09/24. Check in was easy and simple with friendly helpful staff. The room was a decent size with a big bed, large television and a big ensuit. It had everything we needed and was very comfortable. We ate dinner downstairs and I had couple of beers a $15 T-bone steak and chips which was more than I could eat and very very tasty. The bar staff and all of the employees went above and beyond with their customer service, nothing was a problem and they all went out of their way to be helpful. Most of the time approaching us to help rather than us asking. There was a fire alarm set off around 4.30 in the morning and an evacuation which was very inconvenient and although it was not the fault of the premises or its employees, it gives me confidence knowing that if there was a real emergency while staying there that the system in place was adequate to get us out to safety. All in all it was close to a first class experience and as long as that is the case I will be a customer everytime I come to Wagga either for a beer, meal or the night.

Food portions are amazing but I come here for Pramuk and his amazing service. Very welcoming, even as a tourist I felt at home

Stayed at Romano's for a birthday weekend with my partner! Service was good, food was nice, bedrooms are decent. The manager Pramuk was super nice, always greeting us whenever he saw us and always had great customer service.
