Had a meal here with family. Great service with reasonable prices. The food was excellent. Can't understand why it isn't busier, although it was mid week. Hidden gem, we could actually talk and hear eachother. We are local so will be back.

Second time we have eaten here and haven’t been disappointed.|Both times we have come to Orange on a big weekend and not booked something. No idea why they are not busier!!!|Really well priced and simple tasty pub meals. |Tonight we enjoyed the steak (cooked to perfection) and a bottle of local red. Amazing to enjoy a bottle of wine and not pay a ridiculous amount over the RRP.

The ribs were great.

The Ho as us locals call it isn't what it used to be. To be charged a $10 fee just to enter is in my opinion ridiculous. Atmosphere isn't to bad, music selection isn't my forte All in all ain't bad but not like it use to be

My wife and I both ordered the ribs and they were pretty good. Order arrived quickly and was more than enough as quite a substantial meal. The place was very clean, the staff were very friendly and helpful. Would definitely return next time we're staying in Orange.

Excellent food, surprised how quiet it is. Very much a hidden gem . I had meat lovers schnitzel and it very good quality. Others had pork ribs, and barramundi and were very happy. Definitely worth a visit

Recently i ate dinner at the hotel orange restaurant and i am so disappointed. The temperature was freezing and the service took so long. we lined up on the bar and waited for 20 minutes and got no service, so had to go over to the register to order drinks just for them to go over to the bar to serve us. Waited one hour and ten minutes for our food to arrive. Expected so much more from this place as it looked cozy but i will never come here again.

Frustrated city raver stuck in Orange on a wine tasting trip - I headed into the Hotel Orange in search of some nocturnal life & soul. I was impressed with the talented & energetic DJs, the friendly staff, and the incredible vibes from everyone there. Definitely worth heading in if you find yourself in Orange on a Saturday night!

You will get lied to about having a 24hour ban ( ended up with a month), after helping a friend who was emotionally distressed, and felt extremely uncomfortable by security who tried to turn off his body camera, which I obviously asked why are you turning it off, apparently it was the wrong question to ask. He then took photos of me and my friend on his phone, then when I tried to ask why he was taking our photo, got refused an answer and told to leave it will only be a 24 hour ban, must say extremely disappointed and frustrated, as this whole situation was classed as a serious incident.

Outstanding best pub experience with fabulous cocktail choices Liquid passion, Long Island ice tea must try with amazing food best schnitzel, pork ribs and lamb shank. Most importantly best beer on tap range Stone & Wood is the winner! Night club experience has been amazing over weekend.

The food was fine, but there were a few issues. 1. We didn't receive our drinks until after the meal came out. Minor problem, but a little annoying. 2. The dining room smelt like pee. Made me feel pretty ill. 3. People smoking inside Alright for your stock standard party pub, but wouldn't recommend it for food Edit: thankyou for your passive aggressive response. I admitted in my comment the drink was a minor problem. The smell was definitely there. Did you wonder why we moved tables 3 times? The smoking was definitely in an indoor area. Not my problem if you did not notice it. Just so you are also aware though, smoking in a beer garden (which by the way, you just admitted people were doing) is actually illegal. Under the smoke free Environment Act 2000, it states smoking is banned in seated outdoor areas while food is being served. Since there is seating out there and also being next to the kitchen, do you not think this counts as a seated outdoor area food is being served? But that's fine. I'm happy to contact the authorities as required. Due to your unneeded comment and response. Gone down to 1 star. But thanks for trying anyway

Excellent food and attention to detail, as I have many good intolerances

Been out a few times to party, on each occasion the DJ that was playing in the night club upstairs for the most of the night was bloody atrocious. Had no idea how to mix or fade, and could keep a consistent BPM. Absolutely dismal performance.

Looked really nice but didn't have, and couldn't change a single lunch special to be vegetarian so we left. Even though the veggie options were the same price on the menu?

What a surprise this place is! By far the best bar in the town - great staff, great music - absolutely happy vibes. I will always attend this place whenever I am in Orange!

Awesome service as soon as we walked in the door, ordered the food which was great prices and didn't have to wait that long either to have brought to our table.. will be definitely going back again..

Stopped in here on a walk back into town for a couple of drinks. Freshly renovated pub. We were here on a Tuesday lunchtime so it was quiet. the guy at the bar was great and made the experience that much better. ||I would return for a feed next time I am in town after the friendly experience. Thanks for the friendly atmosphere.

Randomly went here on a Saturday night. They definitely gear the place to the towns younger crowd on Saturdays with plastic cups and tight security. Night club vibe (or as much as you can have in COVID with no dancing etc). Bar Staff/Security were mostly on the young side too but really reasonable and friendly. Good service at the bar. Would happily go back - imagine the vibe would be very different at other times of the week.
