Great stuff

I'm sorry, but this store has behaved retaliatory and vindictive. The store manager banning someone over 1-2 complaints to online customer service does not make someone a troublemaker and a continued troublemaker. Been shopping there since I was 15, I've been going there for the last 13 years. I don't care that you've banned me, I'll just shop with other vendors. It's your loss really and just because I ended my membership means nothing, that's a weird extra argument add to it. I ended membership in July, today is September and only now they bring it up? Store memberships are free and all it does really is keep track of past purchases and bonus trade in credit sometimes. I would have have regarded the manager and one of the other female employees are nice, it's just the other two I'm unhappy with as there is a total of four staff members. You're unhappy because I complained they didn't do their job. Online customer service provided a better resolution to a problem that the Armidale store told me there was no solution for. If I'm going to pre-order something so I have a reserved copy on release date, there shipment supply isn't there so I waited another four day's and came back to check if was there as this store suggested and it wasn't there. Canceled my pre-order, got money back and ordered direct copy later. Online customer service told me the store could just order an individual copy and ship it to the store which was a good solution as it turned up fairly quick because I didn't want to wait for a shipment that didn't have a date of arrival. When the store didn't have a solution to the problem. That's called doing your job and some of the employee's failed to do that. Store bans are reserved for people who overly violent and/or shoplift, not because they made a complaint, canceled their store membership (which is free) and that is why you banned me. It's not an acceptable reason, it's just weird. I've only been in the store 3-4 times since June, that's not excessive and only complained once. When I picked my game up last week, manager said nothing and I left after that. Banning me because you wouldn't provide a resolution, I made a complaint and had to come back later with a solution and ask you to do that instead. And if you're going to ban someone, you should tell them that, not just suprise on it them out of nowhere going in one day. I have no legal paperwork about the ban. Never mind, I'lll just buy my friends birthday gift elsewhere. I don't care about your right to refuse service, respect goes two ways too. It's not a one sided deal and you're being unreasonable alongside, unacceptable in store and employee conduct. Banning someone over one complaint and calling me a troublemaker doesn't make me a troublemaker, it's one complaint and it only happened because you didn't provide a resolution to a pre-order not arriving before.

Came in today with my two little children exited about Pokemon toys and the wonderful gentleman working Cody was very friendly very informative and obviously just a top bloke. Certainly deserves all the good reviews I've read on here. There was a young lady working there's earlier in the day too and she also was very friendly and eager to help. You've got a good team EB Armidale!

In an era of chat bots and deleted company phone numbers. To get the level of service from Cody that I got was outstanding. Great knowledge and fantastic representative of EB games.

Not enough staff

Service was great. The gent behind the desk was able to give good information and help me find what I was looking for, even though they didn't have it in-store.

Very friendly, experienced staff. Good knowledge of their products and very happy to assist wherever possible. Jake has displayed extreme patience with my children, especially when they were paying for their purchases in their pocket money (small change)

Good people and great service. I was lucky, but they had just what I wanted right when I needed it

Over the past 12 months I've had really good experiences with the staff there, the current group of people working there are fantastic. The store also has less funko pops and more hardware/accessories which is great to see.

The Manager is very knowledgeable about the games and Hardware that they sell there.

Staff on duty was not well informed about certain products. Nice selection.

Unless what you're after is on sale you're almost always better off shopping online or at Big W, but you can still sometimes find a bargain, just not on any new releases. The store is also 50% Funko pops and toys now, every year they get rid of another section and add more junk.

Don't pay in cash when you order a game, your order disappears and they keep your money.

My toddler runs into EB Games all the time, drawn by the toys and game covers, and the staff are always friendly, welcoming, and good natured. The store is bursting with options: games and merchandise. I would recommend EB Games in Armidale just for it's good vibes and warm service, oh, and they also sell games!

I don't even like games that much anymore... But the dudes working here always engage me in delightful chats that make me miss my hardcore game playing days. I would go back there just to discuss how ridiculous the Call Of Duty franchise has gotten and they'd probably enjoy the conversation too!
