A major part of the Spotlight Armidale experience is the Team. A group of exuberant, helpful, competent young people are always more than willing to help you with anything you need. They all appear to love working there, which is a credit to the management. Also they have a vast array of products to cater to everyone. I love going here !

It's not my sort of shop, mate, still it has lots of stuff. I bought an electric blanket from there a few years ago and it's still kicking. If you're into arts and crafts you'll be happy. Not impressed with the towels though, but a good towel is bloody hard to find nowadays.

Shocking customer service. I was buying some fake flowers that were advertised for buy 2 get one free. Upon scanning I was charged full price when I challenged this I was told “well that’s just how they scan, it’s only the plants in this deal.” When I said that’s not what the sign said and showed the sign the checkout operator called the manager down and I was told she’d talk to me. She totally ignored me. When I said I think you are looking for me, she turned away and said “deal with the team member.” She was rude and dismissive. Eventually I was given the flowers for the advertised price but the experience was far from pleasant and unlike any other shopping at Spotlight….very poor management to blame the scanner and not apologise to a customer.

I went down to spotlight today looking for new curtains and the sales assistant was very happy to show me an array of curtains. I was told that the choice I made might not suit and they are happy to exchange for different ones. I'm Very happy with my experience today and the service I received. Looking forward to my next shopping experience at spotlight Armidale. The staff are always willing to help you find the right staff members to suit your individual needs.

Possibly the worst run Spotlight store I have been to. The stock is limited, a lot of empty shelves and the staff I have interacted with don’t give a damn. For example when asking one if they had time to assist for they looked at their watch and said “suppose so”. Asked another staff member if they had something in stock, they looked, said “no we are out of them” and didn’t even offer to order them but told me I could get them at Bunnings. This store needs to lift its game

Articles on order nearly 4 weeks later - not one phone call.. DO NOT try to ring the Armidale NSW store as no one answers the phone... not happy

Each visit just keeps getting better! Such a great range of fabric! The homewares are outstanding, not to mention party supplies, craft and curtain department.Big shout out to the lovely staff member who assisted me with friendliness, courtesy and profesionalism. I did spend way more than planned but who can resist the great range? Also checked out their online store front and snapped up some great bargains. Shipped to me quickly, arrived well packed and in perfect order. Very happy, see you next time!

Made to Measure blind consultant was hopeless. Tried to change our appointment at the last minute three times because she couldn't remember what time she had given me. Laptop battery was flat so she couldn't give me any prices. Said she was going to come on a Public Holiday and didn't show up? Taking my money elsewhere

Staff were super helpful despite the chaos of covid checking in and millions of customers.

Special mention for Emily who helped us pick curtains. A very polite young lady with great knowledge and excellent customer service. Thank you Emily - the curtains look great !
