Went on Thursday members night 6 to 7 they bring around food to only half the punters then when you go to order off the members snack menu cos you've missed out they say sorry not available as we bought food around they start on the same side of room every time so one side of the room misses out . Will not be returning in the future other pubs don't treat people like this. One of the female staff members treats people like dirt by the way she has no name tag so we don't know her name all I know is she all speaks to us badly. If they are not going to treat everyone the same she should not be working in Hospitality. Would never recommend this hotel to anybody people go out to have fun not to be treated badly if we don't come they don't have a job. My profession was in Hospitality so I know what it takes.

While visiting family in SA we went to the O.G. Hotel for lunch on New Years Eve… The venue was lovely and relaxing we were lost for words with best Beef Schnitzel we’ve ever had! We absolutely loved the feel of the place with good old fashioned customer service. The staff were so attentive to everyone in the bistro!! We will definitely be back and make this a regular stop on our next visit to SA 👍🏻😃

Xmas day lunch 2nd seating. 6 people 2 served lunch roast turkey with Pork but received no pork. 15 mins later another roast arrived, 5mins later 1 barramundi arrived with another roast 10 mins later the last roast arrived. toilets in such a mess not what you want to see or smell any time.

Had never been here before, from always driving past on the North East Road side I always thought it looked quite dull, but after attending, it certainly isn’t. Great pub, great food, great prices, great atmosphere. Pretty much perfection.

Scotch fillet steak was an extremely tender piece of meat packed full of flavour. Vegetables were cooked perfectly. A great afternoon at the O.G

9/2/23 I usually like the OG Hotel. Tonight the food was as usual; good. However the girl who took my food order was really rude tonight. Seething with sarcasm. No need for that. Didn't get my drinks, didn't give me cutlery. Gave me incorrect info about kitchen times. Then we went to the pokie room. Music was SO LOUD and rubbish.

bartenders are amazing, foods great, and the general feel is great. could do with another pool table tho 🤣

Extremely disappointed we waited nearly 50mins for our meal. We had to ask if our meal was coming only to find out it was not order, paid for but not ordered. Left disappointed ☹️

A moderate sized group arrived for lunch after a funeral and nothing was too hard for the staff. The service was friendly and nothing was too difficult. The food was well presented and tasted great. Would definitely go back and would recommend

Extremely rude staff...clearly don't know how to smile. Meal was not what we ordered. When questioned was given a rude grunt as a response. Used to be a good pub but bad staff equals bad service, food not up to par. No wonder the dining room was empty.

Worse meal I have had in a long time. Presentation was poor, everything over cooked, meals were very a poor standard. Not going back

Great outdoor area. Had some lunch Friday and a couple of froths. Highly recommend the OG whilst waiting for your car to be detailed across the road. 👍

Called in to the OG for a pub meal in the front bar on the way home the other night. Staff that were on that night were extremely arrogant and rude. When we asked for cutlery (which should have been provide when the meal was paid for), it was almost too hard for the staff and all we got was a Black look for disturbing them. Will not be back!!!!

I've ordered many meals to pick up from here over the past month, because I've been very sick. All of them have been lovely until tonight. I ordered roast of the day. The meat was tough, no roast potatoes and barely enough gravy to cover the meat. Also ordered beef parmi. I got crumbed steak with no parmi sauce. It was dry and not nice. Paid good money for this rubbish and we're still hungry. Not good enough and will now find somewhere else to order from. OG Hotel is losing a good customer.

We come to the OG with a family of 5+ for birthdays. While the food was great, one meal was completely missed and when followed up still took a further more than a half hour to have it brought out. Really disappointing as we had all finished before my dad’s meal was brought out. 30 minutes after we finished we still had not received the meal. My father did not want to sit there and eat while we had all finished. Not a great standard to have and looks like we will reschedule our booking to another pub with better service next month.

We were satisfied by the service and the meal on our most recent visit. One talking point was the unusual" pricing on the menu ie I had a snitzel parmigiana and it was $27.88 if I recall. Several other meals had this type of pricing also. On the menu it had something about fluctuating meat prices hence the price. Why not just put it up to $27.90 🤷‍♂️"

Nice pub at Klemzig on OG Road. Was great value Parmi and Beer $ 19.90. Hard to find those prices these days around Adelaide. Pictures are of the front bar eating area. Very clean and service was great. Def a good place for a meal if you’re near by.

I have had many meals here for multiple different reasons. I think the meals are very filling, great value for money. Warm and inviting environment, and the staff are always happy and helpful.

A good clean hotel with lots of food choices.. they have weekday specials that would be interesting to try .. we even stayed for the quiz night which was well attended.. I didn’t do well with the quiz 😂 would recommend.

Attend here regularly with a brain injury support group. Had a booking for 20. A large walk in group was seated at the same time. We were forced into the outside area as this walk in group was very rowdy and we couldn’t hear anyone. Waited 75mins for our food. When we queried this wait time they said they were busy and we felt like they prioritised the walk in over our regular group booking. The chef scoffed at our concern over the wait time. When the meals came out they were nearly inedible. There was chewing gum in one of the “clean” napkins. We tried to address all this on the spot but our concerns were brushed off. Phoned on the way home and the Bistro manager was apologetic. Offered us a $150 voucher to come back and let them get it right. She said she was putting it in the mail That day. 7 weeks, 2 Facebook messages and 4 phone calls later we are still waiting. Maybe they think “brain injury group - they will forget” Well we haven’t. And this treatment is disgusting.

I still like this place but I used to absolutely love it before COVID. Seemed to change quite a bit after that with no salad bar and steeper pricing (which the latter has naturally come about with inflation I understand but it is a fairly decent difference on the pockets). The meals are still very generous and delicious but much smaller servings of sauces that you now pay for separately instead of them being included in the meal (for example chicken schnitzel with Dianne sauce). I would be very pleased if the salad bar came back though, that would get it back to 5 stars for me :) Still very friendly and helpful staff! Will always have a soft spot for this restaurant as I have come here for many family meals over the span of about 15 or so years.

Had lambs fry, it was very dry not sure why they crumb it and serve with salad as mashed potatoes and gravy doesn't go with salad.

A nice atmosphere with warm & friendly staff. Bangers & mash was perfect and the roast lamb just fell apart - need a return visit to sample more of the menu 😋

Great little spot for the average pub grub. Front looks deceiving but in entry it’s a revamped space with beer garden at back. Staff are friendly and helpful. Quizz nights service needs a little improvement. Meals were late or forgotten, items missing with meals but was quickly rectified by friendly staff. Servings are great, meals tasted average. Ample parking at rear Accessible parking and entrance ramp at rear

Had roast of the day, vegetables were undercooked and served as big chunks. I’ve tried the steak sandwich and it was okay. Chips were undercooked. This place looked nice but the food is not worth the price, go to the Hampstead cafe for better food and affordable prices

The food was tasty and filling, the salad bar was excellent and drink prices was the same as other hotels. Not a bad place to meet and enjoy dinner.

Ordered a strawberry milkshake…. Ended up getting a cup full of ice and milk and a strawberry jello floating on top

$45 eye fillet. I know it’s not going to be a big steak but geez, this was the smallest eye fillet I’ve ever had. Gravy tasted like water. Still seriously hungry. Wish we had gone to the pizza shop down the road.

Lunched there with friends recently. Had the chilli prawns, chorizo and Sun dried tomato pasta which was delicious. Great regular menu , seniors menu and daily specials. Well priced. Good size serves.

A pleasant experience, but MASSIVE portions. I chose a simple chicken parmigiana and the size of the chicken on my plate was scary. Impossible to eat it all and it covered the chips that came with it, making it a bit of a soggy mess. Friendly and quick service and the price range is the average pub range. Overall a pleasant enough experience, aside from the enormous portion size. I know it sounds funny, since normally people complain about the opposite.
