One of the best sporting clubs i have visited. Pristine 18 hole golf course, 3 outside bowls greens and a croquet area surrounding the country clubhouse that looks over the Mersey River. The clubhouse has golf shop, a bar and several reception rooms. The 8 indoor bowls rinks are well appointed, Most impressive.

Fantastic. we stayed last night after arriving on the Spirit of Tasmania. John came over to welcome us, we saw wallabies in the car park ..and so good that our dog was welcome ( he particularly liked it after being cooped up for 12 hours ) then my husband played 9 holes of golf here early in the morning. So welcoming..and only $10 ! Highly recommend!

Husband ordered Thai Beef Salad. Pretty average. I ordered Lamb Burger. Very tasty, but it looked sad on the plate. No garnish, nothing special.

Disgraceful waited so far 45 min for meal still don't have it. People who asked for our specials menu have been eating for 20 mins. Finished their meal. Still don't have ours. Out of here. Not good enough In response to your reply: You should train your staff to tell the truth. Yes I demanded a refund but was never going to stay and eat the food. We were out of there. Yes did say I was going to write a review. Facts!

Great venue

The atmosphere just wonderful and lushness

Nicely kept 18 hole course. I'm a hack, so I'm no judge of real golf courses but I do enjoy playing here. The greens are usually to a high standard as are the fairways. Pricing is on the high side for golf on the coast

Great place. The golf course looks fantastic as does the indoor bowls area. We went there for a meal only - the Sports bar is great overlooking the indoor bowls rinks, terrific venue, friendly staff and reasonable prices. Highly recommend.

We are fulltime traveller's, unfortunately our trip around Tasmania is coming to the end. We have parked up at the Devonport Country Club before catching the ferry on Monday night. 15th April. Allowed to stay here for 7 nites. At $10 per nite. No bathroom, only toilets on camp ground. Nice and quite at night time but very busy during the day, with cars, vans and motorhomes coming and going. Inside the club is quite nice. Sports bar, restaurant, conference room, function room, inside lawn bowls green, 2 outside lawn bowls greens, and also the golf course. My hubby loves his golf, so he has been playing every afternoon. No mornings, as there are comps every day. Takes about 7 to 10 minutes to drive into the city or to the ferry. Great spot!

Meals not good roast pork which was meal of the day, very hard and chewy, apple and cream was like a cheap one out of the box, not good Devonport Country Club, where's the manager, get up, try, tast give direction, you are letting the team down. Five stars to all the staff, nice friendly and helpful, well done.

First time back in over 30 years. Great new improvements. Always a great golf course.

My wife and I played in a golf event there recently. The golf course was challenging. The administration was excellent, and the front of house and bar/bistro staff were 10/10. Plenty parking and an RV self contained park a bonus. VG pro shop.

Solid small town club. Currently fairways are very dry and not up to par. Greens are very quick . Very worth a visit.

We stayed a night at the camping ground. Beautiful clean place w a clean toilet. There is a water outlet too. The Ranger comes around twice a day to check on the camping ground n to collect the $10 camping fees.

Meals were great at the bistro also a great place for functions. I'm not a golfer but it looks like nice enough cause, the grounds and settings are good.

Greatvplace to stay $10 a night. Second night you getaway $10 credit to spend inside. Food is slightly on the expensive side but the voucher helps.

A fabulous find. Club members very friendly. We camped in our motorhome. Unfortunately restaurant wasn't open.

I had a delightful experience at the Devonport Country Club tonight. The fish & chips dinner and raspberry drink were not only delicious but also reasonably priced. I must commend the excellent service provided by the lady who attended to me. Being anaphylactic to garlic, I requested her assistance in ensuring my food was garlic-free, and she handled it with utmost professionalism. Her friendly demeanor added to the overall positive experience. I highly recommend this establishment for a tasty meal and exceptional service.

Our Sports Car club opted for the Country Club as a lunch venue yesterday for the first time. Great service, very nice and well priced meals and lovely venue. We'll return here.

25% increase in fees. Time's are hard ican except that but it is hard. But To put a bar charge of$100. To be payed with your feed when you don't go to the bar . Totally wrong . Back mail if you don't pay that $100 you don't play. Other might be well.

We enjoyed our first visit to the Country Club! The staff were great, we really enjoyed our dinner. Plenty of space for large groups, might want to book ahead just in case. We definitely will be back.

Very open plan. Quite busy so a bit of a wait for meals. The chicken snitty was excellent and salad dressing next level.

Meal was nice but part of it was forgotten, because it wasn't taken with our order. Beautiful views but floor was very dirty
