Came here for lunch. Food was good and a good range. Major problems trying to pay on the way out as they had only 1 cashier, so 20 minutes in the queue just to pay. Payment should either be made prior to eating or have more staff to cater for the line. Additionally, they wouldnt accept my Federal Rewards card 10% discount as my card hasnt been swiped in the last month" Thats ridiculous."

We celebrated our mum’s 90th birthday at the Casino Country Club, and we couldn’t be happier with how everything turned out. We go here quite often and can easily say we come out full and satisfied every time! Honestly, where else would you find a good spread of savoury and sweet with something for everybody at around $30? The malt choc pudding was super and the staff are always very friendly and attentive!

Not as good as last visit .Hot food was cold eg vegetables and gnocchi inedible, salads good ,prawns were always empty ,prawn salad and mussels were good malteser roulade and trifle was delicious. Long queues limiting time to get service. Coffee machines both out of order for quite a while.

$131 for a family for breakfast. Daylight robbery. 5 of us arrived to be told very rudely by Aeryk, 'you need to book for a large group, we have one available space'. I didn't realise 5 was classed as large. We were there for about an hour and there were approx 10 empty, non reserved tables that could have accommodated us. A nice selection of warm food. Definitely not hot. Very disappointed for the price and shocking customer service. Unfortunately Links is not what is once was.

Everything about this Buffet is joyful! From the moment you walk through the door, the staff greet you with the warmest welcome and the largest smiles. The food is presented beautifully, you would think it walked off the pages of a magazine. The chefs go out of their way to tend to every desire. The selection of food is amazing, and the dessert buffet would make Willy Wonka himself proud. The food was tempered perfectly and tasted delightful. My compliments to everyone who works at this establishment. I can't recommend highly enough!

Country Club is an amazing resort, and this Restuarant serves buffet Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner. Spread is modest and basic but food quality is healthy and fresh.

Had a great lunch food was lovely especially the fish and chips. Staff were excellent. Had my 70th birthday here (I took my own cake )they bought my cake out on a plate with plates and cutlery . Will be back again. Regards Julie

Horrible experience. Took a long time to get drinks and the selection of food was horrid. Very few choices and they were all cheap options like pasta, potato and some very watered down beef in a horrible marinade. I was not impressed

I have always been a big fan of links. Unfortunately, it is not the same anymore. The service is just not there. A lot of the food was dry and overcooked. We went to get pancakes and they were overcooked and dry and there were about 4 sitting there. We thought they might put out some fresh ones. 30 mins later there were still the same 3 shrivelled pancakes still sitting there. There was no cream to have with them. We asked for cream and were given a little jug with runny cream in it. Very disappointing. :(

Delicious buffet for breakfast. So many options, everything you could think of. Classics like bacon and eggs multiple ways, plus sides like tomato, mushroom, baked beans, pancakes, hashbrowns, toast, fruit and granola. Staff are friendly and tentative. A nice place to come if you are staying at the Casino, or just to treat yourself to a nice breakfast.

All you can eat tea, if there's something you don't like grab something else. Plenty to choose from. Service was close to excellent. Well done to the Manager for the obvious excellent training.

Links has gone down hill. Not a big selection of food..very poor quality of food. NO SEAFOOD dish..vegetables over cooked. No crackling with 2 slices of pork...sweet selection..NO fruit or fruit salad..poor selection of sweets. We had lunch there..over priced for the selection of food..they put everything on trays proped up on tins. Staff were very polite and friendly... I will Not go back.

Pretty lacklustre the ol Links these days. Hot food is ‘ok’ for a buffet style but depends on the month and themes that are running. Desert section is very ordinary now. Most of it just slices and easily prepared items which are flavourless. Probably all bought in nowadays. The place was hardly full when we arrived and it’s only open for dinner a few nights a week now…wonder why… Not good value or quality, go elsewhere.

Has gone down hill over the years. Went at 7.30pm. Some food was already empty eg prawns. Was only filled up once during the sitting. Other hot foods like roast veg, greens, chicken were empty and not refilled shortly into the sitting. Same goes for the dessert section. Slow at refilling if at all. The chocolate fountain was broken so I had to dip it in the base which was full of fallen off fruit and marshmallows. Yum. The buffet was closed at 8.30 which only gives you 1 hour sitting. Save your $50 and go somewhere else for much more tastier and higher quality food.

Very disappointed, I should have left after looking at the buffet. Most of the desserts had eggs or nuts. $79 for two buffets and two soft drinks. Way over priced for very ordinary food.

We came very late, almost closing time as we got lost, our GPS connection stopped at some point so hub made the wrong turn. Signs to the club are not very visible too. Food wise, they're ok. The salad we're fresh, the roasts we're a bit dry and not as tender than I would hope. We were hoping to sample the Filipino buffet which was advertised in the email I got being a member of Wrest Point but only the very savoury garlic rice and crema de fruta dessert had hints of Filipino influence. Service wise, staff are more attentive and friendly than those in Wrest Point. They seem to be be jollier too perhaps because there are fewer patrons? Wrest Point is often full of people so we don't go there often enough and I used to watch shows there pre Covid. This place is smaller and easier to navigate inside, love the wooden staircase too, might even stay here next time we're in Launceston! I still rang to make a booking but was told if we were on the way, just get in and they can accommodate us. We arrive close to closing time of 2 pm, maybe they should extend to 2:30 as there were still who came around 1:45. We came about past 1 and there was no more hot water for our hot drinks but hub got hot milk with his coffee and he loved it, he had two cups, he didn't eat much as he was a bit annoyed getting lost.) The ambience here is better than at Wrest Point too, having fewer people compared to the Hobart one. We'll be back and hope we don't get lost anymore!

We booked in for their Christmas Day dinner and didn’t know what we were in for and all I can say is O.M.G..it was AMAZING, it was also my partners 60th birth and it was so well worth it, we got the courtesy bus from just down the road a their villas where we were staying so we could have a few drinks, the food was great, the staff were friendly, the amount of food was always topped up regularly and we walked out of there about 5 kg heavier 🤣, then the courtesy bus took us straight to the door of our room..Well worth the money and we are definitely going back to this all you can eat place. 😁

I would really describe this as more of a cafeteria than a buffet because the way it is arranged you need to queue and they serve one person at a time. The whole nature of a buffet is that you can access any part at any time, but this is not organised like this. We had close to an hour's wait. The food is reminiscent of the 70s, eg undressed salads, sugary desserts, unripe fruit. A lack of care of quality, more mass-produced feel.

Had the buffet breakfast and it was incredible! Food was kept fresh and service was fantastic! Quite a few options (hot and cold). We left full and will definitely be back again!! Has to be the best part of our stay 😍

I am there now and I am so very very disappointed. Tried the dolmades. Toughest vines and dry rice I havevever tasted The tomato based Greek salad looks like it has seen better days. I am told it was made this morning but I know what a fresh tomato looks like and I am sure it’s not this furry the chicken is dry what I thought was Potato salad us potato and tuna. All the same grey colour and tastes like a MacDonald gherkin The coleslaw looks unhealthy and the black veg in with the beetroot I have no idea what it is. The chicken is dry. The potatoes and an olive so far the only edible thing on my plate. I have totally wasted my money. I will improve a little as I went and complained and was given todays salad as opposed to yesterdays which I was first told was todays but the chef was lovely showed me the fresh tub waiting for tonight. But waiting for tonight in a tub behind the counter not in a fridge so what that will be like in another 8 hours at room temp is debatable

First time we've been in a while and definitely the last time we'll ever go back. Price have inflated substantially from what they used to be, and the food (and especially the dessert) selection has dwindled. Service was sparse and not exactly inviting or friendly, but I still can't get over the exorbitant cost for such a lackluster selection nowadays. Specific examples: Crab legs had 100% been frozen and refrozen as they had flaked inside the shell and impossible to extract. Chicken was dry and their ribs were lacking in flavour once you dig through the bbq alop they were swimming in. Desserts held little variety and were honestly quite flavour less. The crumble tasted like dough, and the chocolate flan slice tasted of plain egg and nothing else. Nearly $50 a head for what is maybe less than half of what they used to have in terms of both quantity and quality... Absolute rip off (I literally had to request a receipt to find the price breakdown when they announced the total).

Had lunch on the 3 August 2022 the menu had just changed from xmass in July which was average but the Texas menu was great best buffet I had great salads and the beef ribs were so good as was the brisket. I live in Hobart but I will definitely be driving up again while this menu theme is on

Christmas in July, what was Xmas about it a few baubles in a jar or a star above the buffet or maybe the pole at reception. No festive anything or anywhere the same old tasteless dry food, definitely not worth the price of $100 for two. We left very disappointed and we won’t be back.

Went to link restaurant over all the food was bad,soup was and looked shocking, only one sort of carvery meat which was fatty creasy so called lamb. Desert was bad the custard out of a packet. Worst buffet meal ever! Very little variety, hot food was NOT HOT and only one selection of meat & very little of that! The salad selection was terrible, and desserts weren't any better! Should have stayed downstairs, at least there was a choice of menu!

Terrible and not worth over $50 for breakfast plus a 15% holiday surcharge. I love my bacon cooked up but it was so tough and dry I couldn't eat it but note they where happy to cook fresh bacon 😊 But I found all of breakfast items saturated in oil I didn't eat it so just had yogurt and salad but over 50 dollars yeah I've given this place too many tries I was going to come for Easter Dinner but I think I'll save my money and cook at home. Very disappointed for a flagship venue.

Went there for a birthday lunch last Thursday. Buffet spread was not as diverse as I was anticipating. The items selected were tasty and cooked as should be. Missed the Roast Pork - chef was waiting for someone to ask for it before putting it in its place, so many left without selecting the pork. A comedy of errors. Sadly the pavlova was a standout - so much cream and unable to find the actual pavlova. The smaller dessert samplings were far superior to the pav. The staff service was ok. Always like to check the disabled toilets for suitability and this was first rate. Will return to see how different it is at other times.

Visiting from NSW our hosts suggested Links for dinner. Worst buffet we have ever experienced, food was barely warm, very little variety, dessert bar was terrible, cakes and slices looked like they were from the supermarket, custard was out of a carton. The waitress was hovering waiting for our plates and was taking them before our last mouthful was finished , probably bored because the place was not even half full on a Friday evening. Cost us $45 a head, biggest rip off ever. Bye bye Country Club Casino, you present a beautiful destination but your catering lets you down.

The attitude of the breakfast buffet chef was horrible. I took a hash brown and noticed a bug in it. When I showed it to the chef, instead of apologising, he just asked if we would like another one.

Family excited to go here for dinner on a Saturday night, it was a terrible buffet meal. The chicken and sweetcorn soup, I think it had been there all week. The prawns had no flavour, like they were cooked in fresh water - very disappointed. The crabs, disgusting. They were as if they had been refrozen a couple of times. Crab meat? No flesh meat at all, it was just white paste!!! Ham was overcooked and dry, very hard to swallow. Sweet section??? Iced vovo biscuits and lamingtons. Come on!!! Very disappointed. Lift your game Links!!

Went for the 730pm buffet. Wasn't rushed out and the food was fresh and very well put together. Waitress forgot about us and did not take our drink order. But was pleasantly surprised when another waitress noticed and compensated us for the delay. Discount was also applied for having a rewards card. Very happy overall and will dine there again. Very covid safe and everyone well spaced apart.

Food was extremely disappointing, and the service was not good either. Nice view, and the food didn't make us physically ill, hence the two stars.

Seafood buffet was fresh, well made and delicious, with plenty of options. Would definitely go again. Mila our server for dinner and breakfast was an absolute delight, and was a nice change to have genuine service. Patrick helped unflinchingly with an unusual drinks order. Well done. Covid safety was observed without being intrusive. Would happily come back again.
