Food always great, nice beer garden, giant menu, friendly staff at The Mersh.

Nice pub, meals were nice but not fancy 😄

Not a great experience. I got kicked out of the mersh after having what maybe 3 drinks then when i asked why to bouncers they completely ignored me and wouldn't look at me then got angry when I tapped their shoulder to get their attention,was also told shut the f up by one when I asked for someone to get my friend from inside as my phone was dead and I was scared out front alone.

The bar staff here are normally missing during the day. The drinks are pretty roughly priced in some instances, and the food is using store-bought sauces. On a Friday or Saturday night they need to discriminate with who they are letting into the pub, as it turns into a dive that the entire suburb recommends everyone stays away from. That's just bad for business. Fixing your reputation might have to start from within.

Terrible customer service. Always came across as an inconvenience when we ordered, including eye rolling while slamming down eftpos machine. The bar tender even had the pleasure to tell us he had gout.. 😳

Sadly gone down hill, We have been going to The Mersh for a long long time now, was great food, grilled barramundi veg, Boags Draught on tap, 8 ball table, went there for tea the other night, after a few mths break, $10 for a Schooner of beer (what a rip off) MOWBRAY HOTEL $6.50, ST LEONARDS $7.60 food portion was alot SMALLER also, very dissapointed, never to return

No words the picture says it all have eaten here in the past and always had great meals until now. Out of fear of food poisoning

Good value, old school pub food. The place is a bit bleak and dark but again, it is a pub. We stopped in at around 6pm on a Saturday night and got the last non reserved table, so I recommend booking. Ordered the fish tacos but they were out of wraps, shortly after staff came to the table next to us to say they had run out of steak. At 6.15pm on a Saturday. We had barely put our cutlery down before staff were there to take our plates away. We would go back as I think you'd struggle to find anywhere with such generous meals at 2010 prices.

I had the steak medium rare, which was very nice at a good price . Beer was cold at a good price. I had a play on the pokies, but I wished I had talked to locals first They said it's notorious for not paying out .

Just had the best mixed grill I have had. The food was cooked perfect and the meat wasn't cheap cuts. I 100% recommend if your in town, stop in for a feed.

I called into the beer garden on a Sunday afternoon for a pint, great spot, a big screen TV good for sport, staff very friendly and helpful

Pizza was ment to be supreme but just really alot of tomato paste,capsicum and ham,price on website was outdated and when I queried I got told it's changed on Facebook but haven't got around to changing on website.when u google it goes to there site so who's to know its outdated.very dissatisfied and will not return.$32 for takeaway pizza and garlic bread is just OTT.

Was there to bring in the New Year. Great atmosphere and electrifying vibe. Glad I was here. The staff were amazing.

Great food, great stuff.

Very bad bar, terrible service, aggressive and poorly behaved guards. Also, they don't let you enter with shorts, and if you ask why, they get aggressive and want to hit you. Bad experience

Really nice food, nice service and very good wheelchair access

Good location, easily accessible and the staff were wonderful. The food was great from what my kids and family have experienced and the scotch fillet was brilliant. The quality of most the meals was acceptable and very affordable for families and people on a budget. The kids loved the burgers and Pizzas. Some of the food seemed to be frozen vegs but we have been on holidays all week and could not complain because we missed having meat and veg. The facilities need a tidy up and revamp, parking is off street and there is a little around.

The local duck & weave. Great selection of liquid boxing gloves. If you can get past the smell of urinal cakes (I certainly can), you'll find a great atmosphere. The security guards are a bit racist. But it's ok, I'm white

Cheap parmi night is well worth it.

Used to go here for lunch. Over the last few months the food has gone from semi ok to the strong taste of old oil. Service has plummeted. Today was the last time I'll set foot in there. Went in to buy a can of red bull on my break. Was told to go to the bar as the bistro was closed. Stood at the bar for about 5 minutes. Staff members knew i was there. Rang the bell no service what so ever.

My family's experience was very pleasant. Ordered pizza and nachos to share between 3 adults which was more than enough and really enjoyable. The staff were friendly and greeted us well. Other meals looked nice too and prices were good. Would come back again

The Commercial Hotel offer value packed counter meals at affordable prices and for a pub meal has a large menu.

There is so much negativity around the dirty merch but we just love it. The staff the food just everything, we bring everyone here.
