By far the best pub meal I have had in a long time! The salt & pepper calamari melted in your mouth and tasted fantastic! Making this pub our regular !

Great pub food. Not flash but solid meal. Had Roast lamb..good value for money. Generous portion size, extra mint sauce no trouble. The vegetables were all cooked well. My Nana would have been impressed, so that's a big big compliment. Also the wait was about right, we could tell kitchen was busy with orders and the waitress advised of a wait , in fact 14 minutes so quicker than we were told. So happy about that. Snuck in one beer before our meal and no room for dessert 🍪🎂 so next time , will have the beer after the dessert. Will go back.

Just stumbled on this hotel,it was a Tuesday night they have $15 chicken schnitzel chips and salad definitely value for money.

The lady that makes cocktails left by about 6pm (on a Saturday night!) and the bar guy was not allowed to make them as he does a bad job (apparently). I had a Parma which was really good, but my friends ordered steak and said it was pretty average. Nice enough, but nothing special on the pub front.

Happened to stop for a drink and meal before an airport drop off, table of 3 loved all our meals, can see why it was busy. Really appreciated the knowledgeable and friendly bistro all-rounder looking after us.

Beautiful meals, option of small meals and regular which is fabulous and the young guy “Cody”that works the bistro is a breathe of fresh air so funny it’s uplifting he communicates with everyone .

The best place for a meal if you are gluten free, a huge range to choose from on the menu, very yummy food and the service is always brilliant

We went there for a evening meal, we had booked a table for four. When we went to order our meals they told us there was no steaks at all no roasts. This was at 6pm. Due to a big lunch crowd, surely between 2pm and 6pm they could have organised some more steaks from a butcher seeing as they were booked out that night as well

The best food and amazing staff!! They all treat my Grandma like she's part of the family, I know they will continue to look after her when I go back home to Qld. Cody is an absolute darling, he takes the time and effort with all the oldies and always brings a smile to their faces! Will miss having lunch with Grandma and the pavs the best I've ever had!!! 🥰

My family has enjoyed every meal, from the Stir-fry to the Garlic Prawns or the good old Schnitzel. Plus.. Their chef uses Ice Berg lettuce in their salads, which is is big ++ from me. I don't like the packet stuff. 👍👍

this little pub in south launceston is lovely. the ambience of the bistro is 5 star quality as is the food served and the lovely staff. would def recommend, we will be back :) 5 star all the way :)

Fabulous place for a coeliac! 100% gluten free schnitzel and chips and sooo good. Even yummy desserts…too good to pass up. Waiter was delightful and extremely helpful with my dietary requirements. Definitely go back!
