Good location, priced accordingly. Very average overall, you get what you pay for.

Bus tour was booked at this hotel for Rooms and Dinner. Room were clean tidy and comfortable, ensuite is basic. However, what spoilt our stay was the balls up at dinner time. Really disappointed the meal service. I hope the tour guides got a good explanation.

Central location and very tidy hotel. Conveniently had a vending machine in the lobby. Rooms were modern with nice bedside lamps and wooden drawers and tables. Comfortable desk chair and bed. Had a few amenities in the room, bathroom seemed to be quite old school with shower over bath setup but it was clean. Definitely would stay again

Chambres correctes sans plus, salle de bains un peu datée, parking à 10 euros, mais emplacement non garanti !?! Point fort, on est en plein centre ville. Petit-déjeuner buffet, très correct (deux prix différents). Dîner au restaurant de l'hôtel avec un vrai tramway dans la salle. Bonne qualité mais attention aux horaires, ils ferment à 19h30 !

Nice place to drop into for a short stay. Did not eat there as pricing seemed a little excessive for a hotel. Rooms were great bathrooms were dated but functional. All in all acceptable for the standard.

A decent hotel with a great location. The room was simple and lacked many amenities, but everything functioned properly. If you’re only looking for a place to sleep, this is a good choice. The only downside was the bathroom fan, which made a loud and unpleasant noise.

Tout est très bien : chambre spacieuse et calme, bon emplacement, petit déjeuner continental buffet très bon. Il faut faire le check-in soit même sur une tablette, pas cool pour un hôtel de cette catégorie.

Das Zimmer war „okay“ - schon ziemlich abgenutzt v.a. das Tagesbett neben dem Doppelbett. Das Bett war angenehm zum schlafen mit dicker, weicher Decke. Alles war sauber bis auf eine schmutzige Kaffeetasse. Das Bad etwas unansehlich und alt. Mich störte dass das Duschgel nur mit viel Kraft aus einem Behälter an der Wand gepresst werden musste und der Duschkopf fesr an der Wand montiert war. Das Beste am Aufenthalt war der sehr, sehr nette und fröhliche Receptionist und die Lage.

Convinent location to go around. Lots of options for food. Parking spots are not enough as the parking lots are shared with general public also.

Rooms were nice, spacious and comfortable. Spa in the room was very enjoyable. Breakfast was not very good

This hotel is very dirty. When we checked in, we found out that the room was not thoroughly cleaned. There are white spots on one of the chairs. The tea spoons seemed to have been used without cleaning. Part of the bathroom is rusty. We left very expensive belonging in the room, and specifically asked for no room service. The receptionist said ok and made a call to record our request. Guess what? They still had our room cleaned. They moved our things around and didn't even change the bed. Avoid like a plague. This hotel is garbage.

The room was not clean, there were crumbs all over the floor.|The hot water in the shower and basin took 10 minutes to heat up. I was able to write this whilst waiting for the shower to heat up, and even then the hot water was only luke warm on the two days I stayed at the hotel.|There were long black hairs on the towels, on the shower walls and blocking the shower waste trap. My father has grey hair and I am blonde.|The vent did not work in the bathroom which meant that you couldn't immediately use the mirror in the bathroom.|The fixed squeeze bottle in the shower with flowing soap was empty.|I would have expected a USB plug in the room however there wasn't one.|There is a cost of $10 per evening for car parking.|Ryan, the receptionist on our first evening, was the only aspect of the hotel that I would rate highly. He was friendly, informative and spent the time with me when I told him that I was travelling with my 87 year old father with dementia and wanted to know what we could do in Launceston where my father would not have to walk far.

Took the family room and was shocked by the dust when we walked in. WiFi doesn’t work at all .

人生最不好的住宿體驗！ 👉隔音效果非常差、聽得到飆車族還有對面夜店的聲音，一路吵到凌晨11點多⋯ 👉而且住了兩天一夜，房間完全沒有被打掃到！也只會官方回覆說已經晚上了沒辦法打掃⋯ 👉WIFI也很不穩定，常常都連不上，好不容易連上網速也很慢 👉早餐菜色也很少，甚至會有全空的狀況，要等他補⋯補菜的速度當然也是很慢！ 如果可以有0顆星，這絕對是0分的住宿體驗：）

Very nice hotel with affordable price. The location is very good. The staff are very kind. we can hear some noise on the street in the middle of the night.

飯店問題一大堆，隔壁酒吧跟改裝車整晚吵的要死，反應了只會給罐頭回覆，房間還連飯店的wifi都連不上，也沒有任何飯店人員要來協助確認，住兩晚客房人員完全沒來打掃，早餐自助吧種類少但尚可接受，一星是google的極限，不是BWP的極限

Hotel is tad bit old. But decent enough. Very spacious room. Some of the recept are nice. But most of them arent very accommodating. Sad.

Very nice place in Launceston

Went there for breakfast. Have not been for may years. It was a good variety for what you got But just not as relaxing as it once was.

It was a bit annoying checking in Parking is $10 a day Location is good Food is expensive for what you get so I would try elsewhere first The shower that I had had very little pressure I’ll probably wouldn’t stay here again unless you get a good price The bed is really comfortable and the room size was decent Not soundproof you can hear a lot of the street noise from outside

Always a great stay at the Best Western in Launceston. It's a great location. It can get noisy in the mornings with the council cleaning the streets but I guess they can't help that but the bathrooms are looking extremely tired, I find the shower over the bath is dangerous and dated.

Great location to get to shops, restaurants, Coles and Woolworths. All within walking distance with two beautiful parks nearby. Sam is great on the front desk. Very polite and friendly. Good sized room with kettle, hairdryer, iron, tea and coffee and fridge.

We spent one night here. The location is great as it is close to the airport, just a 15-minute drive from the hotel. The building and its interior are quite old. One thing that bothers me is that they didn’t change the toilet paper, which gives an impression that the hotel doesn’t emphasize much on hygiene. It’s a place to stay at if you are on a budget.

Perfect location in the city. However staying on a Saturday night, there were a lot of noisy cars at night, reviving their engines.

My credit card was hacked just within couple hours after the receptionist took it for checking in. Luckily we always locked the online payment from card. Many tries were declined by our bank. We have to change card after staying here.

Near CBD and also the city park so you could go for a morning walk and enjoy a breakfast afterwards.

Easy check-in process and parking around the back of the hotel. We were on the 6th floor by the lifts but we didn’t hear any noise as we’d expected to. The room was large enough for our 2 night stay. Our bathroom was dated but clean. We appreciated the coffee pods. Unfortunately we were at the front of the hotel and on Saturday night the noise from the boy racer cars was terrible and went on for hours. The hotel isn’t responsible for this but it did spoil our nights sleep.

Had my husband's 70th birthday party here. The staff were excellent, and catered to all our needs.

The cleanliness of the bathrooms was rather poor. There was hair (not just from your head if you know what I mean) along the bathroom floor and the wall. There was built up dust along the sink, toilet and skirting of the shower. The beds were surprisingly comfortable but there was also hair underneath the pillows and stains on the quilt. The location of the hotel was probably the best thing because we were able to get everywhere we need to quite efficiently. They were able to check us in a couple of hours earlier as we had an early flight, but we walked into the bathroom and just felt dirty.

The rooms are nice but the bathrooms are terrible with useless showers! The curtains in the first room they gave us would not close, letting in lots of light. Second room had a tiny bath with a shower curtain. Why does any hotel still have these? Good service. Great location.

Bed was comfortable, and thats it.|Room was not great, towel rack broken, paint chipped off everywhere, dusty everywhere, TV not working, forgot to clean room, lift not working. Not impressed! Restaurant staff however, were lovely and food was great.|Quite disappointing.

The domestic aircon did little to cool down rooms.

Our room wasn't what we expected for the price. The bedroom section was ok bathroom was very outdated, the bath which we were expecting a spa was suitable for a toddler and the detail of cleanliness wasn't there. The best part was the location. It's in the heart of Launceston which we really liked. Customer service was lovely. Our view was overlooking a carpark.

Pretty happy with stay. Above our room was noisy children jumping around and was really loud. Tried to stop the beds on wheels from moving around but no success. I had a phone charging by my bed, l staff made the new and pushed it into the charger, completely damaging it. Cataract gorge(short drive 10-15mins), city park and many stores nearby

Although not a very regular visitor to Launceston I have to say that over the years that I have visited I have always stayed at the Best Western, even when I look at booking somewhere else 'just for a change' I still get drawn back to this hotel.||Always a good room rate available with or without breakfast included compared to quite a few other options and such a convenient central CBD location everything is so accessible no need to drive anywhere unless you're heading out of the city.|Used the BW as our base for visiting both QVMAG locations, Cataract Gorge, the cinema, historical city walk and many, many restaurants.||Rooms are spacious with standard fittings and included handy bedside lights with built in USB ports. Given it's age and that it's probably a few years since any major renos the room was a bit worn in places like paint chips around bathroom door frame, general ageing and wear and tear you might expect from a well used large hotel. But we're not exactly talking 5-7 stars pricing and I was very happy with the room overall.| My only complaint would be that the tea/coffe supplies in the room didn't offer much variety and what was supplied looked a bit 'minimal', there was a Nespresso machine though at no extra cost.||The hotel does have its own bar/restaurant 'The Tram Bar' which I have reviewed separately and also has a separate dining room for breakfast. Breakfast was good with a generous hot buffet and cold/continetal option too plus fresh fruit and a great self serve automatic coffee machine.||Paking is to the side and rear of the hotel it is a public 'pay & display' carpark but a voucher/pass is available for in house guests to display, although still not free parking the charge was $6 per day during our stay. It's not a huge space and has a lower and upper level but have never had an issue getting a space.||Overall I'm sure I'll stay here again at some point and would recommend, all the staff we met from the begining to end of our 4 night stay were friendly and helpful.

We booked for 2 nights. Found that the bar or restaurant wasn't open on Sunday. Also found you have to pay for parking AND also pay to have your room cleaned. The rooms were fine but basic and the bed was comfortable. The hotel is centrally located and staff friendly. There was a safe in our room and wifi was good. But we felt that having to pay for parking and to get your room cleaned was a real insult.

The room was excellent value for money given the location. Lots of amenities close by and plenty of parking. Lots of restaurants etc withing a couple of minutes walk and a great bar around the corner. Staff were helpful and though I only stayed one night I will certainly stay again

The room was clean and fresh, the bed was comfortable, the bathroom however is dated and could do with a spruce up. Staff were very friendly and helpful, from the reception desk to the gentleman washing the windows. I would stay again for the convenience of the location.

Terrific off-street location, with plenty of parking, even though you have to keep your eyes peeled for the slightly hidden entrance. Rooms are somewhat basic, but very clean and well kept, perfect for the average traveler. The onsite restaurant was very nice if you don't feel the need to search elsewhere for an evening meal.

Might as well remove the EV charging. There are cars parked in front of the entrance lobby, I couldn’t drive pass to drop of my luggage before heading out to look for parking elsewhere. Some furnitures are in damaged condition and no floor trap at their basin area which water will seep through the carpet.

I understand it’s a best western - but we had a shocker. Double charged for parking, despite there actually being no parks available 🤦‍♂️ Attempted to charge us for breakfast which we didn’t eat then persisted to argue the point. Do you not have a system to bill those who have and those who haven’t eaten lol? Rooms filthy

You get what you pay for. Bathrooms have no exhaust fan and are very dated. Mouldy tiles. Orange stained shower curtain. Room service team very lovely and efficient. Had own car for this trip and was blocked in by a very rude female member of staff. Promptly advised reception that we were blocked in and unable to get out. Zero interest or concern. 15 minutes later the car was moved. No apology or acknowledgement. Would not recommend and will not stay again.

Nice hotel near CBD. A lot of shops are nearby on pedestrian streets. Also a lot of restaurants within 15 minutes walk. Parking is $6 for 24 hours.

Rooms are average size and neat tidy, the beds are huge! No room for a couch, but we just love the location and unique bar with great menu. The staff were very accommodating. Suggestions for nw places to checkout with the kids@!

The location of this hotel is good and neat to most place of interest. The room is clean.

Stayed here a number of times before & loved it. This time, asked for room 1 king bed. Got room with extra single bed, no couch, no Alexa, shower over bath. Asked for room to be serviced on next day didn’t happen. Left phone charger behind called & asked if they could look for it soon as I got home (1.5 hrs after leaving there) & the next 2 days after that I also called..no return call… at all. Gave us a ticket to park for free, then added $16 dollars for parking on checkout. While this is a great central place to stay close to everything, not as good as it was.

For a solo traveller, room is huge, clean and neat. I love the king size bed and the dining table next to it. The view of the parking lot and houses with a stretch of the sky was beautiful. There's a kettle, tissue box, fridge, coffee and tea plus shower amenities provided.

We arrived early to the hotel after a harrowing experience on the Spirit Of Tasmania and the staff member could see I looked a bit rough so she went out of her way to get us in a room early. ||Once we entered the room we could see it was recently updated and the beds were extremely comfortable and nice pillows not the thin nasty ones you get sometimes. ||The shower was so awesome the pressure and instant heat was so relaxing. Squeeze bottles of body wash and shampoo & conditioner are supplied.||Coffee, tea and sugar is supplied with a generous amount of milk in the fridge.||The cleaning staff are awesome coming back to a clean comfortable room after exploring.||The Buffet Breakfast was fantastic and the Staff members are so friendly and welcoming and will make sure you have food topped up.||Parking is not free but ylwhen you pay its a display tag system on the dash. ||The Tram restaurant is great for a feed and offers a nice little menu, I had the Wagu Burger and it was absolutely delicious plus generous portion. ||Would I stay here again, most definitely yes no hesitation at all. It's close the shops and a few minutes drive from the |museum and park lands.

Sounds a good hotel when you see the plus sign. But don’t be fooled. Service is below average. Rooms are worn out although decent size.better to look for other hotels as not worth the price . Can get a better deal anywhere else. Staff also not very helpful.

The hotel located at CBD Launceston. Staff are helpful. The room is clean, tidy, quiet and spacious. I had good sleep. Recommmend.

酒店就是在一個很好的地點，附近很多食店和酒吧。

酒店地處巿中心，位置方便。整體配套比較老舊，電梯內甚至沒有關門鍵，大堂有一部飲料小食售賣機，在近乎完全沒有24小時便利店的巿內已是不可多得的救命稻草。房間寛敞，沒有異味，景觀是開揚街景，鄉鎮感濃厚。洗手間熱水充足，有暖燈和浴缸，抽風到位，在非主流旅遊城鎮來說這酒店是回頭之選。

I recently stayed at this Best Western and was extremely disappointed with the experience. Despite being Platinum members, we encountered some of the worst customer service we've ever experienced. We requested that our room be cleaned while we were out, but when we returned, nothing had been done—not even the bin was emptied. I immediately complained to the reception desk, and Phil, the staff member, said he could only remove the bin. When I asked for a different room, he claimed all rooms were booked, even though the website showed availability. After pointing out this discrepancy, Phil said he would need to talk to his manager to see if we could be moved. Eventually, he offered us a similar room, but when I requested an upgrade, he insisted we would have to pay for it first. This level of service is unacceptable, especially for loyal Platinum members. The management needs to seriously reconsider how they handle such situations. We will be reconsidering our loyalty to Best Western if this is the standard of service we can expect.

Booked in at the last minute due to the IT Outage trashing out Jetstar flights back to Sydney. Of course Jetstar were absolutely useless and we at the last minute cancelled everything and ran to hide. We managed to find accommodation at Best Western for the family and they were great. Very helpful, patient and only too pleased to go above and beyond, despite having other travellers affected by the flight cancellations lining up to be booked in.Location is great, and everything is within walking distance.

We booked two rooms,( 4 people), to attend a function, then travelled back to the hotel to have a meal. No where on the web site or when booking did it mention that there is NO restaurant, or bar facilities, open on a Sunday ( breakfast until 9.30am, but only advertised in the Hotel itself). No satellite TV, ( as mentioned on the website).If i have known there were no food available on Sundays, i would have booked at another Hotel in Launceston.thank you

Filthy room with pre used linen and towels, I suspect the guest from the night before had checked out early so they just gave us the room without changing the linen and towels eww gross. There was dirty water in the bath. The walls were paper thin, with loud people up half the night. The mattress was old and lumpy and did both our backs in. Worst bed I had slept in for years. They charge you extra for parking after you check in. Avoid at all costs.

Good location directly in the centre. Good place to stay for a couple of nights.
