The food definitely was a miss here... The fish n chips I purchased was very disappointing... There was hardly any fish and only mostly the batter that it was fried in... I had to disassemble the fish from the batter in order to eat it... very oily and inedible... Also the servers/bar tenders that were serving our party weren't interested in us at all and continued their personal conversations with each other and ignored anything that we asked of... definitely will not be visiting again. How disappointing as this place was recommended by staff at the nearby Country Club Hotel...

I should have directly stepped out when I ask for white wine, confirm Sauvignon blanc and I am getting Shiraz 44 minutes to get a pizza in a so called pizzeria I guess the hot salami has lost its spiciness during that time as the hot Sicilian pizza was very blend Happy to wait 44 minutes to be asked by the staff after the pizza are finally on my table if I want cutlery and then having to wait again Unless you have lost taste and you have 1 hour to waste, do not go there

I was pleasantly surprised. We are staying at Country Club Villas (Bolters is onsite). The atmosphere is warm and inviting, the staff are next level helpful and efficient and i had the best mushroom pasta I've had in years (and I live on Lygon Street in Melbourne). Well done chef and staff. I recommend the mushroom cream pasta.

the food is good, the pizza is great. staff excellent, if I could change anything I'd find a way to quieten down the space a bit (flat ceiling doesn't help) but that's nitpicking. great spot.

The only thing is the waitress who drags the tables around by herself makes one hell of a noise

This was by far the worst customer experience we have received in many years. We were staying at the villas (where the staff were great), and we booked dinner for 16 people including kids. We arrived at 6pm on the Monday evening and from the outset the young manager had an attitude. We were berated for moving a few tables together from the Manager and the waitress extended the poor service from the moment we ordered to when meals were brought out to when we ended up leaving early because of the treatment we received. Customers should expect to be spoken to with respect and not treated like an inconvenience. We are hopeful the owner makes contact to apologise and address the issues we experienced. On the upside, the pizza was delicious and the 2 staff working behind the ovens did a great job.

Very welcoming venue. Even has a kiddies section for the little ones. Service was prompt, and the waiter tonight was so accommodating. Good food even made my little one calmer during the dinner, which was such a needed bonus. Ordered ravioli, bbq wings and chicken schnitzel, all were devoured with such enjoyment. Would definitely return, might try their pizzas next I've been hearing a lot about :) please come and try Bolters, excellent service with a smile!

Ordered an eye filet steak, but got a scotch fillet steak and is was sinuey and chewey, would not recommend steak at this place

Every now and then, we feel like a takeaway pizza and believe Bolters is the best in our area. Ring and order ahead as It's always busy. 👌

Best steak I have eaten in a long time. It was beautiful. The waiter and waitress were a delight and added to the great atmosphere.

My husband and I ate here last Saturday, excellent calamari, great chicken snitzel, lovely waitress and waiter, prices affordable too, were going back this Saturday.....what a hidden gem !

Had a great rib eye steak. There were 9 of us. How they brought all our meals out at the same time was pretty good service!!

Great family friendly atmosphere, wonderful staff and customer service, nice meal ... not one of the cheaper Chicken Parmigianas around ($27.50), but an enjoyable meal nonetheless, loved the narpolitan parmi sauce! Very warm and comfortable, lovely big fireplaces, ample customer parking.

Dined in the pizzeria area, very noisy and busy. Half our party of 8 received their starters in good time but rest waited ages and had to ask when it was coming out, even then one of the cob loaves came out with mains. The mains were tasty but only half came out with salad. Staff were friendly and helpful. Not sure I'd go back.

We dined in as the Grill was closed on a Monday. Pizzas were delicious, drinks reasonable. Nothing fancy about the restaurant as it is part bar, pool hall and liquor store...
