Fergies Betta Launceston - TV's, Fridges & Electrical Appliances

Went to buy a new washing machine ,we were served by Brady,his service was excellent and he was very helpful in what we needed and explained everything to us,highly recommended Fergies Launceston,also the delivery was very good, they delivered the new washing machine and took the old one away

I recently bought a fridge/freezer from Ferges Betta and the service was impeccable. Darren and team were really helpful and the delivery guys were great too. I'm really glad I chose to support a locally owned business and I will try to do that more often instead of using the national chains.

Tv is under warranty but have to jump through hoops to get a replacement or refund. 2 months without a tv and still haven’t done anything about it! Every email is something more that they want when I have explained what is wrong with the tv.

Very poor. LG tv (approx. $3800) that parents purchased has had a fault from new. Fergie's, shunned any responsibility to fix/rectify brand new tv passing responsibilty to manufacturer (LG) without any help/assistance. Further, Fergie's initially sold them a booster ($69) to fix the problem, passing the buck that did not fix it. An antennae repairer subsequently confirmed the booster was not required and there was no reception problem [Fergie's poor advice and shunning responsibilty)]. The tv was 'at fault'. LG were difficult to contact but eventually confirmed tv was faulty. Replaced components under warranty - the tv still has the same problem (pixelation at mid to bottom of screen at random intervals - sometimes every few minutes extending to hrs). Also, the Fergie's 'tv installer' (approx. $70) did not complete installation correctly as the sound bar was not connected. Said he needed to get a cable to complete install and would return - never did! All info above is factual and can be supported by receipts. As at 16 Dec 24: Happy to advise Fergie's have been very good, since the writing of this review, and have resolved via replacing tv with a new one.

Once again the staff at Fergies have gone above and beyond to satisfy. From price to service Fergies Betta at Invermay cannot be beaten. If they don't have it they will normally get it in. I would not purchase from anywhere else.

Brady was a most helpful sales person, providing the rangehood we required, and helped us select a new built-in oven. His ongoing support for home delivery and post-sales follow-up was exceptional. Keep up the good work.

Trying to get recommendations on a high end oven and cooktop. Staff member at counter saw me and said hello but no follow up as the staff are too busy having a chat. Quite pathetic. Back to Harvey Norman as they were no better but at least their range was bigger.

Excellent customer Service at Ferries Betta Launceston. We needed a specific LG washer/dryer, due space requirements. It was ordered for us in Dec 23, and kept in their store room until builder could fit it in March 24. When we call as a result of the builder not setting up the balance properly, we had a service man on site within half an hour. Everyone we dealt with was excellent..

Why would you shop anywhere else for electrical goods? That is my conclusion, after 4 years of practice. Yes I have tried the other bigger stores, the difference? consistent, knowledgeable and easy to find staff to start with, combined with a superior overall level of service, a trip to Betta Electrical is simply a pleasure. Special mention to Darren who just makes it all happen.

The service I received from Darren was exceptional. I purchased a Robotic Vacuum online, I planned on going into the store after work on new years eve to collect. I received a phone call from Darren, informing me my purchase was ready for collection. Unfortunately due to the store closing early, I would not be able to collect my Vacuum after work. After a quick discussion, Darren went above and beyond, hand-delivering my Vacuum to my workplace after the store had closed, in his own time. I can’t thank Darren enough!! I went in store to enquire about a product accessory as a Christmas present on a Saturday. I've bought a Chiq fridge off Betta on , it broke down after (17)months. Called then with repair and it's been a month. Only thing that's terrible than the fridge is Bettas customer service. Very disappointed and I'd be very very recommending this even to an enemy.

Incredibly happy with the service we recieved from Betta Electrical - price matched another store and then offered free delivery and disposal of the old appliance.

These people are so helpful. We refuse to go to Hardly Normal. We find Betta's prices are better than HN by a long way. eg $99 at HN and $75 at Betta. Wont shop anywhere else. Great friendly service and you don't have to walk a mile.
