I called Lucy at Reitsema’s Youngstown regarding a problem with my camper fridge. I asked her if I could speak to Graham about it. Lucy told me that Graham was out on a job and he would back at lunch time. She suggested that I bring the fridge in, which I did , arriving at Reitsema’s Youngstown at 12 noon. Graham was in the workshop working on another job. I explained the problem with my fridge to him. He agreed to take a look at it and helped me unload it into the workshop. After finding the problem, Graham checked and found a replacement part, fitted it in the fridge and I was on my way. Excellent service by Graham and Lucy. Could not be more helpful. Definitely recommend the service at Reitsema’s. Don Hayes.
Service agents for Thetford. My fridge stopped working .. was told if I brought the van in, it would be easier. All fixed in a couple of hours. Graham is a genius and a gentleman. Can't rate them high enough. Thanks again, guys.

Graham did an amazing job quickly fixing our Truma air conditioner in our motorhome. He had to practically disassemble the whole thing to get to the problem but he was right first time about the issue, he really knows his stuff. Very reasonable price for a job well done and us back sitting in the cool :)
Reitsema's Betta Electrical deserves mention. From the point of enquiry to the delivery of a 2 door fridge, the staff were helpful, easy to deal with and assisted above and beyond when the fridge didn't fit - for no additional fee. I was absolutely appalled by the rude, dishonest, and frankly, appalling customer service I received. My caravan fridge displayed an error code 50, indicating a simple blocked valve—a quick, straightforward fix. I was initially told the repair would take an hour. Three hours later, with no communication whatsoever, I called for an update, only to be met with complete indifference and a baffling inability to provide any information. Frustrated, I returned to the workshop myself, only to discover the work had been completed without a single phone call. This lack of communication was compounded by an exorbitant $330 invoice. As a qualified electrician and contractor myself, I know this repair should not have taken three hours. The explanation I received from Graham was, frankly, insulting to my intelligence. While the fridge is now working, the entire experience was a masterclass in unprofessionalism. If you're looking to throw money away and be treated with disdain, then by all means, go to Graham. Otherwise, I'd strongly advise seeking service elsewhere.
Excellent service and advice regarding a caravan fault.
Came here with a Dometic Fridge in our Motorhome that wasn't performing well. Graham went above and beyond to assist us. He provided expert advice and we are on our way. For such a small fee, we are more than pleased wirh his service. Such a gentleman too. Thanks Graham.
I purchased a mower and whipper snipper 16 years ago and they are still going. I have taken them back to the store to recycle and purchased replacements and the quality of the products and the service was outstanding. Highly recommended.
Great service and very friendly
Took my caravan into Graeme today to get a health check on my fridge for $129. It needed a new condenser fan which he went inside and got a new one and was about to install when I asked how much? He said well I don't know yet, I said well I need to know because I have a budget. He came back and said $89 for fan plus $220 labour 😲 My response was the cost of the fan is reasonable but I can't justify the labour, for a 5 minute job. I offered to purchase the fan and get hubby to put it in. It is at this point that Graeme became quite rude and abusive, even saying what's your name? KAREN!!! When I said I may leave bad feedback he said no one will take any notice cos you are the type to do it all the time!!!! Wow, what a way to run a business. Only go here if you have plenty of money, we will be happy to see you!!

Took our Avan Erin MK 11 caravan in to see Graham at Youngstown to see if he could fix the problem with our 3 way fridge that wasn’t cooling properly on gas, after we had already had it serviced at another caravan repair dealership and still wasn’t working we were lucky enough to find Graham, we turned up at 8.30am, met Graham who was extremely understanding and could understand our frustrations, he got us to park in front of the store, got his tools and in 45 mins he had replaced the jet and showed and explained to us exactly what was going on, went back to camp, got fridge running and even with the very hot temperature the freezer and fridge are working a treat, we would definitely recommend Graham to anyone who is having problems with their caravan fridge, Thankyou again Graham for helping us and putting a smile back on our faces 😊 Thankyou Mick and Belinda Horder
While touring Tasmania, my dometic fridge decided to break down. I was looking at the bushman's 130l dcx to replace it. The information and service given by Ron was top notch. After purchasing, I decided to have a crack on the installation as it was now past close, and the work shop was shut. Halfway through and with no real idea of what I was doing Graham showed up and offered me assistance. He saved the day without him,I would have been in big trouble. Thanks again, team, for such great service and an amazing fridge.

Processed a warranty claim with Lucy today for our Dometic fridge. It was so refreshing to deal with such an efficient, competent and enthusiastic person, in what I can only assume is a difficult industry in these times. I am very grateful to have found Reitsemas.
A few Weeks ago in Adelaide my motorhome fridge packed it in and I was leaving for a three month holiday in Tasmania in a few days. I contacted Lucy at Betta electrical in Young town Launseston. The new fridge was delivered from Melbourne in no time and Betta electrical service team installed it in no time and no fuss. I am so impressed with this business. It was just like old fashioned service and went out of their way to help me out in a stressful situation.
Fantastic service, our compressor in our new caravan falted over the weekend leaving us with no fridge, we are full time travellers with a young family and Graham thankfully squeezed us in Monday morning and fixed the issue straight away. Extremely lucky we came across Reitsema Electrical who got us back on the road in no time. Highly recommended.
We took our van to Graham with two gas issues one being hot water the other the fridge. Never even unhooked the van he fixed issues promptly in front of the store. He was so informative and helpful. We then went into the store and purchased two products for the van which Graham and Lucy helped us with. Super friendly and efficient through the whole process.Great family business. What great people to deal with. We had our Dometic fridge not working in the caravan. Lucy was lovely on the phone and had her Dad “Graham Reitsema” came out the same day. Troubleshoot the problem and fixed within the hour. Well done guys
What lovely people to deal with! We had an issue with the Truma hot water system in our caravan. The issue was quickly sorted and resolved, they even sorted out having the fix repaired under warranty for us. Great to see good old-fashioned customer service still exists. Very happy.
Thanks to Graham and Lucy for looking after us when our portable fridge malfunctioned just as we arrived in Tasmania for a 2 month visit. Graham exhausted all avenues to get it repaired at no doubt a time cost. When a replacement compressor from Dometic also failed to resolve the fault, a new replacement fridge was approved by Dometic. All this took 6 weeks to resolve due to shipping parts from the mainland. We would have been unable to continue travelling in our camper had Graham not gone out of his way to arrange a loan fridge for us. Very happy with the outcome and much appreciated service. Graham was absolutely fantastic helping us fix our camper fridge after just arriving in Tassie. Gave him a ring and he talked me through and few trouble shooting quick fix options before slotting us in the next morning for the repairs. Was a great result!
I went there with a query regarding my 12volt Waco Fridge in our Motor home as we were having issues with the temperature control. The service agent gave great advice and we were not charged Thank you for your good service.

I received an invoice for $44 without being told there would be one for repair quote of a second hand washing machine i needed to fix. When I called Graham he was rude and threatening. Its not the fee but the principle. He initially told me $80 would be roughly the cost to repair the Washing mach in March 2021. When I dropped the washing machine off he called 2 hours later and said $350 is the cost to repair! He kept my machine to fix and resell for himself since it was too expensive to repair and was to his benefit- a free machine he can repair and sell. Now, in June 2021, he posted me an invoice for the repair consultation that he never told me came with a fee. Very underhand and unprofessional. When I called and asked him why he did not say the consultation came with a fee and he quickly became very abusive. How can a business get away with this kind of conduct? Using their business name to send invoices out when the customer was not informed and it was not once I spoke to them but twice to arrange drop off time and discuss possible issue with the machine. Not once was a fee brought up- just a bill months later!
I had amazing personalised assistance from Reitsema's. I live rurally, and over 120km from the store, but they organised a new washing machine delivered to my door, all handled remotely. The staff (particularly Lucy) were incredibly helpful, responded by email and phone calls very quickly, helped me select a model that suited my needs, and then arranged for it to be shipped from the mainland and delivered to my door, in less than a week and without me having to leave home. The delivery cost was very reasonable given the distance and even the service from the couriers they used was outstanding. This has been one of the most positive experiences I've had shopping remotely/online, and particularly for a relatively large and expensive purchase. I very highly recommend this store!

Have a faulty ‘Truma’ heater in our van. Launceston Reitsema’s serviceman, Graham, promptly inspected the unit and spoke to the Truma technician and advised us what to do next. Appreciated Graham’s upfront no nonsense service and advice. We were back on the road in less than 30 minutes.

Went to Reitsema's Betta electrical in Youngtown yesterday to look at ovens. Our old St George died. Ended up getting a good deal on a Beko Steam ? oven. Best part they could install the next day. Sales woman was very help full. And knowledgeable. I also noticed they had some good prices on Bar Fridges.

The reason I gave one star is there is no zero star. Terrible service of staff name Graham. It is so dangerous for a unstable emotional person held an electrician license. In fact, haven’t check the license he said.

Exelent service and prompt repair Dometic caravan 3 way fridge 240 v heating element failed. Booked caravan repair for next day repair. Serviceman Graham was on site at the store at the agreed time , replacement part in stock, repair completed in 30 minutes. Practical advice given on maintaining the Dometic fridge and aircon unit. Satisfied customer.
What wonderful service we received from Graham our 3 way fridge was not working on gas we called the shop to be told by a really nice guy that the repair shop is closed on a Saturday how ever he asked me what the problem was and he proceeded to give me Graham’s mobile no. I called Graham as we were close to his home we meet him there and he was able to fix it on the spot. What a lovely man I would highly recommended Graham to do your repairs. Thank you so much Graham

I recently took my caravan to Reitsemas at young town after I noticed that the gas function on my dometic 3 way fridge was not working properly. They claim to have spent 6 hours working on it to discover that a mud wasp had blocked the flue, I was charged a staggering $:528 for the labour. At $88 per hour. In my opinion a competent tradesman would have found the problem much quicker. So now the only Thing I can do is warn others via various clubs I am in and by posting on forum websites.
what a nasty people !! I did ask the owner to deliver my new gas stove and get connected he said yes, then the delivery man came just requesting payment and not electrician for my connection at all and he said I don know anything about it sorry, so I called the owner and he denied saying he will not do the connection and you have to fix it. He was very nasty on the phone verbally abusing me, swearing and jelling at me, so he wasn't honest he did promise something to be organised and he didn't. I am taking this complain to the police and legally against this crappy business.
Avoid this store , rude arrogant and didnt even offer to take a large fridge to my car, even asked why didn't I bring my own trolley only give them one star as I couldn't find zero stars
The worst service I have ever had, refused to give me a tax invoice on request, didn't want to tell me what the hours labour he charge me were for. Very rude and condescending. Never go there or recommend ever

Great service from Graham, we are travelling in Tassie and had a problem with our 3 way fridge, not only did Graham know straight away what the problem was but was able to fix it and send us on our way to enjoy the rest of our holiday. Thank you Graham.
Rubbish business dont use them. Use their name in facebook and you'll see why. Close your business and move on mate.
