Not a lot of accessories stock for products they sell

The manager Zina is very apathetic and unhelpful. Disappointing attitude to see.

They were going in about being the best something or other? Well let me tell you it's not best Customer service. I know they do price match but didn't know how it worked exactly .. so I had mg screen ready with the blender $44 at Good Guys...and I said that about 5 times while she ignored me and proceeded to charge me $55. If it's in my cart..and the shop is around the corner why would I go ahead and pay an extra $10. LISTEN to what your customers are saying! Think you head has gotten a little big.

Super unhelpful when they had mistakenly sent out the wrong item. We had paid for quicker delivery. No apology or care. They would not refund and insisted that I be responsible for returning the item even though it was their mistake. Incredibly rude and the manager’s (or one of the customer service team) tone was aggressive.

Very bad costumer services staf and manager both are don’t trust any one this shop very danger people not a 1 star this shop is unsafe 0 star

I went to the shop once with my dad and Mum to get something from here. One of their staffs Vasna was super helpful and friendly. He helped us to find what we needed. Thanks for the excellent customer service

I have not been in a JB store when the customer service has ever been good ! The staff in the Dalton Road, Thomastown are absolutely disgusting. I was in there yesterday, the only customer in the shop. I went and asked if someone could help me with office printers. The young man said he would call someone. I waited 15 minutes and all I heard was laughing by the 3 staff that were all up near the entrance. I was so disappointed as I walked out the door, I mentioned to the girl that their customer service was the worst I had experienced. She never said a word she just stared at me blankly. I purchased a printer at BigW at a cheaper price anyway. I will not go to JB Hifi ever again.

This is definitely becoming my favourite electronic store. The staff are nice and friendly. I went there to return a faulty Sony earbuds and they were just happy to help

Bought a 55” television on the 6th of January 2025 and informed the staff that collection would be tomorrow at 12:00pm as the television would be taken to airport. Received a call from a Helen at 11:17am and said the television that you bought was sold to another customer, here are your options, come to the store for a refund, go to Broadmeadows which is the closest store to us to pick it up from there or wait a few days for the television to be transferred to our store then you can pick it up, doesn’t even acknowledge that they made a serious blunder and no apology at all. Very unprofessional indeed, that’s not how you handle situations like this! The worst customer experience i have ever experienced, so now i am left with a big problem on my hand to work out the logistics. Asked to speak to the Manager and the response i get is they are in a conference call, not even leaving a message for the Manager to call me back? I am surely going to pass this through to the Head of Customer Service. Please train your staff on how to manage such situations. Let alone making sure that during busy periods you have adequate staff to attend to customers, on two occasions i had to wait almost 30 minutes to make a purchase, all i needed was staff to get the product from the shelf as i knew exactly what i wanted, almost gave up and when the staff saw that i had enough of it that’s when someone came to attend to me. One star is very generous to be honest!

Excellent customer service

The staff member who attended was very unprofessional. This was the worst experience ever had with JB-Hifi. Usually the other stores staff are very friendly and professional all the time.

Wouldn't even right me up and invoice, judgemental customer service; typical spoilt and lazy service.

The staffs were very helpful and friendly in assisting and advising well for what data plans and payment arrangements you should choose.

Bought a gadget

Just have to say what a great experience I had at JB Hi-Fi at Epping Plaza recently. I dealt with Mohamed there. His customer service was exceptional! He gave me a great price on the products that I purchased & his knowledge & attention to detail was second to none. Previously I had been to Harvey Norman, JB Hi-Fi & the Good Guys in Thomastown & they didn't come close to emulating the service that I received from Mohamed! Just awesome. I come from a sales background myself & I certainly value & appreciate excellent customer service. Thanks again Mohamed! Keep up the excellent customer service. I will definitely refer family, friends & clients to you in the future. Cheers Gary

Super helpful staff - talked us through our options but didn't have stock. Checked their system and referred us to the Craigieburn store where they had stock of the laptop we wanted which made my Wife very happy 😀 Great Customer Service👍

Not costumer oriented place

Rez is an absolute angel. He was manning the door and got in trouble for leaving his post just to helping customers. He saw me waiting helplessly for someone to come and assist me. When waited for a long time, still nobody came as they were all busy with other customers, blessed Rez quickly helped me grab an item from the cabinet and price matched before returning back to his post. Please give this gentleman a pay rise, he is what true customer service is about. About 20mins before Rez helped me, I approached another female employ for a quick simple yes or no question but was brushed aside.. Please JB HI-FI, don't let your sales/customer service staff man the door but instead hire security guards if you're worried about shop lifting. For Rez, I would give him all the full star ratings. For the actual store, I would give below average from my wait times.

I had an experience today that started off a bit frustrating, but thanks to Bernedette or B, it turned into a great one! Initially, the person I approached for assistance didn’t seem very helpful or engaged, and I left feeling a little disheartened. But then I met Bernedette or B, and she completely turned my day around. From the moment I spoke to her, Bernedette or B was warm, attentive, and genuinely eager to help. She listened patiently to my concerns and went above and beyond to ensure I left satisfied. Her professionalism, kindness, and ability to quickly resolve my issue were truly impressive. Bernedette or B is a shining example of what exceptional customer service should be. She not only helped me with what I needed but also made me feel valued as a customer. I can’t thank her enough for her outstanding service, and I hope her efforts are recognized because she truly made my day. Thank you, Bernedette (B) —you’re amazing! 🌟

Excellent shopping experience here on Sunday. We had the pleasure of interacting with Saad who was incredibly helpful with helping my brother find and purchase a laptop for school. My brother has disabilities but the salesperson was super patient and respectful in the way he spoke and explained things. 🧡

Great helpful and knowledgeable staff

Ridhi Epping - was amazing! She went above and beyond to assist me at a very hectic time to set up/transfer my 87 year old fathers 3G phone to a new phone. She was so helpful and kind. Excellent customer service.

Great products friendly staff great prices

Wanna give a shoutout to Saad who helped me out with buying a laptop yesterday. Gave some really useful advice and explained a lot of things that I wouldn't have understood on my own. My go to JB from now on 🙂

I have came here today third time to buy air fryer and they keep telling me to wait in the area but no one showed up. May be this is how they treat their customers. It is very disappointing considering biggest retailer in the Australia market.

My JBL Headphones are fantastic. Door security guy was helpful and polite and customer service was exceptional

Lots of great electrical equipment. No issue with exchange

I have been to JB Hi Fi in the recent months for two things. One was to purchase a T.V and the other to purchase an iPhone for my grandson. The experience I have had from the staff members is fantastic. Couldn’t ask for more. Everything was explained in detail. Excellent customer service from the guys in the TV section. Today I went in just to have a look at the sale and I ended up buying an I phone for my grandson. Rafael was amazing. Explained the difference between all the phones . He had time he paid attention to what I was saying and answered every single question. I said I would think about it but because of his excellent communication skills and service I purchased the phone immediately. I recommend JB Hi Fi Epping to anyone who is looking to purchase JB Hi Fi products. I will be going there for all my purchases. Excellent job.

Excellent service and the staff are extremely helpful. I had an issue with the JB Hi Fi plenty valley manager messing up a click and collect order of mine and the employees at JB Hi Fi Epping helped me out immensely. Definitely go to this JB Hi Fi if you need anything.

Poor customer service. I bought $1475 laptop from Epping plaza jbhfi. Asked them to give a carry bag. They are asking me to pay 50 cent for paper bag $1 for plastic bag.After paying big amount for laptop I don't want pay $1 for their advertised bag. Not a customer satisfaction buying from jbhifi.

VI regret to inform you that there seems to have been an oversight in providing all the necessary information. As a loyal and dedicated customer, I have had the pleasure of conducting numerous transactions and making frequent purchases from your establishment. However, I must express my disappointment as this incident will mark the conclusion of our business relationship. Regrettably, the actions of your staff at Epping Plaza, including the manager and her team, were far from satisfactory. They abruptly ended our conversation without offering any assistance, despite my polite and respectful demeanor.

It's good there is more staff to help to customers.

My favourite place

Terrible staff member. Was so reluctant to price match other reputable stores like the money was coming out of her pocket. $64 difference for Samsung headphones. Felt sick after my visit when l have spent so much money with them and not asking for anything special, that other staff members have done with no real questions asked in the past.

The stuff is very helpful and the price is much better than ebay

Return policy is bad , very disappointing and dishonest sold me Motorola g52 phone faulty 18 months ago and it turns off randomly and takes lots of efforts to re start but when I went to return it ,this guy replied like we can't admit your complaints unless it happens in front of us, pretty much asking me indirectly to live in JB HIFI approx around 4 to 7 days as the problem with the phone was turning off as frequent as 4 to 7 days , funny 🤣,Still using it problem is still same ! Honestly advised think before you buy they can sell you faulty tech and no return!

The venue was great Natalie and the Head waitress I think her name was Maria were fantastic the deal with and made the night easy for us the food was fantastic the only issue we had was some of the chicken was slightly under cooked but overall everyone had a great night. Thanks Luxor we would look at using your venue again for other events.
