CLUB HISTORY

GUERNSEY

1966 - 2003
Mooroolbark Football Club was established in 1966 and participated in what is now known as the Eastern Football Netball League (EFNL). Known as the Falcons, the club wore dark green and gold striped guernseys for the first 37 years of its existence, winning 1 senior premiership during this period.

2003 - 2023
Two years after rebranding as the “Mustangs”, the club changed its guernsey to a brighter green with gold slashes from hip to opposite shoulder, featuring the original Mustang logo in the center. Variations of this design were worn until 2023, with 1 senior premiership added to the tally.

2011 - 2023
Due to clashes with rival clubs’ guernsey colors, an away strip was introduced. The away strip was black, styled similarly to the home guernsey, with green and gold slashes and the original Mustang logo in the center. This was used as an away/clash guernsey until 2023, when a modern take on the original design was introduced.

2021 - 2023
With the introduction of the Senior Women’s team in 2021, a new guernsey was commissioned exclusively for the women’s team. This guernsey mirrored the men’s design but featured pink coloring between the slashes and no back panel for numbers.

2023 - Present
During the 2023 season, a new clash/special guernsey debuted as a modern interpretation of the original design. It was worn in an away game against Bayswater and twice more that season. At the start of 2024, the club decided to return full-time to the original guernsey, with all teams (excluding veteran women) making the switch.

Great family environment

Great afternoon with the family for a local game.

Absolutely fantastic team and club.

Nice set up Ground is good

Great ground in lovely location.

Cricket for juniors

Purely a review only on the public toilet accessible on the carpark side of the building, not the seperate toilet building. Was pretty terrible condition today. Badly smashed mirror, no seat on the toilet. No paper towel in the dispenser. Outdated leaflet toilet paper instead of toilet paper rolls. Would only use facility if busting for the loo, if you can hold it, hold it.

Toilets could've been alot better. But the ground was good for what it is.

Great

Great club that is really supportive of the children. Have been involved for 8 years. Facilities are lacking and need upgrading (like everyone else around the area) - hopefully soon. Sometimes things can be disorganised but I think that comes with an organisation that is volunteer run - almost everyone is in it for the right reasons and trying their best.

Good oval for footy
