Been here 2 weeks ago and the experience was ok... came here thursday 27/02/2025 evening wanting a nice dinner and steak.... waited for quite some time for my waiter to come back to my table taking my order... food eventually came but no cutlery on the table 🥴. asked for my steak medium and it was still on the bloody side and asked for it to be grilled again. came back decided ok im going to start enjoying this only to find my steak was thee most rubbery piece ever... abit disappointed about this and no im not seeking any refund or compensation... maybe just asking the chef to try and do a better job selecting the meat.... don't think i'll be coming back anytime soon...

Just love going to GreenBank playing bingo it's my favourite place hanging out with my besties win or lose. The girls who run it are really friendly and helpful great place to hang out if have a couple of hours free.

I am displeased with the Greenbank RSL and their lack of communication with the rules and inadequate signage. My daughters attended today in hopes of going to bingo as they have done many times before yet this time they were denied entry due to one of my daughters being a little short of 18. On the website it states ‘Minors must be accompanied by a parent, legal guardian or responsible adult at all times.’ If this is true then they should have been let in like they have been on previous occasions. My girls were told that the actual rule is that people under 18 have to be accompanied by someone over 30 and that they know the signs aren’t clear about it… so why don’t you make it clear it’s your website ?? This is concerning for numerous reasons, if you know something is not clear why don’t you do something about it and if they have been let in before then something is going on with the staff and their knowledge of the rules..who knows what other things are going on in there. You either let them in every-time or never you can’t pick and choose it’s unfair and a waste of my time. Fix the website.

Hiring the top bar was 1 if the best decisions I made celebrating my daughters 21st. The venue was big enough to accommodate for our 150 guests...very spacious.. events coordinator shannie was very informative, all questions where answered..great customer service.. staff was absolutely lovely and very helpful.. well done greenbank rsl.. we will definitely recommend this place to others 🙌🙌

The food was fantastic and such great value for money. Once all the refurbishments are completed, it will be the best RSL to visit.

Went to a private function at the roof top bar on Saturday night. It was a ridiculously hot and staff wouldn't allow the shade blinds to be rolled up to let the breeze in. I realise you have no control over the weather, however, if those blinds were rolled up it would have been so much more comfortable with a breeze coming through. A lot of people left this party early because it was just way too hot!!! For the price you charge you need to glass in that open area and put in air con! I won't be back!

The first time there went for trivia, awesome food was good also

Bingo rocks

After the family arriving some to 2 hrs for a family gathering at the Marketplace for a meal we were informed after 30 minutes that we have to wait another 45 minutes for our meals. It's a bit hard when you have young children hungryI have my doubts of coming back and every cancelling my membership. Very poor show. Apparently it happens a lot.

Feedback from our experience at The Marketplace. We ate there and had the Churrasco for 6 people. My wife and I were in South America last year and what was served up reminded us of our holiday, especially the cheese bread, it was the same as we had in Rio. The meat fell off of the bone without any assistance. The quantity of food was enough for 6 adults, with some being put into a takeaway container. By far the best meal we've had in any RSL.

Love the food and atmosphere except for the incessant button slapping patrons in the Pokie area. About ready to find another venue which will be our 3rd time we have moved from a venue. It's getting out of hand throughout the sector. This practice should be stopped.

Shocking service, staff have no personality, too many changes, bring back staff with personality who want to be there.

We had a great lunch at Marketplace, the toddler had an amazing time on the kids play equipment and mummy and daddy got to experience the gaming floor. I'm a member here for a reason. Yummy! See you again soon.

We went to dinner on Saturday at market place - most of the meals were good except for two - the South American Brazilian & the chicken schnitzel came out and were cold - the Brazilian the meat was cold and chips and the pasta was not cooked and the chicken schnitzel & chips were cold as well - very disappointed

The renovations are progressing well. More options for food and places to catch up and relax with friends and family.

Went to cafe for my 50 with wife. Ordered two well done steaks. There were not cooked right, pink and blood on plate. Wife ate salad only and I cut around the edges to get the cooked bits. When we bought this up with staff we were told it is a new cook. They took 3 dollars of our 107 dollar bill. No good doing upgrades if food and service is no good. Time to find somewhere else to eat.

Very uneducated and aggressive security. The chap i was with has a disability and does not walk 100%. Security wouldn't listen and said he was drunk, even tho his speach was 100%. There was a registered ED nurse who was with us, who tried to explain his condition. Wouldn't listen, knew better than the nurse. Quiet disgusting behaviour this day and age to treat someone with a disability in that manner.

We went to the garden cafe today and it is so different so the Market Place its crazy. The service was good and the food was well priced, will be back at the cafe again but as for the market place ig will get a big miss as this is poorly organised and the staff had no idea. Open 3 weeks and the bar person thaught a Budweiser was a cocktail and no one could fund any on site, very poor and substandard opening. Get it right the first time if you want return business.

On holidays in Browns Plains & decided to have dinner @ Market Place within RSL. Imagine my joy when told they stock Black Bottle brandy (my drink of choice is brandy & dry), however I was crushed when told the RSL no longer stocks brandy! Thankfully our meals were very nice, but my next visit will be a drink-less one 🤦

A group of 18 of us ate at the Gardens restaurant. All the staff were awesome as soon as we walked in the front door. I was really impressed with the attentiveness of the wait staff. Given our big group, the food, which was good, came out nice and quick. Great value too.

Greenbank Services Club, formerly known as the Greenbank RSL, is located at 54 Anzac Crescent, Hillcrest, Qld 4118. At this point in time, the Greenbank Services Club has undergoing a major renovation, which in time will improve the main restaurant area. The main restaurant area is called Market Place. There is seating available, but you need to make a prior reservation on the club website as there are ongoing works still in progress 😉 Once all the new renovations have been completed, it will definitely be a vast improvement for all members & visitors. A fantastic establishment has excellent facilities, mostly located on one level. There is a lift located near the reception desk, with the friendly staff providing wonderful customer service as required A drop-off point is located at the front entrance to the club with a ramped area for wheelchair access. Excellent parking is located on the opposite side of Anzac Crescent from the Services Club as well as onsite parking. Limited undercover parking is available. There is a large cafe & bar area located on the left-hand of side of the entrance to this club that offers great & meals. You can order off the menu using the club website application at your table. The restaurant caters for a wide variety of meals & has plenty of seating & great bar area & toilets are also located in that location. People with special dietary requirements are catered for & I found the staff in the restaurant to be very friendly making our stay more enjoyable. Also available at the Greenbank Services Club is a child caring area, which is an excellent facility. There is a large gaming room with a bar & separate outdoor area for people who wish to smoke 🚬 Greenbank Services Club has a wonderful outdoor area where the Anzac day service is held. Greenbank Services Club has a large membership base, making it one of the best Community based establishments in Queensland. It was definitely worth the drive from Brisbane to experience a great day out & enjoy the wonderful facilities & service this club offers 😀 👌

We went to a Christmas function at the Top Deck. The finger food was not very appealing. Considering the per head charge one would have expected better than what seemed like home brand sausage rolls and party pies. The sliders were very average too. Disappointing overall. One star out of five.

This is based on the dinner we had on the international section. Way below average for a place like this. We were a table of 4 and not one of our plates where okay. Pork ribs couldn’t even cut it. Lamb ribs portion small not same as table next to us. Sides where cold parma. But after complaining they did refund the ribs. Thanks for that.

The new Marketplace is extremely disappointing. Roast was cold. American ribs and wings - ribs were dry and chewy with the sauce underneath, and wings were overdone. A complete waste of money. Will not be back!

For a 'big city' restaurant, the whole menu leaves a lot to be desired if you have dietary requirements. Being a coeliac, there were very few gluten free options to choose from, especially if you can't eat seafood either. They couldn't even give me mash potato because of the butter used to mash 😳. If you choose to be Vegan or vegetarian, you are in luck. Plenty of dishes to choose from, on the menu 😕

The staff are unfriendly, extremely rude and borderline physically abusive, the food is dry and bland I wish the person running the reception yesterday a horrible year and for her car to break down every 2 months

Classy place, good service, clean, effe cient.

My 1st visit, ordered a pot of tea, no sugar nor tea spoon provided. Proceeded to dining room for lunch. Ordered our lunch, a stir fried chicken cashew nuts and sweet sour pork both with rice and others. Chicken meat was very very dry and chewy, the rice was dry and lack of moisture too. 😳

I had issues with my card at BINGO. However, the BINGO manager went above and beyond to help and ensure I could still play.

Many of my Over 50s Village residents go often to Greenbank Services Club for bingo, Seniors Day, and the lunch menu. 500 points Monday lunch is very popular with pensioners, as are the afternoon promotions. The staff are especially attentive to us oldies!

Ongoing renovations, 2025, includes Live Entertainment Sky-Bar. Very old, Large, Popular Club. A great, attentive & caring Staff Team. Never a bad meal had at Greenbank RSL in thirty years. Well done !

We recently had a staff function on the Roof Top. The venue was fabulous. It was quite a hot day and the fans and blinds kept our group at a good temperature. The staff were helpful and obliging. We hired a jukebox and 360 photo booth which fit well in the space and contributed to a super-fun event! There was a good selection of drinks available and the food options we chose were timely and well received by our guests. Thanks Greenbank Services Club! We'll be back!

The exterior of the establishment appeared impressive; however, the facilities within were quite limited. The interior was predominantly occupied by poker machines, with a small area designated as a bar, which was merely a narrow opening in the wall. 100% would not waste your time.

A big place. Everything was OK. Nothing to rave about and no stand outs in the staff.

Good atmosphere, good food.

We hosted our year 6 graduation upstairs this year. And what a wonderful event, the service was amazing, the food was delicious and venu was amazing and felt safe, all Communication with events coordinator was very prompt. All catering requirements were met, Families were able to drop off in the ring road which made for a safe drop off. Our graduating students had the very best time, we only had great feedback from our students and Teaching staff. We will be booking again next year, thank you for having us. Burrowes P&C Committee We are already so excited for next year.
